Papillon des Vents

I love this fragrance. I bought it thinking it was it's own scent. I didn't know it was an inspiration. I'm really happy though because I love this! It's so beautiful for the warmer months. I get mandarin then I do get orange blossom but it's creamy from the vanilla orchid. I also get peony in the opening but it's not too sweet or cloying. This dries down into a beautiful creamy floral with some vanilla to smooth it out. This lasted on me over night. You do not need much of this. I find this to be a hidden gem no one really talks about this one but it's so good. So glad I decided to try this. I highly recommend this if you love orange blossom. This smells so good.

A very beautiful scent! I definitely pick up on all the listed notes. Sweet creamy vanilla with fruit. It’s not cloying sweet, it’s elegant. It’s one I can see myself wearing a lot! As a gourmand lover, I really enjoy this perfume! It’s strong and it projects. Only 2 sprays leaves a nice scent bubble. I layered with Bodycology Sweet Love and it got me compliments from my husband who said I smelled like ambrosia salad :) Longevity is about 8-10 hours. Also the bottle is pretty neat. The little water droplets look so real that I thought they were when I opened the box 😆

This is an intriguing perfume. I was fixed on getting Atheeri, and this came along with better hopes of even better longevity and silage. This smells floral, not overwhelmingly so. Someone mentioned watermelon, which I can see, however... this seems somewhat aquatic or watery, with a bit of fresh cut honeydew melon or cucumber. It is a bit fresh. I tend toward being a gourmand girlie, but I certainly will make exception for this one, especially on a hot summer day or night. I am especially curious what time-out will bring her.

This perfume became my Top 5 and I own several fragrances. It’s better and more long lasting than the OG and way more than Atheeri. Perfect for warm days. Not offensive and projection is moderate. Becomes skins scent on me after 4 hours but you can still feel it throughout the day. Amazing.

The first day I wasn’t sure. Fast forward a full week and omg 😍😍😍 Extremely close to FGO. I can’t stop wearing her and I have quite a large collection. I’m putting her in my top 10 easily! If you like the OG, you will absolutely enjoy this one.

I love Gucci Flora Orchids and Atheeri, but Papillon des Vents is much stronger than Atheeri and lasts longer.

This is now in closet time out because first sprays where just watermelon sugar watered down juice 😵💫 overwhelming plain sweetness without anything to ground it or balance it. Something creamy or vanilla, resins, I don't know, some more citrus to break the unbearable watery sugariness. Yuk. If it changes I will update for sure.

- What the heck is this fragrance lol. I'm not getting almost any of the listed notes, and the scent mixture I'm smelling... I'm perplexed. It's like there was an attempt at a spicy floral with a little fruit, but done badly...? Just my opinion! - Moderate projection. - Would not buy. Had to scrub off immediately. There very well may be people out there who like this, but please get a sample before committing to full size just in case lol!

I bought this before paying attention to it being referenced to Gucci Floa Orchid. I saw someone like this to Fleur Narcotique. Well it's not at all. And I've smelled Gucci's version, and gave away the sample because I had no interest in it. But I don't care for any designer fragrances. With this when I sprayed this it's quite soapy, and not impressive to my nose. HOWEVER, it turns in to this sweet beauty. The only way I can describe it as pineapple sweet like - not intense though. It definitely makes me interested in picking up Atheeri by Lattafa.

It's annoying when perfume brands assign notes for perfume descriptions inconsistently. There is no peony in the traditional sense in this perfume. Of course peony is a fantasy note, but historically it has been a note that smells related to rose although a little more "fluffy". What I get instead in this perfume, as well as the perfumes it is said to be similar to, is a note more like gardenia, a heady white floral with green undertones. Maybe gardenia is too scary to sell? I don't like this post-truth era in perfume descriptions.

Please tell me this gets stronger. It was a faint skin scent on me after 2 hours 😭
