Sigarilyo Carnival

My Sigarilyo Carnival finally arrived today! I just gave it a few sprays and tested it before I left my review 😆 The opening is the strongest and sweetest part, scentwise. It has this very caramel vanilla whipped cream opening, in reference to the Pinoy carnival vibes. Then overtime the caramel vanilla whipped cream becomes a tad bit softer until what you smell is powdery musky tobacco. In the 4 tobacco offerings of the brand (BGC, Sigarilyo Carnival, Yosi Break, & Yosi Break Kanto Version), this is the 2nd most long lasting with Yosi Break Kanto Version as the 1st. I would also want to add, despite being a heavy sweet scent. This is an unexpected love for me! Kahit hindi kasing versatile ng ibang offerings from the brand. I believe sweet and gourmand lovers should try this as their first buy! I think it is the least tobacco smelling, but still worth owning a full bottle of because the stories it’s trying to tell us perfume users, and being a good standard in the local fragrance scenery. Looking forward to leaving more reviews here of fragrances I like and love, or those I have tried but realized aren’t for me 😊

Definitely my favorite of Pinoy blends from PA, This was the perfume that I first tried during the event in manila which is the fragrance by the bay 2. It really made me crazy over it and bought it right away after they restocked.

Unang amoy ko neto na weirduhan ako sa smell. Strong buttery opening then musky drydown to baby powder (a lot of it?). After letting it sit for a 2 weeks (na may konting spray here and there hehe) parang nagustuan ko na yung scent nya. It smells mature and complex. Still get the buttery opening pero I kinda like how it fuses well with the other scents, I also like how the smell transforms over time to a sweet-ish tobacco-y smell still reminiscent of baby powder.
