Elixir d'Amour 2018

And here we have a magic elixir . A wonderful Oud, not the protagonist but which I feel (particularly in the opening), initially surrounded by saffron and fresh notes, and then by a wonderful bouquet of white flowers. That tangible, true, physical passion which however has many other beautiful feelings around it, is the protagonist but accompanied by all the other beautiful sensations it becomes even more divine. Fantastic, unisex and something hypnotic for Oud lovers.

Smells like a berry parfait with caramel syrup that you eat as you stroll through a park in Spring. Sweet, green, and woody with hints of spice from the pink pepper. A complex and pleasant scent.

Opens spicy with saffron topping; heading for a heart with a fruity vibe highlighted by a juicy raspberry, a floral part of rose and white flowers and with a very striking dry woody seasoned with a hint of 'oud; Towards drying, the base adds an ambery, sweet, slightly resinous facet that, combined with musk, balances the perfume and removes any possibility of it becoming a fragrance that is too sweet or cloying. Delicious Perfume! Another beautiful creation of this Swiss House!

Initially, I only had the powderiness and sweetness of this perfume. Then, on smelling this at a later time, I really got a sharp, green, slightly bitter accord. I like this very much but it seems to have morphed into something I didn't expect and I didn't smell this unusual green/bitter note. I will continue to enjoy this but you can't always tell how something is going to turn out on your skin!

I fell in love with a decant that I had of this, it totally beautiful. I couldn’t stop smelling my wrist.

It is really nice but more something for my aunt or grandma.
