Wild and Tobacco

I love Mancera Red Tobacco Intense. I have never smelt the originsl Mancera Red Tobacco, as the opening sounds absolutely horrid. I read this is a great alternative as it had a much smoother opening. The opening you get a strong dose of cinnamon, green apple, saffron and pear with some smoky guaic and oud. The tobacco is prominent Everything listed is so spot on. The opening is very nice. The apple and pear are very crisp but not overly fruity. The smoky oud and guaiac really tame it. The tobacco and cinnamon while strong doesnt doninate the rest. As it dries, the cinnamon and saffron subdues. It has a fizzy cola slightly cherry smell, not super intense. The tobacco is rich. Mildly sweet. Later you can smell soft vanilla and amber. The vetiver and musk is thete but its skin scent where the tobacco and guaic ate the strongest of the base notes. I get no jasmine in this despite it listed. If its there, everything overpowers it. This is a great dupe and from what I have read, alot of people prefer this over the mancera because the opening on this is alot smoother, less harshly synthetic and creamier, and less fruity. Great value for price. Longevity is great, hours on I can smell it and the sillage is radiating a room. *UPDATE: even after a shower, I can smell the vanilla, musk after 24 HOURS! The smoked tobacco note finally disappeared after about 16-18. This is 1-2 sprays on body. My hoodie still has a prominent smoked vanilla musk after 24 hours and i never even sprayed it! This is just from wearing it over the perfume! This stuff is amazing If you love red tobacco DNA, this is an affordable high quality perfume.

This one really surprised me, got it to get free shipping. There were no expectations and the first spray caught me off guard. Sweet, tobacco and some depth . I had sprayed Terra and a bunch of other fragrances in the same room and this one was always the most prominent one. Very pleasing, not alcoholic but strong. Very strong. I mean like you could smell it in the air for 4 days straight on a piece of paper strong. I think it was like 14€ for 75ml. A bargain if you also me. I would have paid 20 to 25€ for it, and for its value I would see this in 40€ territory. Is it close to RT? I have both and can only say it's more like an inspired version of it. Less tobacco, no development and less sweetness. The only similarities are the projection and staying power. Both perform solid from 10am to night time, no problem. Nonetheless it is very well made and goes it's own way. W&T does not have to smell 1:1 like RT to be a good fragrance. Would I get this again? 100% Is it still available or gets produced? Not sure, because I cannot find it anymore in the EU. So grab it if you can.

You know I love tobacco fragrances so much that I was actually contemplating spending the money for Mancera Red Tobbaco, because every body says it's a beast and smells great(so at least I'd wouldn't feel so bad for spending the dough). Well I found out there were dupes and I decided to get this one because it was super available and cheap. I'm glad I didn't spend the money in the real thing, but not because I don't like this(I love it actually), but because if I had spend that much money only to have a fragrance marginally better than Bogart Pour Homme, or Cuba Red I would have been disappointed. Don't get me wrong I love this stuff it performs great, it's so spicy, awesome tobacco, and with just a tiny bit of sweetness to hold it all together. I would buy this all day everyday, and I'm sure the real deal smells more complex and probably performs even better, but I don't feel it's necessary.

So I love Wild and Tobacco. I find myself using it in layering a lot with other scents, it really adds a lot of depth to a good gourmand/vanilla vibe. The lasting power is very good but not overwhelming with projection in my opinion which is why I love using it as a base for scents like Rifaqat and Mod Fragrances Tobacco Vanille.

Wow! So many votes against Red Tobacco???! Go figure - people are weird. Ironically a less synthetic and better performing version. Yep. Thats it. And cheaper! And votes for Mystery Tobacco... nah 🙄 only very remotely...
