Cosmic Giardino

I have been wearing this one almost every day this Summer, and it hasn't gone unnoticed. In fact, it's gotten me several compliments, and many inquiries as to what cologne I'm wearing. I've come to the conclusion that I prefer this to the original Paradise Garden. Let me explain why. The overused "Blue" aromatics of the original (lavender, geranium, mint and ginger) have been toned down here. In their place is a delectable violet accord. The inclusion of Violet was so smart. Here, it showcases it's fruity and woody aspects, with hints of raspberry, juicy and clean. It is the perfect counterpart to the green and grassy notes, creating a perfect, just ripened, fantasy fig accord. I adore the combination of fig and violet and/or iris. Cosmic Giardino nods to classics like Hermes Un Jardin En Mediterranee or Guerlain Figue-Iris, yet it is absolutely doing it's own thing. The coconut makes this one much more creamy, and almost edible, than both. Cosmic Giardino treads the line between fruity, fresh, and natural/ atmospheric so well. In the base, we find a salty, sandy accord, provided by Ambroxan. Then, a creamy sandalwood appears, enhanced by a comforting smell akin to lavender dryer sheets. This smell is essential to the fragrance. It adds a fluffy, clean, warm and familiar quality, like dying off with a clean white towel after a swim in the ocean. The overall longevity and projection of this fragrance are excellent. I highly recommend this for any person, male or female, who desires a stronger version of Paradise Garden: one that focuses more on Fig, Coconut, and Violet than "freshie" aromatics.

My search for a tropical creamy coconut forward aquatic yields a success finally. Having bummed by Khadlaj Island, I was half expecting this to be a disappointment as well, but it turned out to be a great buy! I would not really call this a straight up clone for JPG Paradise Garden, its more so Paradise Garden mixed with Le Beau Le Parfum, layered with a tinge of Kenzo EDT Intense as a base. The resulting blend is better than any of the aforementioned fragrances (except maybe Kenzo, but I am biased towards Kenzo anyway) and has a very tropical aquatic yet subtle classy mature feel to it, whilst maintaining the playful/relaxed nature of the scent DNA. The performance is quite good, but I would not straight up call it a beast, atleast not in my first couple testings. It lasts for about 7 hours or so on my skin in hot/humid weather and projects well for the first 2 hours; this is before it has time to mature, so take this with what you will. Overall its a great release, better than any stand-alone clones for any of the aforementioned scent DNAs, as it brings a better character to the play with its scent profile and performance. Very satisfied with the purchase, will highly recommend to try and buy!

I was very intrigued by this scent profile but a bit worried that it would lean more masculine. Bit the bullet and bought it leaning into the unisex theme. I haven’t worn it alone, but rather have been layering it with more feminine scents. This layers beautifully and paired with a sweeter scent like burberry goddess or other softer floral profiles this turns into a fresh feminine all day feel good experience! Very happy I gave this a shot! On its own the dry down is soft and not just all muscle. In our South African climate this works very well for a beachy cool girl vibe. Effortlessly graceful.

Cosmic Giardino is a pleasant dupe of paradise garden. This fragrance smells very oceanic and the fig definitely is the signature note. Definitely is a beach summer scent and is a little salty. Still very masculine due to the top notes but slightly feminine at the same time. The dry down is my favorite with the tonka and Sandalwood. The silage is very good and lasts extremely long. I sprayed 4 times and people could smell it in the other room. I picked this up for $20 and definitely money well spent. I’m not a huge fan of the fig but still 9/10.

80-90% similar to JPG Paradise Garden, it has a twist. Its not as green as PG its more sweet and smooth to my nose, PG has that green/salty note that sometimes i just cant stand, Cosmic Giardino on the other hand has more of a juicy sweet/slightly green and salty feel to it, its juicy sweet but that coconut, florals and sandawood make it slightly woody/aromatic so its not cough syrup type of sweet. In my opinion better than the original (I own both). If you want PG but not as grassy/salty this is the fragrance for you!

