Lueur d'Espoir Memories of Summer

Delighted upon initial spray...bought in the early winter, so I’m looking forward to this summer when it’s macerated (it’s a ME dupe, so I assume it’s necessary for max goodness) because it definitely smells more like a spring and summer scent, although the ginger note gives it a little bit of validity in the winter. It’s not tooooo too summery. This is a love. A worthy dupe, smells expensive. I’ve never smelled the OG so I have no opinion on closeness. But if you can’t afford that price tag but your heart needs it, I say this could tide you over potentially just by how good the quality is on its own.

Comparing with Symphony, it's slightly more feminine and sweet while Symphony has a spice that almost gives me the feeling of a real grapefruit. I definitely wear this more (not only because of the price) but because of the citrus being milder and sweeter while S is tart. The ginger in the opening exists (not strong at all) but in the dry down is just a hint of it. They are similar, but not the same. Symphony is definitely more complex and well blended, but this one is more of candied spicy oranges which I love. Perfect for layering and totally worth it.

This is more beautiful than what I was expecting. It’s a gorgeous grapefruit scent. There’s a little twist to it that I can’t put my finger on but it makes it so amazing. It may be the ginger/amber combo. I do feel it leans masculine but I’ll still wear it because it is so good. I wore it to work and my boss said that my male coworkers cologne smelled so good but it was me. He wasn’t wearing anything. This perfume has really impressed. It’s in my top three favorite middle eastern perfumes!

LV Symphony dupe without the effervescent opening of the OG, longevity is phenomenal, but one can go nose blind to this.. I wore this again in the day of writing this and I can still smell it strong because I sprayed it all around me and I sprayed Encre Noire once on my neck for contrast so I don't go nose blind. BTW, how frustrated are the guys from LV to hire people to downvote fragrances in the "similar to" section of fragrantica :)))) it's quite funny!

At the moment, it’s mainly ginger, grapefruit, and bergamot coming through.There’s no trace of musk or amber at this stage. It reminds me of Indian lemonade with lots of ginger added — I’m surprised by how enjoyable this is. This would be a great addition for summer.

Close the LV symphony, but not quite there. This one is definitely lighter and not as bright citrus in the opening, but for the price I'm glad to have it. I'll layer it with my other symphony inspirations.

I like it kinda. Unisex. Leans slightly feminine. Citrus and something sweet. I also get clear coconut or something very similar even if it's not marked on the notes. Summer day for sure.

Pretty lemonade citrus fragrance. Performance and projection is so weak that I can even wear it to gym without offending anyone that it will up anyone's space.

But where is the citrus? Full of ginger, but not like that of JL immortal. Longivity is also moderate. There are much better option in summer, than this.

Compared to Island Dreams, this one has a much more masculine musk base. I think the recommended audience for that one should be more female leaning, while this one should be the more male leaning counterpart. In absolute terms, it's a lemony, musky fragrance.

This is one of very few perfumes that actually made me nauseous. To me it smells like a shellfish soup, it's really weird, something in there messes with my nose...

Just unboxed so no maturation yet, so take my review lightly. My bottle smells VERY far off from LV Symphony. My bottle is a candied grapefruit with a prominent creamy-vanilla. It smells like vanilla cake icing with a sweet citrus gel topping or citrus candy. It smells like a citrus flanker to Paris Corner Cake Temptations. My bottle is a GOURMAND scent. Will see how maturation goes. On the flip side, I smelt LV Symphony very well once (but only once), and it smelt like a combination of LV Pacific Chill and Tygar/Vibrato/Ingenious Ginger. Will update after maturation. Update 1: I smelt a tester bottle of this at a retailer and it smelt the same. 60% sweet grapefruit and 40% vanilla cake. This is NOT an LV Symphony clone. Wtf is this Paris Corner? Did your factory inadequately flush a perfume tank after producing Cake Temptations? Haha. Anyway, waste of my money because I expected a Symphony clone. Disappointed.

If Jolly Rancher made a lemonade style candy. Sweet, sour, citrusy. Surprisingly, I find this quite different to my nose than anything Ive smelled before with these similar notes. I do pick up that familiar citrus ginger amber combo but this does have a different kind of frequency, some may find this interesting or even odd, so it could be a hit or a miss. Never smelled LV Symphony but people say this does not smell like it. This also kind of giving me the same type of vibes as Hermes Eau des Merveilles, genderless ambery candied citrus.

To me this smells very much like sweet-orange mixed with something luxuriously fresh and green. It's very close to Biotherm's Eau d'Energie with a dry down somewhat reminding me of Fleur Narcotique by Ex Nihilo. It's stunning. It's not too complex, nothing too extravagant but definitely it's smell of luxury.

How many dupes of the same damn LV perfume how many dupes of delina!? Grr 😖 yet no Arabic dupe for Soleil Blanc?! Or other Niche Brands? Or some Diptyque? I’m soooo over these dupes 🤦♀️
