Can Can Burlesque

Just blind bought this at Ross for $17. Can Can Burlesque is a very pretty, gentle scent that has plenty of sweet raspberry, nectarine, soft, clean musk, and a spritz of sweet orange/clementine. Powdery and fluffy, it would be good for hot summer days, occasions when you don't want to overwhelm anyone with your fragrance, or even for wearing to bed. It reminds me a lot of Dolce & Gabbana Pour Femme (with the burgundy top), except Pour Femme has a subtle marshmallow note while CCB is slightly fruitier but still very powdery. My only complaint is that the longevity is not so good; it lasted about 90 minutes on my skin. This is definitely one to spray on clothes and in your hair, and to reapply often. I think it's really lovely if you enjoy gentle, powdery, sweet perfumes and/or want an inexpensive alternative to D&G Pour Femme. Overall, I really enjoy some Paris Hilton perfumes. Dazzle is a gorgeous cherry, Fairy Dust, a pretty white floral (says gardenia, but I get a lot of tuberose, like in the original Juicy Couture), Siren is an apricot/honeysuckle tropical thing, and Rose Rush, a lovely, fresh litchi/rose. Other than these ones, and Just Me -- which I didn't like -- I haven't tried any others. But they are ubiquitous at Ross and Burlington -- two places I regularly go trawling for new scents -- so I have a feeling Can Can Burlesque is not the last Paris Hilton scent I will try! :)

I was supposed to buy Meow by Katy Perry because I am a fan of gourmand scents (esp when layered with powdery or citrus scents, and this perfume lasts for as much as 7 hours! I even took a bath, and it was very impressive. But when I went to our local SM Watsons store, it was already sold out (within a week!golly). So I searched for a new perfume. Enter Can Can Burlesque by Paris Hilton. When I first sprayed it on, I WAS HOOKED. I know that pink champagne and VANILLA was really not on the notes list, but that was what I smelled, even like the MEOW perfume on the dry - down(anyone else?). With a kiss of raspberry, and clementine, it borders on being sweet, fruity, and gourmand.Only downside I noticed,(not really major, though)was that it only lasted for 4-5 hours on me. Anyhoo, a lovely scent for casual days in school or a lunch date with a guy you really like. But don't get me wrong, it doesn't smell overly sweet like those annoying cologne highschool students usually wear. It's luscious, and yummy, that I am oftentimes tempted to lick my own wrist.

I was so indifferent on buying this, because of what people said this smelling just like the original Can Can, but in my opinion they are only 75% the same. IMO Burlesque has more depth, than the original Can Can. Burlesque is more candy like, than the original. It's more like cotton candy to me. The original has the Nectarine, black current, and amber smell which is a little more darker. Burlesque is a lighter version IMO. I know a lot of people say Burlesque isn't original, but I'm glad she made Burlesque, because I prefer it over the original. Burlesque is one of my favorite perfumes by Paris Hilton. I don't care what people think about me liking, more like loving Paris Hilton's perfumes. I also think Burlesque is a lighter version of Dazzle. I really want Paris to make a night time perfume ( Even though I wear Dazzle in the evening as well as the day time ). My favorite perfumes by Paris. 1. Dazzle 2. St. Moritz 3. Heiress 4. Can Can Burlesque 5. Passport Paris. Overall I give Can Can Burlesque a 10/10.

Can Can Burlesque garners me a lot of compliments. Today a stranger stopped me in the grocery store to ask what I was wearing that smelled so good. She raved on and on about it. That is very unusual for me. Personally, love this smell. It's comforting and pretty. No, it's not niche or even designer quality, but it smells wonderful and cheers me up. Sweet fragrances like this improve my mood. The raspberry is great here. It's very sugary, not the tart raspberry of Armaf Italiano Vivo. It's more of a powdery pop tart with caramel. This is a whole lot sweeter than the notes would lead you to think. Definitely a caramel or dulce de leche note in there not on the listed notes pyramid. Almost as if it shares base notes with JS Fancy. Great sweet scent & compliment magnet🍭🎂

Oh, this is a beautiful cheapie that smells sweet, fruity, and clean. It's that hard to find combination of interesting yet inoffensive. Orchids and sweet raspberry jam. The orchids make it feminine and floral. The raspberry is jammy and sweet. What a great combination. This is my second review, but that is because Can Can Burlesque is so wearable and pretty. Only thing I don't get is the marketing. Can Can dancing, burlesque shows - sounds like it would be tawdry. But no. It's sweet and feminine like a baby pink cashmere cardigan with pearl buttons. "Baby Pink" or "Candy Hearts" would have been better names. Treat yourself to a Valentine's blind buy because this is a very sweet romantic candy hearts kind of fragrance.

