Body Fantasies Signature Coconut Fantasy

listen, this thing is an absolute banger of a body spray. it's creamy, it's a little bit fruity, and it leaves a tropical trail of goodness wherever i go. the coconut is heavy and sweet but never overwhelming with the floral notes to keep her balanced. the pineapple and starfruit are there and work in harmony with the coconut but after drying down they disappear from me.....how i long for them....but it's all good because i just spray again and BAM there they are once more. although i do find the pineapple sticks out a lot more when i spray some of this on my clothing. longevity is not the best and only lasts a few hours on skin- i've already gone thru so much juice in just one day unfortunately. however it is very cheap and easily found in my local dollar store so no worries. i like to spray some on my hands to run thru my hair as the scent surrounds me like a comforting bubble and gets carried on the wind as i walk around<3 this is also pretty good for layering as it's not too strong to overpower another body spray or fragrance of your choosing and i find when layered it's longevity is improved just a little !

I bought a bottle yesterday at CVS (BOGO sale!). I have been looking for a perfume that smells strictly of sweet coconut, no other notes. This is not that, but I love it anyways! The coconut note is dominant, and is quite sweet and delicious (like opening a bag of sweetened coconut flakes used in baking). I do get a light floral touch and a warm woody aroma in the dry down, but this is about an "85% coconut" fragrance. As with many Body Fantasies scents, Coconut Fantasy needs overapplication to achieve a long-lasting effect with good sillage. UPDATE: My guy told me this smells like a "tropical scented sunscreen", which is not necessarily a bad thing. If you want a scent which smells like suntan lotion but is sweeter than Jennifer Lopez Glow, this could be a good choice!

First I felt like it was too sweet and synthetic but I immediately got used to it and absolutely loved it. It opens up with a tropical fruity coconut scent, you get the pineapple and carambola quite a lot at first. It dries down to a beautiful creamy coconut milk. Very simple yet such a comforting scent. Overall you can expect to get pretty much whatever listed in the notes, no surprises. The longevity and sillage are good for a body mist, it will get you through a few hours. Apparently it performs well because I received some compliments while wearing it! It’s pretty sweet but not cloying, if you want a yummy tropical lactonic coconut for a very cheap price, you’ll like this one. I definitely LOVE and recommend, will be using this quite a lot this summer!

LOVELY cheapie. I'd be genuinely upset if there comes a time when I won't be able to find this anymore. this is just such an uplifting and energizing scent, perfect for a casual hot summer's day. to me, the pineapple and starfruit are actually the main stars of the show here. the coconut to my nose is more in the background. It's a super fruity, sweet, creamy, and well-blended fragrance. unfortunately, the longevity isn't the best (does perform much better in hot weather though) but I don't mind over-spraying since even the large-size bottles are affordable for me.

This is my personal favorite out of the Body Fantasies line. It really sticks to my clothes. A pretty straightforward scent. It's so summery and 2000s / fugiter aero coded to me. It's coconutty in the same way coconut oil is, but it also has hints of musk, aquatic hints hidden in there and sweet syrupy tropical fruitiness. It reminds me of coconut scented shampoo or conditioner in the best way possible. This is definitely a go to of mine for the summer but works for all year round for coconut scent lovers such as myself. Can't wait to wear her to the beach!

It's a dollar g cheapie, I keep trying to find coconut scents but from what I've tried none last, so I grabbed this in the checkout line thinking I could layer it. It smells like fresh coconut. Spayed myself and could still smell it a couple hours later when I went to bed. I sprayed my car interior and it was lushious when I opened the door this morning. I'll probably grab a couple back ups, it makes me happy and only $3, it's awesome to freshen the air around you though I probably wouldn't wear it on my skin too often.

If you are looking for a scent that has a tropical smell and coconut but you dont want it to be like overwhelming this scent is for you. I was looking for a coconut scent but when coconut is too powerful it overwhelms me. I thought i can give this a chance and im glad i did it. If you’re like me JUST TRY IT YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED!! It can be your signature scent

Been wearing this off and for many years in the summer! On me it’s a yummy coconut that has a faint aquatic and fruity vibe but still very coconut. Great to wear on it’s own or for layering with other fragrances. Sillage is moderate and longevity is a medium light in me and honestly I’d reapply anyway on hot humid days it smells so good.

Wow, this is so pretty. It’s the perfect summertime gourmand—sweet while maintaining a freshness that embodies the season’s essence. It’s reminiscent of Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa 39, just without the super nutty facets that may be overbearing to some. You can find it at pretty much any dollar store for around $3. Seems like a steal to me!

