Body Fantasies Signature Strawberry

I've long been searching for the "perfect" strawberry scent, or berry scented perfumes in general, but this cheap, drug store buy seems to be the best. Like most cheap body sprays, it has that dry, almost aerosol smell at first, but give it a few moments on your body and you'll get that truly summer ripe strawberry scent that'll take you back to your childhood. The kind of strawberry that's sugary sweet, like the taste found in chewing gum or in a jolly rancher, with (as stated previously from another reviewer) a hint of watermelon, which is just fine by me. You can find it sold at the Parfums de Couer website for a reasonable amount of money, although I find my bottles at my local Kmart.

I found out this summer that Body Fantasies has discontinued this fragrance! NOoooo! I am very disappointed because it's my favorite BF fragrance and it's been around for a long while. For strawberry scent fans, it's a keeper.

Found this super randomly at Grocery Outlet in the old circa-2000s packaging (!!!!) along with Vanilla, Raspberry Fantasy and Twilight Mist. I looked at the expiration date thinking the bottle was surely at least 20 years old but nope, it expires in the 2020s and certainly doesn't smell old! The ingredients are listed in English and Arabic while the BF fragrances I've gotten from Walmart list them in English and French so maybe the bottle shape is a regional difference. Other reviewers are correct in saying this is simultaneously a candy-like and shampoo-like strawberry. It's pretty sweet but in a light and fresh way. There is a slight touch of a green note like the one in Sun-Ripened Raspberry/Raspberry Fantasy but it isn't nearly as strong. I'm not usually too keen on strawberry fragrances but I like this one!

Sun warmed, juicy strawberries. Not photo realistic ( hardly to be expected at this price point ) but still quite fun. Yes, this reminds me of the strawberry candy, strawberry scented fingernail polish, and strawberry lipcare of childhood! Con: There is an unfortunate watermelon note in the first few minutes of this fragrance; shortly after Signature Strawberry becomes exactly what it says. Pro: Oh my is this stuff STRONG and long lasting. And you can always use it as air freshener if it doesn't meet your requirements for personal fragrance. :) Juicy, warm, and delightful..... Very enjoyable!

Really smells like strawberries, juvenile and playful. Wear it when I just wanna feel fresh and sweet after a shower. A good scent but doesn't project or is long lasting.
