first off, im a man that wears anything i like. i get the whole "wedding day perfume" concept but anything orange blossom has my name written all over it. this is so elegant. it has the sweetness and allure of YSL Libre Le Parfum but the airyness and freshness of the neroli, jasmine, and pear cut through the heady sweetness and really make this perfume well rounded. then comes the dry down; the gourmand touch of vanilla cake comes through and just turns this scent into a whole new beast. for me, that cake note is so tantalizing that i find myself trying to catch extra whiffs as i move around. it is just that good. very beautiful and luxurious packaging (this bottle is so iconic). i have no notes

I love this fragrance! It reminds me of Slvt Elixir by ATH in the way that the sweetness is there but it's not a sugar shock sweetness, rather an enveloping one that just keep getting more addicting the more one smells it. I get the jasmine slightly, as well as the pear, not so much the orange blossom which I am grateful for because at times it can get too indolic. The drydown on my skin gives me a gorgeous vanilla intertwined with some really nice woody notes that gives it depth and elegance. My nose also gets musk on the dry down, and it stays during the entire wear, which gives it a soft vibe that is just AMAZING! I will repurchase this over and over and over and over.

Illusio is something that if I wear it, I can't stop smelling myself in the best way! It's sweet and beautiful and the white florals wrap you in a sensual sexy hug. It's romantic and an excellent wedding fragrance. I would say this is absolutely feminine and a safe blind buy. It's a gorgeous year round, romantic first date to wedding day with your soul mate fragrance. I love it with my whole heart. Daniel hit a home run with this one.

This was a blind buy and I expected it to be great but oh my god it’s BEAUTIFUL!! Such a perfect presentation for this magical juice. I am 55 and have no desire to get married but this would be the scent I’d wear if that ever changed. But since I don’t see that happening I’m going to wear this fragrance and feel beautiful just for me.

I'm so in love with this fragrance, it reminds me of Petra by lataffa but softer. It was on my wish list for a long time and I finally got it yesterday and wearing it today at work. I LOVE ILLÚSIO :)

Omg what can I say about Illusio? She is gorgeous. Sweet but not overbearing. Long lasting. Great herself or with layering. Price is worth every scent. I have 3 bottles of her. I can’t get enough.

This fragrance is the shinning star of his line of fragrances. Fresh sweet clean floral all wrapped in a beautiful package. It's niche but mass appealing. All th OOOOFFFFFFs!

This is a unisex scent, I know of quite a few males that wear this in the office. It’s perfect for daytime and shines in spring. A stunning fragrance

One spray, and from across the room my husband says “oh that’s a good one!” He hardly ever compliments my perfumes. This truly is gorgeous.

This is my absolute favorite fragrance from Daniel. I wear it as often as possible!

At first it wasn’t for me, but over time I grew to love it. I do think it smells like Prada Paradoxe but better. I’m not a fan of the original Paradoxe which is probably why Illusio put me off in the beginning but the dry down is so pretty. I sprayed it on my receipt to test it and could smell it 4 days later. You don’t need much to get excellent protection or longevity. My only gripe with it is that the bottle should have been white to mirror the bright and sweet profile of the fragrance. This could be an excellent perfume for a spring (maybe even summer) wedding.

I do admit I gave into to the hype for this fragrance. I am not an orange Blossom lover, so that was actually good because I don’t really get that much on skin. I get more of the pear, vanilla & cake. I do like, but it’s subtle. I think interplay of the mild floral and gourmand here are quite beautiful, not overpowering. I actually think I get a bit of PDM Athénaïs but more sweet.

Smells exactly like Prada paradoxe intense without the sillage.

Not what I expected and not in a good way. Paid wayyyy to much. This fragrance is FAR from Niche.

The creator of this fragrance was on live directing his followers to leave positive reviews for this fragrance as well as his other fragrances in order to boost the ratings on fragrantica. Unfortunately any reviews left today cannot be taken at face value. Accepting negative reviews and the fact that some people may not like your fragrance is part of being a perfume creator. Soliciting reviews should be against community standards as it inhibits the users ability to find honest, unbiased reviews.

Who’s the nose behind this masterpiece? Oh, wait — the same guy who loves throwing poo at Francis for “making dupes,” while he himself is busy desperately remixing Prada Paradoxe, Kilian LDBS, or basically any marshmallow–orange blossom scent he can get his hands on. Iconic. And somehow, even more cringe: that Ozempic influencer sliding this fragrance into a “top of the year” list. Please. I wouldn’t trust Redolessence’s opinion on air. From his POV, everything smells amazing, beautiful, groundbreaking, and totally worth it. (Which is exactly the problem — not every bottle deserves a spot on the shelf.) Anyway... just waiting for the moment when they finally become what they already are: completely irrelevant to buyers.

Illúsio is a beautiful floral fragrance. I wear this when I want to feel beautiful and put together. I do have a backup of this fragrance because I don’t want to run out. As for some of the reviews I see here about Daniel René reminding people to review his perfumes - I see nothing wrong with reminding people to leave a review. He wasn’t asking for positive reviews only. I always forget to go out and write an actual review on ANY fragrance. I will talk about them on social media but it’s not something that is on my mind to come to forums and write an actual review. So for me the gentle reminder to not forget about places like this is nice.

Each scent Daniel Rene puts out is getting better and better. This was an immediate love for me, I went into the store thinking I was going to buy something completely different. I smelled this one on paper, put it on skin and immediately purchased (without even asking the price 😳). Had average longevity on my skin,but I only sprayed one spray on my hand. As an orange blossom hater, I was really surprised how much I love it. This does not remind me of LDBS at all, I can't stand that one.

This is the perfect wedding fragrance. What’s lovely about Illúsio is it doesn’t overstay its sweetness. It maintains that light gourmand mood without becoming heavy or sticky. The balance is thoughtful. It’s dessert-like, but not dessert-first. It’s floral, but not overly powdery. The woods and moss prevent it from feeling too “bubblegum and cake.”

Really want to try this next, it’s been called one of the BEST niche wedding scents of 2025. Love the scent profile, very pretty. Also, HFC’s Devils Intrigue and More than Words by Xerjoff are all on my radar. That is all.

Smells like a more fresh floral clean Prada paradox, but the dry down is very pretty with the moss note, perfect for spring time and the bottle is gorgeous.

This is going to be my wedding fragrance for sure. It is beautiful and you ALL need this in your collection 👏🏽
