Pineapple Vintage X Batch Intense

Having used the original X Batch as well, here are my thoughts: There is clear differences in the top and middle notes. Intense is more peppery on the top and woody in the middle while the original is very fruity the whole way through. Both are still brilliantly fruity. The bottom notes are quite similar, the original X Batch definitely has more Ambroxan on the dry down. It goes more the Sauvage route while Intense takes the Aventus route. Both are great individual fragrances with excellent projection and performance. I think my preference is Intense, but the original is definitely a crowd pleaser and will garner you lots of compliments.

I’ll say this one surprised me a little. When you first spray this there is ax extremely pleasing fresh (semi sweet) aroma that is very pleasing, but there was also something oddly “stinky”, but that goes away very quickly & from there it’s a very nice, fruity & pleasing scent. I do not have any experience with the original X batch, I went straight for this one. Longevity is 8+ plus good projection.

I have the original X Batch. Spectacular opening but it fades into a mostly Ambroxan (to my nose) scent after a couple hours. It's not as sexy as Sauvage in the dry down. Now, with intense, that gorgeous fruity opening remains for quite a while. To distill it down, this is an amped up version of the original (in a good way).

To MY nose, it smells like 75% Sauvage edt and 25% Aventus. The people with all the gripes and complaints, I don't get. It's as simple as I've described. A safe daily dumb reach scent.

Bought the intense version because I watched multiple reviews from youtube saying the original X batch was mostly Sauvage rather than a 50% mix between Sauvage and Aventus/Pineapple Vintage. Straight to point: X Batch intense does smell 50% Sauvage/Aventus The Pineapple note is definitely more noticeable which balances the mix. Opening and scent overall is sweet, fruity, and fresh. Only downside is projection only lasted an 1.5 hours to 2 hours at most for me, even when I spray my clothes. The scent lasted about 6 hours and when it's around 7 hours you have sniff really close and hard to detect of what's left of the scent. Score: 4/5 - I think it's enjoyable and somewhat unique Only downside is I wish the performance is better

This is enjoyable. It has the pleasant traits of Sauvage, with a little bit of Aventus, with some florals mixed in. It's polished and refined and overall chic.

This flanker is better than the former X Batch. I do like X Batch for its fresh scent however I feel it lacks longevity so I'd rather invest in the intense version which is stronger and achieves better longevity, sillage and projection. Also more notes are at play in this version - I really enjoy the opening which emanates a gorgeous blend of pineapple, blackcurrant and bergamot. The rest of this fragrant experience moves into floral territory with woody undertones here and there which loiter until the very end. X Batch Intense is one of the best I've tried in the entire Parfums Vintage range.

Just tested a sample and sprayed it in my skin. The initial reaction of this smells like dirty wet sock or something similar to what happens when you don't dry your clothes properly and your clothes get this bad odour. Then after 10 mins the stinky smell goes away all I can smell is this chemical that resembles tiger balm or vicks in my skin. I don't get any resemblance of Sauvage/aventus from this. Lucky I only got a sample instead but this is a no buy for me.

Sauvage with an added Pineapple Note Somewhat similar to Sauvage, mainly the EDP because of the added sweetness. Except Sauvage EDP is sweet because of the Vanilla, while XBI is sweet from the pineapple. It's missing the peppery kick that Sauvage is known for, and is much more fruity overall. Smells like fruity pebbles cereal Overall solid scent!

Blind bought this and I honestly don’t know how people are wearing this because it’s so bad. Has a distinct smell of motor oil, and it is absolutely horrible. I’ve seen people mention the idea of letting it sit for two months, and I will just see if anything changes. Completely unwearable at this point.

as I read so many positive feedbacks about this X-Batch, I blind buyed this. In my opinion a total flop. - longevity -> moderate - sillage -> moderate there is no point, buying this. sorry guys, for me a total fiasko.

Just like X-batch only stronger. X-batch was in a way maker of its own scent while the intense version reminds me of Aventus and savage MORE.

As someone said before me, its a more intense x-batch! Smells great and I get good longevity and projection.