I LOVE!!!! Fruity, sweet and lactonic all at once. Smells like what i would imagine dole whip to smell like. Very pineapple heavy at first but then dries down to this coconutty milk. edit: it smells more like a fruit juice now... but i still like it for summer and probably would repurchase!!!

Is this a natural coconut like Phlur's Coconut Skin? Furthest thing from it! This is a candy-like coconut that just smells like sweet goodness. It is quite an immature and youthful scent, which is something that I do not mind at all. Great price, but does not last long.

Creamy coconut that smells amazing and delicious on me. When it dries down it leaves me with this coconut floral cream that sticks around for a whiiiile. Love it love it.

Definitely a good budget fragrance! I get a nice, balanced and well-rounded coconut along with gentle floral touches. There's fruit, but I don't smell anything in particular...it's a general fruitiness, and quite pleasant. It kind of does smell a lot like a lot of B&BW fragrances, or Bodycology, etc. You can almost imagine how this would smell if you look at the notes, and you'd probably be pretty close to the real thing. No surprises, it's just a simple tropical spray. Longevity? What longevity?...This little bottle us one you should carry in a holster for constant reapplication because it's extremely fleeting (well...there's a soft, almost sunscreen-y skin scent that lingers, but you need to literally have your nose on it to smell it). However, that's alright, it's so affordable and if it's hot out, it feels good to re-up with a summery frag 🥥 🌴

I can't seem to help but fall in love with every coconut scent I get in my hands these days. But I have to say I don't mind at all. I wasn't expexting a lot from this one, since it's so rarely that I like any body spray type of scents. Also, I wasn't at all sure about the fruity notes, orchid and teak wood together with the coconut. How would they ever do nicely together? Was this going to be some sort of an overly sweet fruity Escada summer scent clone? No it wasn't. This is a very happy, fresh, bright and fruity coconut scent, with a perfect amount of sweetness in it. Nothing too serious, but just a perfect tropical coconut, and a gorgeous happy summer scent to indulge in, relax and forget all your worries with.

If you've followed my reviews, you'll notice that I go through phases where I am back on the Coconut hunt! I love the smell of fresh coconut and really love it in certain perfumes. I sprayed this while at Walgreens and was quite surprised that this is one of the better versions of coconut that I have smelled. This is not so over powering when first sprayed and it doesn't go through any awkward stages. I will have to sample this more, so far - so good. This has been on about 2 hours now, this is sweet and smells exactly like opening a fresh coconut. This would probably be a great perfume to layer with other perfume favorites, particularly linear perfumes that just need a spritz of something more.

For all the high-end and iconic perfumes that I own, sometimes there's nothing better than a good old Body Fantasies. This is my go-to for beach days, when I don't want to commit to a complex scent that might not play well with layers of sunscreen and potential sweat from spending a day under the sun; a perfectly generic coconut scent that blends seamlessly with sunscreen smell, sand, salt and general beach vibe. It is pretty straightforward, unidimensional, and relatively long lasting without being overpowering. A cheapie that I picked up at CVS like 8 years ago is still going strong.

I bought this to experiment with layering some tropical coconuttiness into some fragrances that are lacking a little something. It's winter here so I haven't used it much, but it's like that tropical coconutty scent that I'm always looking for in a sunscreen, like how Hawaiian Tropic used to smell. It is obviously not super sophisticated, but it's FUN and I feel like I'll get a lot of mileage out of this just kicking around in the summer.

Super affordable and has a nice simple creamy coconut smell that reminds you of sunscreen, coconut popsicles and your friend that always smells really good. Its much more lactonic than I expected? A very creamy scent in my opinion, I'm not getting any fruit. The initial spray smelled odd, but the dry down is very pleasant!

Pretty good pineapple-coconut scent. It's not as yummy as Born in Paradise by Escada or Aussie shampoos, and the coconut notes are more like coconut water than coconut creme. But if you want something light, fruity, and woody, this is a nice body spray.

I keep this around all the time. I get more coconut from this than the other notes listed, also find it longer lasting than BBW's mists and the price is right! I have several mists from the Body Fantasies line, they're great for layering too

This no longer smells like it used to. I have an old bottle and you can smell every note in perfect harmony... I went to repurchase a new bottle and I no longer smell pineapple in the opening and no coconut until much later on. Pity.

Disgusting. Fake plastic coconut scented hair spray. Tried once and immediately threw out my bottle. Doesn’t project at all, disappears in 30 minutes, thank goodness because it really gives me the worst headache. Putting on suntan lotion will give you a better, stronger, and more realistic coconut scent. I don’t see the point in this product at all. Alcohol, water, maybe 5 drops of fragrance in the entire 8oz bottle.

