Mango Punch

I am not a fan of mango anything, but all the other notes in Mango Punch (as listed in the review below) checked a LOT of favorite note boxes. That and my experience with Pear Potion from the same house made a $30 blind buy seem worthy. At first spritz, the pronounced mango had me thinking oopsie on the blind buy. A few minutes later, when the florals kicked in, I was in love. On my skin his fragrance is sweet. creamy, and gets nicely aquatic in humid air. I can't stop smelling this stuff. I do layer it over my signature sweet patchouli oil. The patchouli in the base of the fragrance is nice, but I like mine more pronounced. It is not overpowering to put nose to skin but it has a nice trail as well. It lasts a good 10-12 hours. It belts out its song in warm/ hot, humid air in late spring, summer and early calendar fall where I live. It is a bit quieter in cooler, drier environments, making for a friendlier indoor/ office vibe. It is feminine leaning, but a man who likes sweeter white florals could rock this one.

I was looking for a summer scent that was more mango. I didn't want anything fruity. I wanted something that was grown. And this fragrance did not disappoint. As soon as you spray, you smell the mango right away, but it's not like an overly sweet smell. It was done just right. It has this fluffy sweet mango scent, but then behind it all you smell are the flowers. I don't smell the pepper at all, but it's giving me a bit of an oud scent behind the mango with the flowers. So that may just be the pepper doing that. Because of that I do feel that you can kind of bring this fragrance into the fall, not just a summer. It's beautiful to wear alone, but sometimes I layer it with Phlur Mango Mood to enhance the scent more; plus it smells a lot similar with a slight difference. It lasts a little bit longer. This scent last ls about six hours tops. That'll be my only gripe. But this kind of fragrance at the price point is something to be happy about.

this is a tough fragrance not for everyone s personality!!! For me the fragrance starts with a strawberry melted ice cream combined with a very big aged mango that makes its presence extremely seen. after a few minutes , the pepper makes its way into the smell giving it a quite citrus-spicy smell which is PERFECT.After 15 minutes it smells exactly like a veryyyyyyy sweet mango ice cream with some glazing and vanilla which makes it very noticeable.My mom thinks it smells like sweat combined with fragrances but thats why i said in the beginning that it may not suit everyone’s tastes.If u have the possibility to smell it irl do it.me personally i blind bought it and im VERY happy with it.Even with layering with a couple of other strong fragrances the mango still smells the same.The projection is PERFECT u can smell it from a couple of feet away.Overall 9.3/10 just for the glazing that does not belong in the smell.

Mango Punch opens with a big yummy very fruity and fresh mango splash. I get the blackberry as well, but the mango stays dominant. I do not get the pepper in the opening, also I don ́t really get a lot from the floral notes in the middle. The mango lingers on and combines beautifully with the blackberry into a warm, fruity heart. The drydown to me smells a bit masculine, here I get the pepper and patchouli, but still the mango is very present. It also has a hint of creamyness in the drydown but not too strong. Mango punch is a very suitable scent for sping and summer time, both day and night time. And for me totally unisex because of the masculine leaning drydown. Love it!

The first spray honestly wasn't great. It smelled quite synthetic, almost plasticky, and I had a hard time figuring out what I was smelling. After a few minutes it started to soften and became much more enjoyable. The mango came forward together with what I think is the blackberry, giving it a fruity sorbet-like feel. I also get something watery from the lotus, mixed with a sweet candy-like vibe. Right now it feels youthful, playful and fruity rather than realistic. It's definitely sweeter than I expected, but in a fun way. Update: The more it settles, the more I like it. The synthetic opening fades away and the mango becomes much more pleasant. What I enjoy is that it doesn't turn into an overripe or overly sweet mango. Instead, it stays fresh with a soft fruity sweetness that makes it very easy to wear. It's not the most complex mango fragrance I own, but that's also part of its charm. Sometimes a simple, fresh mango scent is exactly what I'm in the mood for. 🥭🥭🥭

It smells like a very sugary juicy mango with a hint of white florals. It's a very sweet mango candy. I haven't tried mango skin since it's not being sold in my country, so not sure how similar it is to that. I've had my bottle for about a year now so it's nicely macerated now. I'm actually not a massive fan of mango scents, but I like this one. I'd say it leans more feminine because of the sweetness. But definitely ok for guys who like more sugary scents too! I think this is nicer to layer. Mix this with Pear Potion! If you prefer a more juicy ripe mango scent, go for Ophidian Mango Bliss instead. If you want a true green mango (non ripe mango) scents, go for Lattafa Pride Leen. This one is a green, clean, non sweet at all, true mango. Green as in nature green.

