Body Fantasies Signature Japanese Cherry Blossom

Springtime in Tokyo... This is a nice & fresh Japanese cherry-blossom scent, with a soft near-aromatic hiss over a fresh, fruity-floral cherry. Rose helps to expand the floral facets, while amber in the base holds everything together for longer than expected for a body spray. I haven't smelt real cherry blossoms, or the difference between real cherry-blossom and real Japanese cherry-blossom, but this is a little richer with an additional faint near-pineapple note as compared with regular Cherry Blossom scents I've smelt. There's also a faint shampoo vibe running alongside. Overall I do picture a cherry blossom tree in the sunshine. Contrast to Calgon Japanese Cherry Blossom (not on this website yet): These are different, but there is a similar vibe with cherry blossom and the longer they're on the skin the more similar they become. Calgon Japanese Cherry Blossom & Body Fantasies Japanese Cherry Blossom both have an additional note that reads like faint pineapple, but Body Fantasies Japanese Cherry Blossom is just slightly richer and outperforms. Contrast to Bodycology Cherry Blossom: These are different, but again a similar vibe with cherry blossom, and the longer they're on the skin the more similar they become. The Bodycology Cherry Blossom has a more forward aquatic facet - more like a cherry blossom tree in the rain, while Body Fantasies Japanese Cherry Blossom is richer with a faint near-pineapple note and amber and more similar to Calgon Japanese Cherry Blossom overall that are like cherry blossom trees in the sunshine. Body Fantasies Japanese Cherry Blossom outperforms both Bodycology Cherry Blossom and Calgon Japanese Cherry Blossom. Overall: This is a nicely rounded & sunny cherry-blossom scent, with a little more depth than I was expecting and excellent performance for a body spray. This would wear well in springtime. Enjoy!

I've used this body mist for years now and I love it. On my skin it's not the flowery sweet scent that some describe. On me it turnes in to this beautiful cherry tree in bloom, complete with the flowers and the branches and the tree sap. It's an amazing woody amber floral scent that I most enjoy at night. In the drydown it has some slightly felt synthetic notes, like plastic or acetone, I can't quite wrap my head around it, this normaly bothers me but in this combination I quite enjoy it because it gives a nother lear of depth. Fully recomend this scent, the price is great, the quality is great and the scent you get is unique and amazing.

I like this cherry blossom scent quite a bit. To me, it’s simpler, softer and sweeter than the BBW version of Japanese Cherry Blossom. It is missing that slightly masculine woodsy note that the BBW version has. It’s also less sweet than the regular Cherry Blossom from BBW. I find this one to be soft, simple, and mildly powdery, which may be the amber coming through. I even find it to be very slightly soapy at times. Being a body mist, its surprisingly potent at the start, but quickly fades. Lasts about an hour, maybe 90 minutes, before you have to reapply. Very inexpensive compared to BBW, and just as good, in my opinion.

Cherry Blossom is nothing to write home about when sprayed on paper, but when applied to skin it transforms into something quite appealing. I get a cold fresh cherry blossom soap. Not too sweet or too sharp and gently musky, this is a refreshing and soothing body mist for when you're still dealing with cool weather and want something soapy but not too heavy.

I have the EDT that I found at Walmart for very cheap! That is a wonder in and of itself! I love love love bargains. Thats all I have to say goodbye. Ha ha! Just kiddin'.... This fragrance is absolutely wonderful!!! So gently sweet and inviting. Yummy and beautiful!

I had fallen in love with this mist. It's Fresh at first then after an hour it is just amber. I love how it makes me feel when I smell this on me. I bought 3 bottles of it but now I can't find it unfortunately.

I got this as a Christmas gift in a kit probably 5 years ago. I've been obsessed with it since. It mixes so well with all my other perfumes. Just wish it was a 'parfum' and not a body spray.

