I have yet to smell Baccarat Rouge, so I can't attest to any similarity that may exist here. Moonlight in Chiangmai is a pleasant, sophisticated woody-amber scent that is masculine-leaning, but unisex depending on taste. MIC opens with nice bittersweet citrus, presumably the exotic yuzu, a note I'm unfamiliar with. It adds a perfectly judged fresh edge to the dark woody notes that follow. Teak, a fixture of old furniture, is another unusual note, beautifully rendered here. Jasmine rounds it out, adding smooth creaminess. There is some balsamic sweetness in here too. Dry, warm nutmeg follows, enhancing the wood beautifully, paving the way to the resinous amber base nicely. Patchouli adds some earthiness to the late stages, and it fades to a dark woody-amber skin scent with some spice remaining. Sillage is moderate and longevity is long-lasting. It is well-blended and fairly simple, but masterfully put-together - it is smooth, natural-smelling, even slightly creamy at times. It doesn't fall into the common pitfalls of this kind of scent - there is no harshness or thinness here, and it isn't too synthetic for the most part. Wearable and elegant, MIC is a lovely, transeasonal masculine that is hard to fault. 4.5/5.

First time I wore Moonlight in Chiangmai, I thought nutmeg dominant in the opening. This morning I pick up a distinct tart yuzu as the most dominant, but clearly these two notes dance and take turns being the lead. Almost transparent in the transitions, with subtle hints of vetiver and benzoin. And like all the Dusita’s I’ve tested, Moonlight is smooth and refined. Absolutely delicious, leaning in a smoky Asian spice direction. I’m fortunate in that I have travelled to Thailand as well as Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia, and it’s not hard to imagine that I’m being transported back to that part of the world. Performance is good, projection is not overpowering with decent throw in the first hour from three sprays. I wore this yesterday and kept thinking what a wonderfully balanced fragrance it is, and how it would work equally well for man or an adventurous woman. This is extremely exotic and extremely beautiful.

I received a sample of Moonlight in Chiangmai and instantly loved it. It opens with a light citrus note that never fully fades away. It quickly shifts to a rich warm dry amber woody notes that reminded me of SJP Stash. They are very similar but Moonlight in Chiangmai is softer, more elegant/refined as it retains a citrus note that keeps it light, is not as patchouli dominated and takes on a BR540/Zara Red Temptation quality after a few hours of wear. It also lasts much longer. This is perfectly unisex and has great silage and wear time. I got around 8 hours with just one spray to my wrist and touched to my other wrist. This is definitely going on my wish list and I will purchase after I finish my bottle of stash. ETA: Full bottle worthy. Just treated myself for my Bday. Loving it much more than SJP Stash which can be a bit rough around the edges.

I do respect different views and opinions but this is nowhere close to BR540 on my skin. Not even distantly relatable. It’s very normal for Pissara’s works nonetheless...it varies in a noticeable way on different persons. Opens very brightly, spicy (but not overpoweringly) and vetivery...almost tobacco-like on my skin but in such a pleasant way. Yuzu is in the backdrop right from the start. Not acidic at all. No citrusy vibe on my skin. Just a hint of Yuzu and its peel. Benzoin and myrrh are both present. But they are blended so well with Teak Wood. That bright and light woody balsamic vibe, so warm, so elegant but not in a thick/rich kinda way. It’s airy. I would not call this fresh...at least in a generally perceived way of fresh fragrances. It is sweet but woody sweet. No syrup. No cotton candy. Such a gorgeous and distinctive scent.

I typically love citrus but the citrus in this isn't sparkly and fresh, but deeper and heavier. This is very rich from start to finish with some sweetness and green going on in the background. Although the fragrance is not similar to BR540, it's got a similar vibe and I'd wear them on the same occasions. I wore Moonlight in Chiangmai a couple of times and liked it a lot. But after about the third time I wore it, I was craving it. Like, after my shower I couldn't wait to put it on. I've never had that reaction to anything before! As a woman I have a hard time getting over the fact that this is a "men's fragrance", though. I tried to get my husband to wear it but after one day he said it was "too much". I guess "too much" is just perfect for me!

