Body Fantasies Iced Cupcake Fantasy

I must completely agree with both reviewers - this is a lovely scent! Although the packaging claims it contains the scent of rich, buttercream frosting, I am not smelling any. Iced Cupcake Fantasy is more like a white cupcake withOUT any icing! That said, I like it very much. :) Also, I sense the slightest touch of strawberry or some other pink note, as though there is the merest drizzle of pink glaze on these little diet cakes. No, this is not as sweet and rich to me as other dessert themed scents. There is a place for both kinds. At first spritz, I thought this scent completely off, a pink smell without much sweetness. But shortly after the fragrance comes into it's own. The overall impression I have is of soft musk and powdery sweetness, and just a hint of wonderful balsamic goodness underneath. Compared to several other body sprays from Body Fantasies, I consider the sillage and longevity to be fairly light on this one. No complaints, however, at this price! I've been wearing several spritzes of Cupcake Fantasy in my hair today, experiencing little whiffs of goodness all day long. OH MY WORD but this is addictive. I also received a lavish complement when a family member hugged me..... Definitely a keeper! This apparently discontinued body spray can still be easily obtained at the Body Fantasies' website. Their selection, I must add, is somewhat enticing! For the price, Highly Recommended.

Back in middle school, I had a habit of drowning myself in this before every class. Without fail, someone would always ask, "who's baking cookies?" or "why does the corridor/classroom smell so good?" and "where is THAT coming from?" Over time though, they all eventually realised that it was just me, yet the compliments kept coming anyway. There was one classmate in particular who kept following me up every single day about it, asking what it was and where she could get it. Me being the arsehole child I was, I gatekept this prized little possession of mine before I even knew what gatekeep meant. So I told her it was the vanilla one, specifically "the one in the tall bottle", from body fantasies 🤭. She was pretty devastated to find out that it smells completely different on her than it does on me 🤭🤭🤭. 10/10 for the smell and memories

This definitely smells almost identical to calgon vanilla swirl. But more surprisingly, I think this smells like Laura mercier creme brulee, a cross between both formulations coincidentally enough. It might smell closer to the old orange sweet pleasant smelling one, but it also resembles the new gray nasty smelling one

So delicious and only $2-$3 at Walmart. I picked two of these up because I saw people say they layer really well with vanilla based perfumes and they are right! So fun and sweet, I sprayed my bed sheets with it. My rating: 10/10 My Boyfriend’s Rating:9/10

It isn't as sugary as I imagined but it's plenty sweet. I don't really get any "frosting" but more of the cake itself. It won't be cloying. Like a vanilla cupcake with a dash of lemon? or something a little tart. And there is musk. I think if you do not like musk, you may not like this. Anywho... For a body spray, this one is quite strong. Stronger than some EDT's. Not sure how long it will last, I sprayed some on my skin and some on my shirt. Anyway I smell delicious & I didn't have to buy a perfume to satisfy my craving...

It definitely smells like a sugary vanilla cupcake. Not so much icing but like the actual cake bread itself (as another reviewer mentioned too). Very sweet and delicious. I have to say it smells very similar to "Pink Vanilla Kiss Fantasy" from the same line. This is a scent for gourmand lovers. It's long lasting with pretty good sillage for a body spray. This one is hard to find but they have them at Big Lot stores. I recommend this body spray if you are a fan of gourmands!

my first gourmand. the one that started it all. i still enjoy it - it's warm and inviting freshly baked cupcakes with buttercream frosting, though theres definitely a slightly artificial undertone thats hard to describe. still, its a solid perfume, especially for the price point. on me it usually lasts 4-5 hours and radiates about arms length, and it is buildable. a staple in my collection, and will continue to be.

Like the Signature Vanilla, this thang is gud 4 layering and is sold at an unbeatable price point. I luv these lil Body Fantasies gourmands so much...from my experience, they can rlly help the longevity of other fragrances I luv. This one does smell a lil synthetic 2 me but it's nothing unbearable, as the main notes I get are a buncha creamy and sugary goodnesssss.

Gentle, girly and very innocent, sweet comforting cupcake with a coconutty vibe/warmth to it, great for warmer weather and reminds me a bit of SDJ62, not similiar but same DNA i guess.