Another nice scent from this brand It's soft and pretty,simple and feminine ,delicately sweet musky floral,that's all I can say about it.drydown is a tad soapy,in a good and clean way I can't put finger on specific florals that I detect.cherry blossom blended with something overall flowery/slightly rosey/slightly powdery It's really nice-smelling as a very affordable body spray.since it's not too much sweet or overly fruity it would be good for all ages I have very long lasting body fantasies and it's not one of them.still It's staying power is good for what it is.stays at least 4 hours and very close to my skin as a soft,pretty floral,very safe and nice The fact that it's airy and light weighted makes it a good choice for spring and summer wear.but as it dries down it warms up and gets a tad powdery so it goes from a cold and refreshing opening to a warm and soothing drydown. If you very allergic to perfumes and you want something nice smelling that won't trigger your migrens or asma it can be a good choice ❤❤❤

A lovely light cherry blossom classic. Out here in the desert it is absolutely fantastic in the intense heat of summer. Would you like a stronger blossom scent? She layers great with others, like Elizabeth Arden's Green Tea Cherry Blossom, BBW's Japanese Cherry Blossom, and Avon's Haiku Kyoto Flowers (Intense too). A slightly green light pink floral fragrance that is just delicate and pleasant. Spritz on after your shower and then add your layer to your clothes and you're set for a bright sunny day. Body Fantasy scents are so affordable you can feel okay layering away.

This scent is quite a bit lighter and brighter than the version from Bath and Body Works. I would describe it as a lightly sweet, airy, slightly exotic feminine floral/oriental, with the emphasis on floral. Longevity is decent with generous application, while the sillage is pretty much a "skin scent". This is a good choice for an everyday warm weather perfume, and is also suitable for the office.

I had this when it was sold in a tinny, slim aerosol can (maybe it still is in some places?), and in that format it smelled exactly like the pink Dove beauty bar/soap, which is to say that it's fresh and a smidge powdery. The florals are little bit ambiguous, as is probably expected for this price point. Very deodorant-like, so much so that it earned a compliment from my perfume-loathing mother.

Idk if I got a bad bottle, but this is awful. It smells like the reformulated Bath & Body works version they have now, a former shell of the original sweet and spicy, almost cinnamon like concoction. This one oddly enough also has a note of cigarette smoke. The old version by body fantasies I swear didn't smell like this, either. Maybe I got a bad bottle. I tried but I can't stand it.

bought it at a convenience store, super affordable. strong alcohol scent at first but dries down nicely on my skin. lingers for 3+ hours. more of a skin scent to me. reminds me of the one from BBW but without the sandalwood and more of the sweet/floral. nothing special but nothing to complain about either ^_^

Really enjoy this one now, Its very rosy with a powder dry down . I had previously hated it, ( I think I got an old bottle ). It does smell like bright crystal. and I love that they have travel purse size for only $1. Lovely floral scent

this scent reminds me of being 14 and showering myself in this so my dad wouldn't smell the cigarettes on me. it's very floral, fresh, and clean. not something i would wear as an adult, but i could see it working for others!

For how cheap it is, it’s alright. It doesn’t last long, but cherry blossom as a note is pretty light anyway. You get what you pay for.

A less peppery version of JCB from B&BW. It's okay, super alcohol-y.

This isn't something I gravitate to, but I did spray it recently in Walmart to refresh my opinion on the matter. If you're familiar with Japanese Cherry Blossom from B&BW, it's possible that you'll expect the same from this. However, this is significantly fresher and less brash. I truly find B&BW's version off-putting in it's uniquely floral explosion...but this is more contained. B&BW's is so heady, that it's difficult for me to even be around, but it's not so with this. Still, cherry blossom doesn't tend to be something I like in any capacity usually (maybe if it were blended amongst other things, or not the primary note). This is simply a warm floral, and a soliflore as far as I'm concerned. If you enjoy cherry blossom, you'll probably like this, I think it's safe. It wears somewhat intimately, and it lasts better than some of the other Body Fantasies. I personally think most people have at least one floral tone that doesn't agree with them (there are people vocal about hating jasmine, tuberose, carnations and violets...for some common examples). CB is my personal problem flower (heck, I don't even like CB La Croix to drink). So, take my review with a grain of salt. You might love this, objectively it isn't bad, and it's super affordable! 😉

i couldnt STAND this one. i sprayed it a few times and hated it, it was too fruity and sweet for me. i emptied the bottle in the sink and washed it out to reuse for other perfumes that dont come in a spray bottle.

On my skin, this is sweet, sour, and powdery (cherry blossom). It's also somewhat animalic. For some reason, I'm associating this fragrance with cold months - I'm guessing it's the "cherry" in the cherry blossom.

if you're wanting a dupe of B&BW's Japanese Cherry Blossom, this isn't it. this is B&BW's regular Cherry Blossom. or close enough. my mom loves that scent, and she likes this one, too.

Would be good to spray on at bedtime after a shower. Lovely cherry blossom scent with no longevity or sillage, unfortunately.