Imagine JPG Le Beau and Kenzo Homme EDT Intense/EDP, mixed together. Very strong, very potent scent. Strong coconut and fig with an aromatic creamy Tonka Bean, Sandalwood, Ambroxan base. Room filler! Enormous sillage and eternal longevity. Update: After a week from the first spray. The scent is calmed down in a very good way. This will be get even more good while macerate over time. If you have Khadlaj Island too you can buy this as well, not that similar. Both really good for summer.

I have and like Najdia Intense but that one pales compared to Cosmic Giardino. The notes in here are way more amplified and higher quality smelling. Adding a lovely creamy drydown. I cannot see even Khadlaj Island smelling any better than this. Oh and did I mention strong and long lasting!

This is not a 1:1 of Paradise Garden. Instead, it takes inspiration from the DNA, and does its own thing, which is what i really like about Cosmic Giardino. Instead of being more fig and green heavy like PG, CG leans more into the lavender, violet, and geranium. You'd think that this would be a more feminine fragrance, but it is not. Definitely unisex, leaning more masculine. CG is loud, but doesn't scream. It lasts ALL day on my clothes and skin. Even after a shower i can still smell it radiating off of my skin. This will project off of your skin, so if you're worried about others noticing you, fear not. CG is hands down a warmer weather scent. The floral aspects of it is what makes it so fitting for the spring and summer months. It isn't particularly heavy by any means despite the outstanding performance, but it isn't light and airy either. I do wish that i could've gotten a bit more of that tonka bean in the dry down, but it's no love lost. Definitely give this one a shot if you like Paradise Garden. Just temper your expectations if you're looking for a 1:1. Cosmic Giardino is not that. You could think of this as more of a flanker of the DNA, with florals amped up. Great buy at my local TJ Maxx for under $30.

#1783 in my “Tour de Fragrance” Blind bought this for $30. Good copy of JPG “Le Beau Paradise Garden,” my favorite JPG. The bonus is it’s longer lasting and better projecting, which is not hard to do with the Le Beau frags which are all indifferent performers. JPG always skimps on the oils. Nice tropical scent. Attractive, high quality bottle. If you already own Khadlaj “Island” this would almost be redundant, though I like this a little better than the fruitier Khadlaj. This is a casual scent. Beach wear for warm weather. You could wear it at night, but it does have a hint of hard candy in the scent, so certainly not office or formal wear. Won’t offend in any setting. Lasts 6+ hours on me, but it's hot as the ovens of hell here right now, and windy, so probably would hold up all day in cooler weather. A successful blind buy for me. God Luck and Good Hunting!

Pure, sophisticated freshness, that is how i would describe Cosmic Giardino. I absolutely love this. It smells green, it smells salty, but not like a wild forest. It’s more like a perfectly maintained, high end garden just after the rain or in the crisp early morning air. Yes, it’s fresh, but don't expect that typical, synthetic, generic "blue" DNA. Cosmic Giardino is far more sophisticated. There’s a certain airiness to it, light and pleasant, yet undeniably present. It balances earthy, sweet, and floral notes in a way that feels expensive and unisex, not just feminine. It has this "clean luxury" vibe that elevates it far above your average freshie. I let my bottle rest for a few weeks after the initial sprays. Give it some time to breathe, like you should with most parfumes from Arabian houses... the patience pays off.

Paper test: This is a dude smell. I don't feel like this is a typical feminine fragrance. It's strong out of the gate, I get the salt reference and there is a kind of an herbal floralness that I don't relate to lavender but it might be that. It reminds me of something I have smelled before, maybe a shampoo? It's growing on me. I think I'm getting the coconut and fig in there. Not sure why but it reminds me of the beach in the Pacific Northwest.

it’s more of it’s own thing instead of a clone to jpg paradise garden. i love paradise garden, and this is maybe 75-80% the way there. my ma doesn’t like it, while my siblings and younger cousins all like it. this is definitely a young scent. very youthful and loud. ciao

Found at TJ Maxx and took a risk. Glad I did; smells just like my favorite Orabella, Salted Muse, but blended better, not oily, and with much better staying power. Fresh, sunny, salty figs and woods at the beach.

