The Mandala

Really nice warm weather scent! Been reaching for it a lot lately. I didn’t know what marigold smelled like until this fragrance but I’m enjoying it. I don’t smell fleur narcotic in this at all btw which is a fragrance I don’t care for. This is slightly rosy, green mango, yellow florals and some vetiver to round it out. I don’t pick up on much patchouli which for me is a good thing. This is a very nice, fresh, mood boosting perfume that’s blended very well. Unique to my collection. Unisex. Good performance and great longevity.

Green mangoes fallen from a tree with a hint of rose & marigold. It’s tart with a subtle green bitterness, if you’ve ever eaten green mangoes with the skin on you know exactly what I mean. This transports me right back to India where me, my brother and friends would climb the mango trees and pluck out the mangoes to eat them. Just like that memory, this scent is utterly joyous. This is NOT your sweet fruity Mango...it has more going on with it & after testing on my arm, I am mesmerize by it! I am definitely getting some type of soft spice & still bright ...you can smell the Indian influence, which I LOVE so far...feeling like I may need a full bottle in future!

This is a warm cozy hug in a bottle. The florals aren’t sharp, but rather enveloping. The green mango makes this fresh enough for year round wear. One of my new favs!

No roses at all! It's greenish mango peel and marigold. Very strong and sunny. Great perfume!

Be careful with spraying this! Super strong and long lasting. With that being said, I didn’t expect it to be rose forward but it definitely is. Maybe that’s how real marigolds smell (I never smelled them) but it’s like roses mixed with something yellow and golden and warm. It opens up very bright and tart and in the middle the warm florals open up. At first it wasn’t as much rosy as it was some type of warm golden floral, but as it dries down the rose comes out a lot. I didn’t expect it to be strong and so i over sprayed but now im stil choking on it 5-6 hours later. Really sorry to my coworkers. It’s really nice but next time will go much lighter. This was almost a love, but after a few days of sampling - the 'rose' note is what puts me off. I understand that rose is not listed as a note but there is something giving rose vibes which I cant unsmell. The opening is delightful - fresh and juicy - but once the florals takeover, I am out. Maybe it is the marigold I am smelling as rose-like?? Dunno, but what I can say is that Param Sara makes some really fabulous scents and I can understand why this is loved.

Not even close to a marigold scent which I was hoping for. Smells very familiar but I can’t place it. It’s a nice floral blend with a hint of synthetics. I’m selling a FB on Mercari. I continue onward with my search for a marigold scent.

The sprayers on the sample sets are trash. I had to decant to my own stuff. The customer service has thus far ignored my complaint. That said, this is the special one. The Bodhi, and The Kama are fine-to-good. This one is special. The mango-marigold-osmanthus is doing big thangs. The patch and vetiver give you just a little tingle from time to time. This one is good enough that it makes all that marketing b.s. above almost feel true.

pushes like a Bisch perfume. a modern synthetic vibe. pleasant and nose-catching if sparingly applied.

The review says it’s rose forward but rose isn’t listed under notes. Which one is wrong?
