Very rarely do I like perfumes with jasmine. As soon as I tried the perfume, I thought "this is one of those times". If you don't like natural, heady jasmine, this is not for you. Run away screaming. It's definitely not for you! I was a bit surprised by the wide pyramid of notes, because apart from a few murmured whispers of lime and woody notes (to be honest, there's a stroke of genius here, and not something I expected to support the lead flower), I perceive only the purest sunny jasmine. And what a trail it leaves, what an aura. I was looking for the jasmine I smelled poolside on an illicit night out, and I'm sure I found it. The scent is epic, gorgeous and sinuous. Use it sparingly or your whole life will smell of Jasmine (which is fine for me, but for others? Kindness must be shown). Both myself and my husband love to wear this perfume.

When I smell jasmine, I personally don't like it because of the bad associations it has given me in the past; it smells old. I chose this perfume as a gift for my mom. It's a little motherly, a little grandmotherly. It is a mature perfume for sure. And unisex. It will look good on a 40+ man. The natural jasmine note, which many people will like, can be nauseating for me. It's impossible not to fall in love with the bottle. Both the box and the bottle are like a magical talisman that takes you under its spell. It's as if it came out of the royal family's jewelry chest. But I don't plan to buy it for myself as long as I have other options in this collection. If you are thinking of buying it as a gift for a loved one over 40+, I think this would be the best gift on earth.
