Pineapple Vintage Vanilla Intense

I just received the most recent batch from pre-orders, and man am I loving this latest version. I had a bottle from 2019, and though I liked it and used it up fairly fast, I remember it having a synthetic vanilla smell that made me feel like it was slightly cheap. That, or maybe it wasn't blended well. I'm not sure, but there was just something slightly off about it. This new version, wow. Though it does not project as far as the old batch, the blend is beautiful. After it matures for a few months, I'm hoping projection amps up a bit. It's super smooth and the vanilla does not smell synthetic at all. When I sniff the dry down, it's like butter to my nose. Such a smooth essence. If you like the Aventus DNA and are okay without the birch + amped up smooth vanilla, this is for you.

For those who think they are buying a vanilla focused fragrance... they will be in for an understandable but unpleasant surprise. The Pineapple Vintage line are all variations on the Creed Aventus theme. I don't consider them clones as they exist in their own space, and to me they are too expensive to be considered "clones". If you enjoy Pineapple Vintage or Pineapple Vintage Intense, but think the fruit is just a little too sharp, you will love Pinapple Vintage Vanilla Intense. The vanilla note is added to smooth out the fragrance just a touch to provide balance to the fruity, smoky, birch, and ambergris notes. I enjoy this flanker but I slightly prefer Pineapple Vintage Intense; I prefer its boldness.

I bought a 10 ml decant and wore it out quite a bit. This one has given me several compliments and probably the most memorable wow reaction from a beautiful lady. Will buy once the price goes down, right now the price is ridiculous. My batch of Aventus is vanilla heavy and bought it for maybe $50 more but I like it a better as it’s more complex and rich. Haven’t worn it out as much as Vanilla Intense but it has the same compliment factor. VI is a winner though. Rating: 9/10 (just because it’s a clone) Compliments: 10/10

This stuff is beautiful. It smells like 2016 Aventus and nilla wafers! I’ve been an Aventus fan boy since it was first released and this is by far the best Aventus inspired frag.

So my feelings went back and forth as I didn’t like this at first but I changed my mind in the drydown. This opens up in a very similar fashion to Pinaplle vintage intense as it’s a very bright,sweet.juicy pineapple opening but it is a little different as it’s a little more rich from the vanilla. Honestly though if I didn’t know this had vanilla in it I might have assumed that richness may have came from another note. In the mid this gets slightly off putting asthe weird synthetic vanilla note kind of clashes with the pineapple in a not so pleasant manner and there’s a sharpness in there that I just don’t like. However, in the drydown that sharpness fades and your left with a nice, smoother blend of what was reminiscent in the opening. In the drydown this smells almost too similar to Pineapple Vintage Intense but the subtle differences being that Vanilla Intense is smoother whereas Vintage Intense is slightly more tropical smelling. Again, the differences are very minute. Performance was decent as it lasted 8-12 hours with above average projection. Overall rating -7 out of 10 ! Decent scent but nothing amazing. Sidenote— I was disappointed that with the note of vanilla being highlighted that it wasn’t very present and in fact the vanilla that I did smell was very synthetic and cheap smelling.

So this fragrance and king intense basically smell like PVI in the dry down, there is very little difference in the dry down but there is a major difference in the opening and mid. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone if they already own PVI to be frank it's kinda like just another way to get more money out of their customers. it still smells good but it is basically PVI with some twists on it during the opening and first hour. It could be the reason why you like it and didn't like PVI tbh but I just tossing this out here so ppl know that it's still basically PVI after 2 hrs its just about what it smells like before that

Starts off promising w/a hint of dry vanilla dusted over a bed of Pineapple Intense. But that opening is misleading... It's just not very different from previous offerings except for a subtle arid, and maybe somewhat acrid accord which develops that replaces the recognizable vanilla note; it's actually fine but ultimately rather redundant to its predecessors I'm sorry to say. I had such high hopes $tammers wasn't just ca$hing in. Above-average longevity I feel now; it does project continually lightly in drydown but the opening sillage had colleagues agreeing they smelled a strong cleaning solution. : (

This is Aventus with an increase in the vanilla. It gives off a quite gourmand-vibe, lots of pineapple and vanilla here with some musk and ambroxan. I find it to be very versatile and can be worn in any season. Longevity is moderate on skin but it really clings to clothes. It projects quite well giving out nice constant wafts. It is a good fragrance for the price it is being offered at but just falls short of Creed's quality. If you like the extra vanilla, this one is for you.

Pleasant Aventus clone, infused with an ambroxanated vanilla extract, and a touch of super synthetic apple. Has a chemical overtone, but it’s nicely blended. Tones down within an hour. Maintains the same character, just a touch smoother.

