Fatal Embrace

Fatal Embrace is definitely giving Mancera vibes. If you’re familiar with the brand’s DNA, you’ll immediately notice it here. It’s a little early for me to speak about projection and longevity, but one thing I can say without hesitation: this fragrance is absolutely amazing. To me, it smells like the love child of Roses Greedy and Holidays — with much stronger Roses Greedy genes. Imagine taking the roses, jasmine, vanilla, and amber from Roses Greedy, then blending them with the bright bergamot and creamy ylang-ylang from Holidays. There’s even what feels like the tiniest hint of saltiness (not listed in the notes, but my nose swears it’s there). The result? A rich, rosy, slightly sunny scent that feels both indulgent and addictive. Honestly... I really like it.

A softer version of Ajwad with less longevity. Definitely a love! Just going to add that Fatal Embrace softens after the dry down until only a lightly powdery musk and ever so soft jasmine skin scent remains and it is gorgeous. I agree with @nicole_wsk's observation of the hint of an unlisted salt note there. I just wish this was a little stronger. What a find.

I'm kinda sad to read the reviews of this. I actually like it. It's an Earthy sweet fragrance that reminds me of kayalis elixir 11, not of any of these other scents people are mentioning. That being said, I am a yellow floral fan, and a patchouli fan. I think if you were expecting one of those niche Fragrances you'd be disappointed, but I like this for what it is. Like many other scents I would put in it's family , it's not so much the direct smell on skin that I like, but the scent trail it leaves. I sprayed this on my son as he was walking by coming in from outside and I love the waft coming from him lol. I can't wait to see what it develops into as it sits :)

I feel very mixed, quite ambivalent about Paris Corner "Fatal Embrace." Out-of-the-gate, Fatal Embrace feels poorly blended and very unbalanced to my untrained nose. The opening does remind me of Mancera "Roses Vanille," or Mancera "Roses Greedy," two perfumes I do not particularly like. I detect lots of citrus and rose upfront. There are mixed white florals in the heart. Vanilla & musk, I suppose are in the base notes and dry-down. The perfume wears in a somewhat screechy and cragged manner. Will give this some time, see if I can warm up to this perfume. For now, nothing about Fatal Embrace resonates with me. FWIW, the bottle and the boxing are gorgeous. I'm sad...

Love the bottle not a fan of the scent. Overly sweet with nothing but orange blossom blasting you in the face. Fatal orange blossom embrace.

I blind bought this thinking it would be a dupe for Lift me Up but it's honestly not even close to a dupe. Also, it's not mentioned in the notes but there is this artificial basenote that my nose is really sensitive to and which makes me hate every perfume that has it very deeply (Vanilla Powder, Vanilla Haze, Lust in Paradise also have it). I'm not sure whether it is ambroxan or a combination of amber/ woody molecules but it is really hard to scrub off. It has this faint smell of a nightclub, beer, and sweat. Although I'm a big fan of the real amber scent, I'm scared to buy perfumes that list it in their basenotes now because 9 out of 10 it's that artifical crap. Makes me sad.

A very heavy yellow floral fragrance. Definitely not my cup of tea. Seems a little mature (as in old lady smelling). Upon first spray, it gave me an immediate headache.

Oh no, I was hoping for a Lift Me Up dupe, but it is a Sintra dupe! I know, because I hate Sintra. I will let it macerate and hope for the best.

Firstly: This is straight out Feminine and Sweet, nothing masculine about it. At first I wasn’t sure about this perfume as it was only orange blossomy in your face. It had nothing going on but this heavy orangey smell. After few months: it’s starting to develop and you can smell other notes like vanilla and rose. It’s starting to grow on me and for now, I’m wearing her at home just to help her develop more and I’m slowly warming up to her 🌺
