Pinkling

It opens with a fresh cherry note which reminds me of a lot of bbw body mists.The cherry note is not medicinal and its a sweet soft cherry which fades quickly and after a few minutes turns into a soft milky ambery saffron scent which last forever on the skin. I am planning to layers this with other cherry perfumes. I think its an easy blind buy if u like cherry and saffron scents. To me it feels like an all year round scent. Silly bottle though 😆

Nothing about these notes call to me. I'm not a cherry person, I don't love saffron, and smoke scares me a bit. I don't know what it is, but something about this scent is perfection. The cherry would be too medicinal if not for the saffron. The milk would be too sweet without the amber and musk. I got a sample vial (Mostly to meet a free shipping mark) and didn't realize I would love it so much. This is the right way to do a cherry fragrance.

When I first sampled this, I was so disgusted. It sat for a few weeks, I tried it again and man.... I LOVE THIS! Go figure, another Paris Corner that needs time for everything to come together. All jokes aside, I really dislike the note of cherry in fragrances. However, this comes together so beautifully and there's not a hint of cough syrup at all. Definitely gonna get a full bottle. I like this DNA

Okay Pinkling this smells great and it’s totally unisex! But I know this is supposed to be inspired by Sirène Fragrance by Du Bois however I get TF Cherry Smoke vibes a sweet smoky cherry with some woody notes and amber it’s a gorgeous cherry fragrance 🍒🍒

Wow, extremely close to Sirene!!! I am very impressed! There is something slightly different but side by side one on each wrist, the dry down is remarkably identical.

Cherry milk spilled on incense. Sweet, smoky, and oddly addictive. Soft at first, then it gets a little dangerous.

Omg this is so good!! Havent smelled Siren but if it smells half as good as this i understand the hype!❤️So sexy!

This is unisex. This is a smoky tart cherry mixed with Hypnotic Poison EDP. And if I'm referring HP EDP then I have to mention Dior Homme Parfum because both were done the same year by Françios Demachy. And if you smell both of them you can tell they are heavily related. I got both in 2016. HP for myself DH for my husband. I find both of those fragrances to be unisex. HP EDP leans feminine and DH Parfum leans masculine. Pinkling sits in the firmly in the middle. Saying all of this to say I know those smells and if my nose connects the dots that what my perception is based on and I'm not pulling it out of thin air. The tartness fades from the cherry somewhat but it's smoky cherry plus the aforementioned scents. Sure, there are different nuances but in general if you like those fragrances and you can handle a smoky cherry you'll like this. Goths. Night time. Black. Dark red. Silent types. Alternative. Creatives. Confident. Speeders. Daring. Femme fatales. This won't offend most people but something in this fragrance is off the beaten path. This can take you from the woods to various clubs. Update: This is great. Longevity and sillage are high on my skin. If you hate the pink cap the Origen's gold cap fits like a charm. Application update: I noticed if sprayed close to the skin Pinkling smells more like cherry incense. The further away the cherry incense is cherry smoke and I can actually pick up the milk note lending a creaminess. Not super strong but finally noticable to my nose. So, I think it matters how you spray it on.

The reviews here seem kinda dramatic. I didn't get any burnt tires, medicine, cough syrup, greenness, nail polish, pickle liquid, beer, booze or auto parts. It is neither cloying, screechy nor juvenile for me. I do get a woody, smokey, incensey, light, sweet cherry. That's pretty much it. Edit: more sniffing and the opening kind of reminds me of a cherry juice flavoured Queen of Silk! Perhaps the saffron is responsible for that similarity. The name is funny, makes me think of piglets or a name for your new hamster. The packaging is giving a Paperchase fake-book Jane Austen/Bridgerton style storage box and the neon pink diamond had fallen off the flapperesque bottle inside, but no fear, I have blue-tacked it back in to place. The packaging feels Spring -like but the fragrance itself is more Autumnal/nighttime. It's pretty nice and as it has been recommended for leaving to sit, I will leave it to sit and see how it matures for the Autumn. Have not tried Sirène. Moderate projection and longevity.