Has a weird sweaty undertone had to destash

this on first spray has an extremely bitter smell it's almost nauseating. but as it dries down it's a nice amber with some florals. ultimately eh but ok for the price.

I got this in a sample pack for my daughter, who loves the Bath & Body Works Japanese Cherry Blossom. I actually think this is nicer and fresher. I find the BBW one has a really powerful musk but this one is pretty, fresh and sweet, but not overly so. The weird thing is that, last week, I was trying to see if anyone could recommend a perfume that smelled like Teen Spirit Romantic Rose, which was a deodorant I loved in the mid 90s. It was a really pretty, sweet rose and powder scent and people would ask me what perfume I was wearing when I wore it, but I didn't come up with anything. As I'm smelling the drydown on this JapaneseCherryBlossom, I realize it smells a lot like I remember Romantic Rose smelling. So I might just keep this one and let my daughter have the other three scents from the sample pack 🤣

My absolute favorite of the body fantasies line. I had over sprayed this at work one time and I was asked if I was wearing Versace Crystal? Well I was very flattered considering that I had only spent $7 USD on this spray and I can ill afford Versace Crystal let alone a Versace cubic zirconium...if they ever decided to cater for the masses like me. Anyway, this is great. I can't tell you how a Japanese cherry blossom smells but this smells like flowers and musk and a little sweetness. It long lasting and projects well. Great value for money.

This is my absolute favourite mist for years! Whenever I am very casual in tshirt and jeans, I love to use this one. But I could easily see this body mist as a perfume choice for even formal occasions. At first I can smell plums, later it becomes musky vanilla with flowers (rose, cherry blossom). The dry down is beautiful and it doesn't smell cheap like other body sprays do. Highly sugest if you are on budget right now. It's perfect for spring. The correct notes: Raspberry, pear, plum Cherry blossom, rose, jasmine Vanilla, sandalwood, musk

This smells very close to BBW Japanese Cherry Blossom. This one just has a little more musk to my nose. I like them both. This has a cherry, sandalwood, floral vibe. Its kinda vintagy smelling. Its very grown up and sensual. It could be worn anytime, however it shines at night. For the price, it smells a lot more expensive than it it. If you like BBW Japanese Cherry Blossom, you will like this. Good sillage and stays on quite long. Convenient plastic bottle to throw in your purse.

This is probably my favorite of the Body Fantasies collection by Parfums de Coeur. A might less woody than the Japanese Cherry Blossom at B&BW (which I also love), this is a powdery, musky cherry blossom that evolves into a soft sweet floral that's so perfect in winter. It lasts a respectable 4 hours on me--not bad for a $1 body spray (and it's a mini, too, so you can refresh yourself in the middle of the day). I wish there was an EDP version of this; PdC, get on it!

Smells very oriental and exotic. Just imagine you're walking through cherry blossom trees in japan on a bridge with water flowing underneath. JK that's just what I got from this scent. The old bottles used to smell REPULSIVE... Then it got a glow-up and the newly packaged bottles are AMAZING! Of course, NOT EVERYONE WILL LIKE THIS. Oh, and please don't buy based off of reviews this is just what I got from the scent.

I used to love this scent in 9th grade, i thought it smelled so good and its definitely because it was a different batch. When i had it in 9th grade it was definitely alot more fresher and clean but recently i rebought this scent and it definitely doesn't smell the same, like obviously theres that cherry blossom scent but then again it also has a powdery note?? It smells like baby powder

I truly adore this JCB body spray, mostly because I'm a whore for fresh springy florals but I have an 8oz bottle of an older formulation. It's so strong for a body mist, lingers on fabrics and in hair for 48+ hours. It's got the perfect balance between freshness and some great anchoring basenotes. Not to mention this scent is beyond nostalgic. ..Love ❤️

Well aren't you a big surprise in such a small bottle :) this smells gorgeous, probably one of the best florals I've smelt (no honestly) even though it's a body spray I'm hooked already, I picked up 1 of these but I'm definitely going back to buy at least another 3. Inexpensive with a rich smell, now that's a win!

This is the sweetest least mature cherry blossom fragrance I have. It smells a lot like cotton candy actually, mixed with some cherry blossom. It's quite different from BBW cherry blossom which is more woody, and calgon cherry blossom which is more powdery and floral, аnd slightly more mature and well balanced.

Japanese Cherry Blossom and Fresh White Musk are my favourite mists. Both smell fresh and clean and not overpowering. I would recommend if you prefer lighter airy scents❤️