OMG!!!! I have just received my Discovery set, and I’ve just started to go through the fragrances, But this one it smells thaaaaat amazing that I had to stop for a moment. For me it’s absolutely a full bottle worthy fragrance and I am a woman, i just know, I want to have this beautiful fougere around me, hopefully my fiancé will love it too, if not, I am going to wear it no questions. It seems. It smells so unique to me, just like most of the collection. A beautiful fruity, green, but also warm and slightly Sweet and nutty fougere. It gives me similar vibes as La Rhapsodie Noire, But this one goes into more fruity nutty direction, while LRN is going to more of a gourmand/ caffe / lavander direction. Love both!

I depicted the soft moonlight and desired nocturnal mood blending the unique energy of exotic Japanese Yuzu with the floral the opulence of night-blooming Indian Jasmin, as well as my own, exclusive Teak Wood accord that lovingly evokes my homeland, Thailand."

From the discovery set. This, for me, is a rather weak woody resinous perfume concoction. Wood and sweet, but on the intimate side. The only thing I find resembling BCR540 is the fact that it’s sweet and ghostly at times. Nice scent but not to the point of being lovely. Edit. After half an hour the scent turned into BCR540. Umm... lovely but not a purchase criteria since already own BCR540 extrait. Edit. Finally got it anyway. The notes from the bottle differ slightly. The opening yuzu is slightly stronger and more beautiful.

INSTANT LOVE. i ordered two samples (this and la douceur de siam) and Pissara was kind enough to send me samples of almost all the fragrances they offer, superb customer service! this opens super citrusy and woody, and dries down to a super sweet, almost syrupy pineapple on me. unisex but it does lean a little masculine because of the teak wood, and lasts on me forever. i have gotten so many compliments on this one and i will def purchase a full bottle once my sample runs out! possibly my new signature, well done Pissara!

Beautiful fragrance! I enjoy this genre of a traditionally labeled men’s Fougere type fragrances ( although there is no mentioned lavender in the notes list) layered with a women’s fruity floral. Floraiku’s And Your Lips is actually quite similar ( compared side-by-side on each wrist). Just swap the yuzu syrup in this for a jujube accord, although i prefer Pissara’s interpretation as it is more elegant and smooth. Hope to add this to my collection soon.

Difficult to pick out individual notes, but a shimmering myrrh, a slightly syrupy and fruity/aromatic benzoin and the shadows of jasmine enveloping the woody notes are definitely there. Well blended and perfectly unisex imo. It feels regal without being heavy and pompous. It shimmers like a jewel, shines like gold and glows like the fire of noble wood. It's the love child of Shamilar, Rochas Femme and Parfum d'Empire Wazamba.

This is a woody citrus that is syrupy sweet. I can see where people are getting the BR540 reference, most likely because of the similarities in the sweetness aspect. With this being said, this is not even in the same realm as BR540 that is musky sweet saffron. This is not close at all. It is good, but not great. I am not blown away, but it has an elegant stride, quite good longevity, and versatile! 8/10

This is a beautiful fragrance. It's fruity, warm, airy, resinous, luminous, well-blended. The nutmeg and wood notes become more evident with wear. And this would be a LOVE and immediate purchase... If it wasn't so reminiscent of other fragrances on the market. Side by side it is not identical to BR540 or Cloud (the yuzu sets it apart), but it's just not different enough to invest in.

This doesn't smell masculine at all on my skin. There's a BR540 sweetness to it and it's very elegant at the same time. Normally I can categorize fragrances into seasons, but this one is really all over the place. I see myself wearing this during the hottest summer days, but during the cold winter as well.

Absolutely stunning presentation First smell I got grapefruit flowers mixed with teak wood and I loved it what a Signature fragrance I got a lot compliments from this fragrance There is a Mix of modern and classic parfum I love it.

I need the reviewers on this site to stop comparing everything to BR540 - this is a woody-citrus scent using mostly natural ingredients. It has nothing to do with the burnt sugar/ambroxan impression you get from BR.

I like this perfume, one of my favourites from Dusita. It is very fruity, a sweet tropical smell that is hard to define. Almost like the fruity notes in white wine. Teak wood is there too, but it is subtle.

yuzu, teakwood, nutmeg, vetiver, myrrh and benzoin; the yuzu, dry wood, spice and myrrh dominate; went on a little bitter but quickly became sweet and interesting, not your typical citrus

Tart and sharp yuzu syrup. It’s gorgeous sugary and tropical. Yes, there are some woods in the background, but that’s not really the point. Love this.