I just got Pinkling and it is straight up Side Effect by Initio (I own a bottle from 2024 batch). I am surprised no one mentioned the similarity. It is a slightly lesser dense version of SE but the performance is similarly nuclear both in sillage and lasting power. Still lingering after 24 hr on my clothes and stayed on my skin for 10 hrs. Perfectly unisex with great quality and amazing performance: it develops smoothly without the sharp alcohol opening too often present in middle eastern fragrances. However, the bottle is atrocious. Maybe my opinion will change in time once the perfume settles and matures but, at the moment, to my nose Pinkling is NOT a dupe for Sirene but definitely a beautiful rendering of Side Efffect.

There are noticeable differences between Pinkling and Siréne, i try to list them: Pinkling has a disgusting medicinal cough syrup opening, while Siréne has a balsamic-spicy cherry, the quality difference is present here. In the drydown you can still recognize differences. 30 mins after spraying until 2 hours Siréne turns fresher, greener, while Pinkling becomes milky sweet incense cherry (like TF cherry smoke with milk). After that they are almost identical, but Pinkling stays sweeter. Sniffing them after 4 hours Siréne is quite faded, Pinkling is still performing. Apart from the opening, Pinkling won this competition.🏆 There's no reason to purchase the 250€ perfume here.

The bottle and packaging are silly, but I wonder if the designers intended it to be that way. I heard about this fragrance from a content creator and it was cheap enough that I was willing to blind buy. This may be marketed as feminine, but to my nose it leans way more masculine. Nice smoky cherry with an ambery dry down. It's nothing ground-breaking, but I will say it leaves a nice scent trail with about 6-7 hour longevity on skin. Great for any season. I think this one is a keeper.

This fragrance is so beautiful, nuanced and rich. It's a niche fragrance for a fraction of the price. It's a little sweet however the smokiness tones down and give so much depth to the sweet notes. A perfect unisex scent imo. But the bottle... The bottle is so ugly and in no way does it represent the fragrance. Update 5 months later: It's even better now, the incense is toned down and it's creamer and airier. Give this one time!

First impressions: Starts off with Beautiful sweet florals with a strong note of beer. Then the florals and fizzy beer note starts to tone down. Finally you're left with Lattafa's Ajwaa, Mashra Bya, Tobacco & Honey, Side Effects. All are Smoking Hot Dna. Will update after maceration.

Juicy, dark red cherries in an auto parts store. Unfortunately, I've noticed that saffron tends to go very rubbery on my skin. Combined with the smoke note, I find this fragrance to be pretty masculine-leaning. Thankfully, I had the foresight to get a sample of this fragrance, because I LOVE the bottle design! Something about the retro, Art Deco revival style is just so appealing to me.

If you want to smell like incense-y potpourri go for it. Milk note is non existent to me. Stays on forever end of the day and I can still smell it. 2 sprays on each wrist. By now it's getting annoying and I really want it to go away. I don't love it nor hate it. Saying it how it is, haters gonna skate.

Beyound the Smell , so lets talk about "the uglyest bottle " and if as a Man , how can i explain "whos perfume is this!" to anyon :)

I have never seen a more mismatched bottle in my life but I’m not complaining because I’m head over heels with the fragrance. While the bottle gives pink girly girl, the fragrance itself gives off dark and seductive energy. The smoke and the cherry combo is intoxicatingly sexy. If burgundy was a smell it would be this. It really is a unisex scent, at times the smokiness and benzoin makes it lean masculine but then the tartness of the cherry and the creamy milk note add the femininity back into it. I have smelt sirene du bois before and this is VERY close but I couldn’t justify dropping £250 on it. Now I won’t bother going back for the OG because Pinkling has given me everything I need.

Opening is kinda horrendous with synthetic cloying juvenile super-sweet cherry and booze. Cherry fades a bit later and the incense kicks in, which is a bit better with the booze but still not enjoyable. I'll let it sit, maybe it'll turn out better in colder months.

Burnt tires + some greenness, and sweet notes that fight attention. It's dry and screechy. Not what I usually like, but on a bright side - it's not expensive, so better try this instead of paying for the OG and regret.
