Trastevere

My second most favourite scent from the regular line of scents from Pantheon Roma. Trastevere is a very balanced mix of sweet vanilla, dry, roasted chestnuts contrasted with a green, aromatic artemisia and a full bodied, indolic jasmine. Not that is smells very similar to, but it gives me similar vibes, but from far away, to By the Fireplace by MMM. I’d say Trastevere is the more elegant, feminine, sweeter and less smokier version of that. It’s more versatile than Dolce Passione and more easy to wear day to day for most of the seasons because of its predominant vanilla, nutty base. Smells very natural, realistic and expensive. More feminine I would say. I am not familiar with Pantheon Roma, but after sampling most of their line today, I am inclined to think that they use a good amount of natural oils and high quality ingredients when they formulate their fragrances. The packaging and the bottles look and feel very heavy and luxurious. Maybe not five star presentation like Xerjoff, but not far behind! Pantheon Roma is definitely on my radar now!

Absolutely delicious, intoxicatingly sweet gorgeous gourmand. This smells like a cozy Italian sweets and coffee shop, where you can taste creamy chestnut vanilla deserts and at the same time you get a hint of freshly brewed coffee in the air, not quite the coffee taste, more like its foam. I got the sweetest completement on a fragrance to this day about Trastevere. I was at a kids playground with my little one day and suddenly a 3-4y.o. boy stopped playing with the others, looked around and yelled: "It smells so nice here! What is this, mommy, what is it, smells so nice!!". Guilty as charged and being somewhat close (so obviously it was me😀) I ask him, "What does it smell like?" "Biscuits!! I looove biscuits!!!" Beast projection and longevity.

This is the only perfume I have tried out of dozens and dozens that purport to be like baked sweet bread, which actually smells exactly like that. It could be panettone or the pastry served at breakfast with latte in Italy, as far as I am concerned. It is sweet, doughy, rich and buttery. I don't smell anything synthetic at all. It is beastly without being overpowering or causing a headache. This is in the top ten of my rotation, among my 200 perfumes. I simply love it.

Perfume muy oscuro, es un dulce fuera de lo cotidiano. Es un chocolate muy oscuro con toque a castaña. No es la tipica nota de vainilla a la que estás acostumbrado. Tiene mucha personalidad. No lo recomiendo comprar a ciegas. Como te pases con la dosis, te puede hasta saturar el olor. Eso sí, es un perfumazo para clima frío.

Trastevere is chic and delicious and very Italian. A true high quality gourmand with a distinctive nutty opening. Besides the chestnuts I can definitely smell coffee which I absolutely love. The lasting power is good so I consider it a fbw fragrance.