Update from 1+ year later. I am sorry for all the trash talk about this one. It has become a beautiful, juicy, ripe mango and the weird note is gone. I have no idea why it took soooo long for this to settle, blend or whatever it does when you let it sit, but now it's something completely different and I'm glad I did not give it away. Lasts for 5 hours, projects very loudly and although it is quite sweet, I now like it quite a lot! * I've had it for almost an year now and waited for it to settle and become better, but it hasn't. It is veeeeeery synthetic, to the point where it smells like the cheapest car odor bomb ever. I just can't with it, very very cheap smelling. It does last though and projects quite powerfully (unfortunately). It's a definite NO for me.

It's not your photorealistic juicy sweet mango. It's a tangy, almost zesty green but just starting to get ripe mango. That's what I essentially get from it at the moment, A unripened mango, with a citrus accord, perhaps even a red berry tartness? With the dry down, it becomes sweeter and juicier, and even dare I say slightly creamier. No powderiness nor strong white floral FOR NOW. To me, it's quite unisex, due to the initial tanginess that the black pepper brings. In regard to the longevity and sillage, for now, the longevity seems rather weak, like pretty disappointing, but I'm hopeful that the juice will grow with maceration and become stronger, powderier and sweeter though.

This fragrance opens with a burst of ripe, sweet yellow mango – very juicy, summery, and “pretty.” It’s not green or sharp like Mango Skin, but rather warm and sugary, reminiscent of a mango smoothie. As it dries down, a light creaminess and a soft hint of patchouli come forward. 🌞🥭🍹 Overall, it's an enjoyable fruity scent – pretty and fun, but not a must-have. Nice for summer, but doesn't stand out.

Almost the full dupe of Vilhelm Perfumerie Mango Skin. Pepper makes it more interesting, for me it’s totally summery fragrance that you are wearing during the enormous hot day somewhere near sea shore.

Sweet fruit mix with a mango and berry mix. Not overbearingly sweet which is surprising for a mango scent. Don't really get the other notes tbh so I can't talk about much.

I have this perfumed spray. It is very mango forward. Nice and powdery as well. I agree with another reviewer this has a "fizzy" smell like a fuzzy peach

For some reason it smells like a tropical energy drink with mango at the forefront. Don't get any spices but it's still very good.

Somebody recommended this fragance to me, "try it this is an bright fresh wateryy refreshing amazing summer fragance". As it's going towards summer, had some extra money, I bought it.... This is def NOT a bright fresh watery refreshing fragrance to me. It's def (over) ripe mango but some how the combination of notes (maybe the lotus and pepper) makes this scent kind of stuffy and stale. It's not the refreshing juicy bright uplifting perfume I hoped it was. And it's quite cloying as well, here temperatures already rising fast, and it gets a bit much in the heat. I would not recommend this as a daytime summer fragrance...Maybe more spring, summer evenings if it has cooled down, or even autumn... It stays about 5-6 hours on my skin, so that's not bad...I hope maceration makes it better. Do yourself a favour, and do not blind buy this, fr. 😉 5,5/10

Sweet and powdery synthetic mango scent. It's not a photorealistic mango which is always a bit of a bummer for me. There's also something a bit fizzy in the opening, but absolutely no tartness. Decent projection in creating a scent bubble for yourself; better than other fruit scents I own. It's fine for the summer, will see if anything changes after a couple more months of maturing (bought this a month ago; scent has not significantly changed during that time.)

Mango Punch by Paris Corner opens with a strong blast that reminds me a lot of Fanta Orange — sweet, fizzy, and a bit synthetic. Unfortunately, it doesn't quite work on my skin, and the longevity is very poor — maybe 2 to 3 hours at best. It's not a favorite of mine, but I can see it being okay for quick outings on hot summer days when you just want something light and playful. Just don't expect it to last or evolve much.

Very synthetic smelling and not pleasing at all. It's very cloying to wear in summer. Men should not wear this very feminine leaning scent 4/10

It's a very mature mango, overripe. Not very sweet, just overripe mango and that's really it. No vanilla to be seen

This one feels a bit synthetic and while it is fruity sweet, the combo with the peppery notes is not very pleasant on my skin. Too harsh on fabrics to my nose too. I ended up using it as an overpriced bathroom freshener instead ;)

I’m Super disappointed , It’s a body spray with black pepper. That pepper note has no busy in such a synthetically sweet scent. It’s just odd.

A bit of a let down. I was expecting sweet mango and a bit of spice, but the pepper note is stronger than the other notes and makes the fragrance smell like urine on my skin. It doesn’t smell sweet or fruity, it’s straight spiciness. I’m wondering if leaving it to macerate will help some. This isn’t the fragrance for me. Selling my bottle if anyone’s interested—just DM me.

When the bottle first arrived, I was absolutely frustrated by the notes of masculine deodorant and synthetic canned fruit. The bottle sat on the shelf for five months. Today I tried it again — and now it’s juicy, ripe, sweet-and-sour mango! I’m glad I waited and didn’t sell it. For the price, this fragrance is a real delight.

I ger a more of a passionfruit. But it's a very nice fragrance.