I used to wear this all the time maybe around 2018 and it was nice and cute, but after finishing one of two bottles I thought I'd put it aside and wear "proper" perfumes. Fast forward to now and I've been especially drawn to coconut fragrances, and have gotten back to this body spray, and I can't really fault it. It's simple, yes, a pretty linear, tropical, sweet, fruity coconut, but it works great, and I feel like the pineapple/carambola share the prime spot just as much as the coconut (whereas some coconut fragrances have it more as second fiddle to smooth things out). I'm surprised it doesn't perform as well for other people, since I live in the tropics and this projects pretty well and stays on really for most of the day (note I spray on clothes). For a body spray, compared to some of my other "proper perfumes," it's a pretty great fragrance.

I'm going back to get this tmro morning from family Dollar. I went in there and got the body fantasy night musk which is also outstanding. Earlier I put the coconut fantasies back because I didn't like the "pina colada" opening. But when I got in my car it was the most beautiful pure natural coconut smell I ever smelled! Usually coconut scents are too pineapeally or boozy Hawaiian white ginger type smell I can't stand. But this is coconut and with a vanilla dry down yet the coconut is still sitting at the top. I love it and going to get a bottle thank goodness they had like 4 of them left for $3. Body fantasies is the bomb and is hanging in there and sometimes better than bath& body works and more accessible at lower prices!

this review is for ocean mist which im pretty sure is the same scent as this listing just with a different name. this scent is cool (not cold! just cool) & sweet like a waiting room candy bowl. there’s an open-aired element that will transport you to a calm beach at a point where there’s no sun in the sky, it’s not pitch black or anything but everything is just shades of indigo. it reminds me of armani acqua di gioia, however where ADG is a smooth intersection of refreshing/energizing, this scent is the smooth intersection of refreshing/cooling. I want to eventually try everything from this line, but i have a feeling I’ve already found my favorite scent.

I have to admit, i'm very finicky when it comes to coconut scents. I absolutely adore coconut, and one of my favorite coconut scents is Exotic coconut by bath and body works. I also really love 21 Black by rue 21. Unfortunately, I can't really seem to like this scent. I think that maybe it has something to do with my chemistry because I smell this out of the bottle and it's not bad, but as soon as I put it on, it's horrible. I don't know if it's a specific note that bothers me, but when this is on my skin it smells almost like cat pee. I really wish it didn't becuase I love body fantasies body sprays, they are affordable and good quality.

Ever since I got BBW's AT THE BEACH, I'm no longer scared to try coconut scents. I have this one my arm from testing it about an hour ago at the drug store....and I must have it! The opening is to be ignored because it turned me off with that sharp pineapple. Just wait for the dry down people, just wait, warm lovely coconut, vanilla and a hint of musk. I'm currently inhaling the skin off my wrist, truly a natural coconut scent. How come these cheap brands get the coconut note so right? Second favorite coconut after AT THE BEACH. It's wonderful, and the packaging has been changed, they put more coconuts on it, it's very cute!

This is a tropical coconut. Sweet, woody, creamy. I get no pineapple but i get the starfruit. The sillage is huge. I put one spray on my hand and from the other room my mom said " wow you smell good. Thats coconut!" . I love layering this with BBW At the beach. The lime ,salt and coconut layered with creamy coconut, vanilla and woods makes the combination smell like Tom Ford soliel blanc.. I love it. It layers great with intense tiare as well. It's worth having. It's so cheap And smells yummy.

Actually a perfect coconut scent. It reminds me of frosted coconut snowball, but more summery & possibly some pineapple in there. Very sweet, creamy milky coconut. It’s seriously amazing I love it! Edit: after smelling my coconut scents side by side with this one, fresh coconut colada is the most similar. The hibiscus note in fresh coconut colada stops me from loving that scent, but this is everything I wanted that scent to be.

This is my signature and has been for awhile. Excellent sillage which is very important to me and smells like coconut with some kind of warmth. I even smell vanilla which Im surprised isnt a note as I love anything to do with vanilla and thought that was why I liked it lol the dry down is the beauty I love it a fresh young scent. People always comment on it which is great for such a cheap body spray.

I was looking for coconut, I got disgusting pineapple and nothing else. Do not buy if you are looking for a coconut scent. I got a rash by the way and was very disgusted...This ought to be called Pineapple Fantasy instead, fruity tropical pineapple.

I love coconut in a more fresh way even sweet...just this has a heavy stick note i don't like..it maybe the pineapple...this has a sweaty musky feel...not a good coconut even for a body spray~

Had a friend that ALWAYS wore this. Love it! It was her signature scent. Now I’m trying to look for a coconut signature scent of my own!

This is extremely artificial smelling and way too sweet. Very cloying and smells like butter
