The Nagi

This is absolutely beautiful, wow. Amazing quality, so smoothly blended and what a beautiful fig leaf scent it is and quite addictive I must say. The fragrance gets better and better as it dries down but it’s gorgeous from start to finish. Green, wisps of coconut, creamy, slightly sweet and a little savory finished with a soft musk. Comforting and cocooning. Immediate full bottle purchase! Performance is great as well, leaves a nice sillage for hours and is very long lasting. Param Sara is under the radar at the moment but they are a must try. I’m quickly falling in love with this house.

Stunning multifaceted scent based around the idea of change from cold to warm. Basically all of my favorite notes: fig, coconut, clove, rice. I can hardly believe it. A forever fragrance for me. Sits close-ish to the skin but very much detectable when hugging and in close proximity. Lasts a while and goes on a lovely journey, as advertised.

Wow, wow, wow. My 100th review; how special to spend it on this exceptionally unique- yet wearable- perfume. A hard like- maybe a love... time will tell. Opening is extremely green. A crushed fig leaf. Fresh coconut meat with no syrupy sweetness, no essence of sunscreen. A warm, faintly Biscoff-like sweetness from the clove arises as the perfume develops. Lightly sweetened sticky rice hovers in the background throughout. The blending itself is so interesting- there is some real palpable electricity in between each of these notes. They are spaced somewhat closely together, but they are all equidistant from each other. Like a series of electron shells- perfectly taut, maintaining just enough space from each other that they all can be detected independently. A real staccato effect. So cool. Green fig, coconut, distant biscoff, rice, clove. I'm not sure this is a full-on love for me yet, but this deserves a lot of props. If you love indie, and you love green, or rice, or coconut... totally FB worthy

I have been waiting patiently to try the Nagi - everything I had read about it made it seem like something I would love. But I am disappointed. At first, you do get the beautiful natural smelling fig and coconut - I agree with the reviewer below that this is not a sweet sunscreeny coconut (thank goodness) but a fruity (almost savory) coconut. The fig is what adds sweetness. If the fragrance stayed in this territory I would love it, but the move into the rice and clove drydown is very cloying - and not something I want on my skin. If you like that profile (I am thinking of some other rice/spice perfumes) you will love this. If you are coming for the green and the coconut/fig , you might be disappointed.

Very good longevity from The Nagi! Really enjoying sampling this, it opens more green and later develops into a mellow clove coconut, with the clove taking centre stage. The rice starchiness rounds the perfume up and gives it a more playful character. If I would change one thing, it would be the colour of the bottle, as it deceptively points to evening wear. This perfume is totally appropriate for daytime wear and is office/commute friendly, as it wears closely on the skin. I think this makes for a great season transition scent, ideal for late summer early autumn.
