Andalusian Night

You either love this scent or hate it. I love it. Especially in the heat. The person looking at the notes might say fall/winter, but trust me on this, it's two different perfumes. One for cold and one for warm. In winter/autumn it's honeycomb, waxy, floral, with cashmere and plum. Very nice, very wearable but... In summer/heat the flowers bloom. The honey *melts* and becomes liquid gold, sweet and rich, the kind you can feel in the back of your throat. it becomes fresh, floral and the notes of wood, as if roasted in the sun, come to the fore. For me, it's an all-time favorite and a masterful creation. (Slow down, a spray or two of this fragrance is all you need all day. I prefer to spray it on my chest so that the scent spreads as I move and stays a little closer to me).

I finally got my hands on this. If you don't like sweet scents, stay far, far away from this one! It's too sweet! When I first smelled it in the store, I was dizzy with sweetness. Now that I smell it on my skin, I know exactly what that note is; Plum. Beautiful, sweet cashmere. It's not artificial, it smells very natural. I smell a little honey, well blended. The creamy musk comes later and takes the scent to another level. This perfume is NOT for the faint of heart, it is strong and demands attention. I can imagine the sweetness of this can be nauseating, so don't overspray - the sillage is strong and long lasting. 2 sprays is enough. Don't wear this when you don't want to be noticed, because you will be noticed!

The description says Unisex, but as a man I would have a hard time wearing this, it is too feminine for me. But I might want my wife to smell like that. It's too sweet for me. It doesn't smell too much of fruit or honey, it has almost a plum smell and the resins are very well blended. After drying it turns into a nice and cozy woodiness. Even my wife, who usually can't stand the smell of honey, liked it a lot. The scent has clear oriental connotations. Its excellent sillage and longevity may surprise you. Sometimes I can feel it even after taking a shower. It's perfect for fall and winter and will smell great in the club/bar or at a dinner and when wrapped up in knitwear, big coats and boots for a day out in the fall.

I must admit that my expectations were low. In a completely objective interpretation, I must say that this perfume has annoying notes and is way above my tolerance level. Although I love oriental and floral scents, this perfume was a big disappointment for me. It sticks like putty wherever I spray it and has an endless persistence. For some reason, the performance of perfumes I usually dislike is jaw-dropping. Even though I can't wear it myself and the notes in it scratch my nose, I think it would look good on a woman who can carry this perfume. A perfume with a synthetic annoying opening that you should definitely try before buying a big bottle. As much as I like the drydown, on the whole, it's a synthetic and unbeautiful fragrance with a beautiful bottle and infinite performance.