I frequently find this at big lots. I bought it from Walmart for a few dollars in 11th grade in 08 bc I needed a daily body spray and this was affordable and did the trick, and it was a big bottle. It smelled good, I liked it at the time. I used to spray it on my love notes lol. I bought it again in 2016 and kept it for a while but rarely reached for it so I gave it to a friend. It did the job a vanilla/musk body spray is supposed to do. Doesn't last super long on skin and clothes so it's something you have to keep in your bag. But if you need an affordable vanilla spray, this one is an option!

I fell in love with the fragrance when I got it. It smells more powdery/musky and sugary with a nice touch of vanilla It lasted more on my clothes than on my skin This imprinted the feeling of snow without freezing in my head. I would give it a 10 After a few weeks of this beautiful fragrance it started to smell bad, the perfume became sour and alcoholic and those lovely notes were all gone, it wasn't even close to being expired 😭 "the honeymoon phase was over and broke my heart"💔 It is not a long-term body mist

This exact iteration of the scent is long discontinued, but Body Fantasies came out with the scent "Cupcake Swirl" about a year ago and I think more recent reviews may have been about that one instead because it isn't on Fragrantica yet. I never smelled Iced Cupcake Fantasy when it was called that so I can't compare the two and I posted the newer BF scents in the missing fragrance thread a couple of times only for them to never be added, so this review will also be about Cupcake Swirl. I get more coconut than anything else. It's a very synthetic coconut cake scent that was far too strong and nauseatingly sweet for me, at least during the summer months. I'll need to fish it out of my storage container and try it again in winter, will report back. ETA: I really tried to give it a fair shot but the cold weather makes it only slightly less gross. The clove and ginger notes don't really belong there IMO and ruin the entire experience. I imagine it's pretty difficult to mess up a vanilla cupcake scent but they managed to do it. Longevity is excellent though, I'll give them that.

For a body spray, this lovely packs a punch... The Parfums de Coeur line has always been one of my faves in body sprays because they seem to last on my skin... Iced Cupcake Fantasy is not a cloying type of sweet, but it IS sweet...The aroma wafting from the crook of my arm and my wrist is like the inviting aroma that hovers in the air when one is baking a lovely white cake...The vanilla, cupcake and musk are balanced, and that hit of sugar is a bonus... If I have to pick one note that is singing the loudest in this sweet little harmony, I'd have to say it's the musk...Mmmm! This is a sweet treat for anyone who loves gourmand scents for the price of a song...

@Chérie’s diary I had the same phenomenon happen to me with the vanilla body fantasies, when I bought I was more than obsessed and used almost my whole full size bottle in 3 weeks, however, the amount left I noticed started to change the scent into an unbearable disgusting scent and I had to throw it away which felt like such a waste :( Nothing like the addicting edible vanilla scent I first got.... I had it for less than a month so it was so unfortunate and ever since then I’ve been staying away from this brand since their formulas seem unstable.

sooo sweet and cute, it turns into a light scent that lasts on ur clothes for hours and u can smell lil wafts of it for the whole day. it’s not like a sexy gourmand its more of a comforting gourmand, like cookies, but it also has a hint of coconut, not a screechy sunscreen coconut but more of a smooth sweet coconut. btw this review is about iced cupcake fantasy, the one listed above, not the new one cuz that isn’t available in my country lol

What is this !!! A failed blind buy if I may say. Very watered down scent that gives the slightest resemblance to body fantasies vanilla spray. No cake note detectable at least for me. It smells of something sweet, get it for the a cheap price but don't let anyone trick you into paying an overprice for it :) could be a nice room spray!! Yeah, not impressed

This review is for Cupcake Swirl, not Iced Cupcake Fantasy. To me, this smells very similar to Sol Cheirosa ‘62, very sweet and warm. I get vanilla and caramel. So far it’s strong for a body spray. This pairs amazingly with EOS Vanilla Cashmere lotion if you want to smell like a literal snack. Mmm.

I can’t post the link but they finally added the actual cupcake swirl. They have body fantasies under two different entities on here. I think parfums de coeur is the actual company or parent company. But we can put our reviews under cupcake swirl now.

Smells so yummy! I tried smelling it from the bottle at Family Dollar and accidentally spilled a little on myself so I ended up buying it and I love it. Last about 5h on my skin. I can't wait to layer this with other fragrances this winter.