Love love love all the PV's with Extrait being the crème de la crème, but this. I don't think is that great. Straight off the bat it reminds me of Pledge polish and I just can't shake it. It must give off good vibes though as I have trial run it today on an event I am hosting and I have had 3 people in the 2 hours I have been here asking if I was wearing Aventus. I wont be buying a bottle of this but glad of the sample I recieved with my most recent bottle of EE. Edit: This one really has me scratching my head! I really do not warm to this scent but out of all my frags (including multiple PV Aventus inspired scents) this one has gotten me more compliments than anything I have ever owned. As mentioned above, I was at a show yesterday so I was amongst a lot of high profile delegates. I must have had 15 compliments during the day and evening from guests all saying how amazing I smelled and quite a few "you're wearing Aventus aren't you" comments. Again, I don't think I will be able to shake the Pledge association but my god, this one really is a people pleaser.

Wow, this is actually amazing! It starts off with a smooth creamy vanilla but it doesn't come off as a gourmand. The vanilla is perfectly blended with the fruits that makes it fresh and then dries down to a beautiful smokey vanilla accord. The vanilla doesn't smell synthetic at all. It actually smells like quality vanilla that can be mistakenly taken as a niche type of quality. Another great thing about this fragrance is it lasts between 6-8 hours! PV really addressed the issues that Creed has. The first issue are the batch variations. I have two bottles of Aventus that unmistakably smells different from each other. The 16A01 smells so fruity that it comes off as a kid's cologne. Even my 3 year old brother can pull it off. The 16F01 smells a little bit better with the smokey vanilla rose accord. However, both bottles don't last at all! It lasts only about 4 hours while doesn't project at all! So being addicted to the smokey vanilla rose accord, I had to look else where and it led me to this! This is just my bias opinion because vanilla is one of my most favorite notes. Vanilla intense smells closely similar to the other flankers of PV that it can be redundant to buy all of them. The only reason why I'm buying vanilla intense is because the vanilla is more prominent. So if you like vanilla in Aventus, vanilla intense is for you.

This item's release really got wind in the sails of this linem following Pineapple Vintage Intense. PVI arguably started the hype of this line, and this item complimented it post-PVI release with a King (Woody), and Vanilla Intense (Vanilla) release of PVI, sub-variant. It's full bottle worthy, and not to echo many comments below, is a fragrance in high regard to my repertoire. My lady loves it, I love using this in the spring and summer time, and as a pineapple-centric item similar to Aventus without that inflated/artificiated price tag that modern Aventus absolutely does not deserve, this item is my alternative! An improvement to the impact notes to the Pineapple Vintage Classic; which, is more realistic pineapple with less projection, less longevity -- classic EDP performance. This item is a lot like Classic with the impact notes tuned up, and nothing else in the line quite gets quite as fresh, and underneath your nose as Pineapple Vintage Intense does, lemme' tell ya'. 8/10

This is a nice fragrance, if you never tried the original pre 2019 formulated batches. The vanilla now in the reformulated batches is really dumbed down. This gives me more of a less desirable pineapple vintage intense vibe now. I had a sample of the original vanilla intense and man was it a great fragrance. The vanilla was soo smooth the the pineapple adding some tartness. It projected well but this new batch doesn't. Now don't get me wrong it still is a good fragrance but I had the original vanilla intense at a 10/10. Anyway I would say sample it because it isn't the same even after letting it sit and macerate for 2+ months.

Pineapple & Vanilla = Vanilla Intense SOTD: 12/19/18 Parfums Vintage Vanilla Intense (Sample Decant) Received a sample decant from Parfums Vintage, to test out Vanilla Intense. To my nose I scent more Pineapple in the opening and when dry down hits the Vanilla begins to come in and is well blended with the Pineapple, Vanilla Intense has that gourmandish feel. In which I love. Made this a SOTD as of 12/19/18. Can't wait to get a full bottle of this juice. Rating Scent: 9/10 Presentation/Design: 8/10 Longevity/Performance: 9/10: lasted on my skin and still going on 12+ hrs Overall: 9/10

This is nice. The vanilla is the top player in this scent. Not my favourite out of the PV range but I could happily wear this for any occasion. It smells pleasant and it performs well for hours on end. Best to get a PV sample set first to try out which release fits best on your person.

**Edit** I’m mistaken - its14G01 of Aventus it reminds me of, interestingly, performs exactly the same way on my skin. This lasts for days on clothes but to me, just like G01, dries down to the sort of vanilla that’s beautiful, but ever so slightly feminine. Fantastic scent though.

I have had many many batches of Aventus. To be honest, I’ve been disappointed by the Pineapple Vintage to date but this one is so similar to my 14M01 batch of Aventus. Maybe not the longevity but a cracking attempt at a heavier vanilla batch of Creed Aventus

It's a powdery vanilla bomb. Absolutely nothing in common with Aventus. It's all I get, powdery vanilla. I understand why 50+ yo would like this, it is powdery, and even women could wear this cose of the strong vanilla.

Love this fragrance the vanilla really does take the show. I committed to buying this from now on instead of the actual Aventus because of the vanilla note , last a decent amount as well

Been trying a few fragrances from this house. This is a great fragrance smells amazing but performance is rubbish. This seems to be a trend with a few others but performance is sub par.

This one strongly reminds me of nishane Ani, but with a fruit note I prefer. I could see myself getting a bottle.