Nose Note #1012 This is the first time I've come across Paradise Garden-esque DNA. I don't know if the intention was to make the DNA mass appealing, but this smells very niche time me. Something in the middle between Le Labo Santal 33 and BDK Gris Charnel, but lavender is making the composition more masculine. I can't call this a mens perfume though, it's just niche weird. The coconut may as well be mistaken for santal with a milky tea-fig touch like you have it in Gris Charnel. So it's not tropical-tropical. And I'm getting this pickle vibe from Santal 33. Not as obviously pickles like in Santal, but very similar. So again, weird. Pickled milky lavender. Unisex. Performance is better than average, but not crazy. 6/10, strange

Cloyingly sweet and synthetic. I can not imagine wearing this in the heat.

i've never smelled paradise garden so I have no idea if this is a good dupe of it's intended target. I used the search notes picker on here chasing a scent like my beloved Mahogany Coconut bath and body works candle, and it's very much in that neighborhood so i'm thrilled. Salty sweet coconut, lavender-geranium, and soft woods. long lasting, strong projection and a cozy fuzzy drydown. pairs well with lavender vanillas, with aquatic lotusy florals, with humid white florals, wore it today with a spritz of charlie blue and the combination of salty sweet coconut with soapy jasmine and moss was deliciously retro summery. also goes great with confession for her, they're like boy and girl cousins lol. though giardino cosmico is totally unisex imo, i don't feel hesitant to wear it as a woman. downside is the bottle, which is pretty but opaque and has just about the tightest cap.

Im so excited to receive this in the mail. I should have it right after Easter. Tuesday..Im a female and thought its marketed as a dupe for Paul Jean Gaultier Paradise Garden ( mens) the notes tell me fresh spring/summer vibes. Ive smelt the OG in Sephora. I think its very unisex 50/50 . By reviews ladies rock it like its surely exceptable.I know you can wear what you want. Any ladies out there , shout out to me your thoughts. If its to masculine my Hubby gets the prize....

A very pleasant, sweet and salty coconut and fig fragrance. It's more sweet than salty though -- you need a sweet tooth to be appreciative of this. Like a lot of coconut fragrances, it comes off a little sticky and almost body odor-y, fortunately this fragrance pulls it off in a good way. The floral notes that are listed in the scent pyramid can be dismissed completely -- it's all fruity sweetness and salt. Very tropical and special scent, just wonderful.

I have both Le Beau and Paradise Garden from JPG, i would say this is a mix of the two. 70% Paradise Garden, 20% Le Beau and 10% itself. Lasts 8+ hours on me, projects well in the first 5, Sillage is easily 3-5+ feet depending on your skin type. Lasts days on clothes with 1 feet projection if you don't reapply. Amazing scent, anything works except the winter with this. I got amazing compliments in a couple days with it.

Eight hours in and it is still going strong on my skin. This is a sharp yet creamy blend of fig and coconut, with a masculine edge. The fig and lavender gives it a fresh, slightly green bite, while the coconut and tonka smooths everything out with a sort of milky sweetness. If you’re a fan of JPG Le Beau, this takes that exact DNA and half’s the price. This will definitely be used in my summer rotation. 8/10

Smells like you’ve taken a swim at the beach and covered in sea salt, drinking a tropical smoothie, with a little bit of coconut water in it, and a clean hint of soap. Lasts long and projects really well on me, it really lets you know it’s there. I’ll really like this for certain occasions and vibes.

Very good clone. Smoother as it doesn't have the edge of ginger and mint in the opening. Instead violet and geranium help recreate the minty watery opening of PG in this inspo. PG really smells like a dewy green garden with fig sweetness. Cosmic has the same vibe without being photorealistic.

Sticky sweet, floral, coconut cream with a pinch of salt. The ambroxan enhances but doesn’t overwhelm. This is honestly a beautifully thick scent. The bottle is mediocre but the juice does the talking here. Banger 10/10 🔥

How long does this take to mature? Because it sure doesn't smell like Paradise Garden right out of the box.

Very masculine, I don’t feel that it is unisex at all. Sharp, crisp and tropical.

It just doesn't feel good. I get disgusted by this one. Literally gagging.
