I have Oud Wa Ward for a few years now, from the time when I was going through my rose phase and even though I haven’t worn it very often lately, I decided to wear it yesterday. It was a cooler, windier, overcast day and I felt like wearing something strong. I was not wrong about my selection. It’s still one of the most beautiful, feminine and underrated/cheaper, rose forward fragrances from my collection that smells intoxicating. Rich, strong, warm, deep, sweet, jammy rose, pleasant oud and fresh patchouli! Very simple judging by notes but not a simple, boring fragrance in the slightest. Parfums Berdoues have very good quality fragrances, fairly affordable, and depending on the collection, quite long lasting. Why does nobody talks about them it’s beyond me?!?! If you have the chance to try this French brand’s creation, please give it a chance!! It’s a brand that deserves more attention because they create amazing perfumes! As soon as get to France next time,I can’t wait to try their new 2025 summer release, Monoi& Frangipanier, from the 1902 EDT collection.

I feel like I’m floating on a billowing cloud of dense sweet roses as it drifts past a candy factory. Big love. A safe blind buy if you like sweet patchouli scents like Angel/Amen but want it a little more middle eastern. There’s definitely vanilla and burnt sugar notes in this. It smells like it’s in the same family as Lancôme’s Oud Bouquet, Swiss Arabians Shagaf Oud, and Oud Mood with the distinctive oud/Rose, with sweet praline/caramel combination. There are many things that I’ve tried that smell similar but I think this is the smoothest and most wearable version in the group. Performance is great, long lasting yet unobtrusive.

Very nice! A soft and feminine oud scent. Almost inoffensive. Simple but elegant and well blended. A good choice for oud beginners.