I just got this today! I think I like this just a little better than the original Can Can. It's less powdery on my skin and is has more fruity notes, which I enjoy. Like the original, it's very sweet, but Burlesque seems to last longer. The scent is pretty close to the original, with slight differences, but the good thing about that is that you can wear the original Can Can lotion with Can Can Burlesque so the scent will last longer. Burlesque is more fruity, while the original is very light. If you just put a bit of the lotion on your wrists and spray the perfume over it, the effect is good. Also, the packaging and bottle are gorgeous. Better than the original, in my opinion. I definitely recommend this perfume.

i remember absolutely drenching myself in this mist in the seventh grade locker room. the lid is cracked because i used it that much, and i still love it! overall, it's a very youthful, fun, and flirty fragrance. it’s very, very sweet, but in a non-suffocating way. personally, i think it's worth it for the price, and it also doesn’t have the synthetic quality that cheaper fragrances tend to have. while it doesn’t have great lasting power, the fragrance feels pretty well-rounded, and i am in love with the raspberry in it. don’t buy this scent if you dislike raspberry! i’ve worn it all year round, and it doesn’t change that much depending on the season, but i think it’s perfect for spring or summer.

This was a blind buy (as are most of my PH and Britney fragrances) This is such a bright, fun fragrance. Youthful without being juvenile, which seems to be the case with most of PH’s line. Nothing groundbreaking, but an inoffensive, sweet, fruity and delicately musky scent. Good for daytime or the office. Not what you’d want if you wanted a sexy or memorable vibe from your perfume. Like most of Paris’ fragrances, longevity and sillage isn’t impressive, but they are so cheap that you can re-spray. I like to decant mine into travel sprayers and refresh halfway through the day.

Smells alot like the original can can, however this is alot more fruitier, which i think makes it better! Smells like candy and raspberry when i first put it on. People who smell it on me love it and tell me it smells like candy ! Ive had a lot of people compliment me on this perfume and the original can can. It smells so delicious and lasts WAY longer then prada candy and juicy couture and not to mention, its alot more afforable ! Ive become a fan of paris hilton perfume, i cant stop smelling myself and people cant stop smelling me :)

This should've been named Can Can Sheer. It's a lighter cleaner version of the original Can Can. I love both of them equally, I don't even have a preference. They are both gorgeous. Why I waited so long to try these out I'll never know but I'm so glad I finally gave them a chance. I had no idea I was missing out on such masterpieces 💗. Thank you Paris for creating these😻 btw they work in cool, warm, and hot weather. Very difficult to find fragrances that work well in more than one season or weather type.

Beautiful delicious sweet scent that you can wear even in the worst heat and this still smells perfect. Very pink raspberry smelling. Sweet & fruity bubble gummy scent with lots of raspberry and nectarine. The sweet wild Orchid and the elegant blonde woods gives a cozy depth to the composion. Can Can Burlesque is one of those fragrances that is effervescent and uplifting. The sillage is lovely, and it provides a happy deliciously lovely scent-bubble for hours.

Another SWEET concoction from Miss Hilton, and I LOVE it! Haha! My sweet fetish continues with this FRUITY, a bit tart in the top, and SUGARY confection of pure deliciousness. It is very similar to the original. I mean, INCREDIBLY similar! Haha! But, I still love it just the same. If you live for sweet, it's great fun. And you can't go wrong for the price. Oh, and I found it at Perfumania. : )

This is a lovely scent that I am really enjoying right now. It's decadent and sweet. On me, the musk is the most pronounced note. The hints of orchid and clementine, although a bit more subtle, is a nice blend that comes through on me also. It has a little to moderate longevity. I find that I have to reapply a lot sooner than I'd like to. But it’s still high on the likeability scale for me.

To me there are differences between Burlesque, and the original, you can definitely smell the musk in this, to me it's not as sweet as the original, and you get that green note in this which is cassis, I feel like Burlesque is more powdery than the original due to the musk, and orchid mix. I like the smell of the original body lotion the most, it has this nice creamy smell.

This one has always been a repeat purchase for me and a compliment getter lol Lots of raspberry,nectarine and musky goodness....it’s fruity and almost a candy like smoky scent on me and any time I go out wearing this I’ll always get asked about the perfume I’m wearing and when I say it’s from Paris Hilton people are always shocked!

I received this in the mail today and it is gorgeous! It does smell similar to the original Can Can, but like another reviewer said, it is woodier a bit. I am glad that I have this one as well as the original, but I was hoping for more of a different variation of Can Can. This is great though, especially for a long lasting scent.

Beautiful sweet scent you can wear even in the worst heat. It's 100°F today, and this smells perfect. Very pink raspberry girlie smelling, which I love right now. This perfume has Barbie® energy - seriously, it smells like what a Barbie would wear. Delighted to wear and enjoy this one! (3rd review because I love this. 10/10)

I just got this after finishing Can Can and had missed it over the last couple months, so I went with Burlesque. I'd recommend this over Can Cam because it's sweeter and the bottle is cuter, but the drydowns are basically the same. Beautiful, powdery, soft, sweet, absolutely gorgeous!

I really like this one. It reminds me of Confetti Daydream of Bath and body. I like mixing them together because they complement each other well. Both have the raspberries and tiny bit of sweet spice. I am addicted to these type of scents.

Nice smell. Delicate and fruity. It’s a sister to can can, they are similar, but yet different. That one is stronger and has like more depth. It’s like can can was a base. Don’t get me wrong, great base, on some days better and enough.
