Platinum Rush

This is a delicious fragrance; it's beautiful. I mostly get the apple, mango, watery notes, a bit of the cashmere musk, and the amber. I get a lot of amber, and it adds a lot to the fruitiness and supposed aquatic accords. I was hoping to get more out of this because I am in love with this fragrance. Don't let the notes fool you -- it isn't super fresh, it's actually so sexy. The thing is, it doesn't last at all... in the heat, at least. It was almost 90 today and I walked outside for a while. I have high hopes for the longevity in the colder months, though. It doesn't feel like a summery or wintery fragrance to me; it'll work year-round. I don't think I can even smell it on my dress anymore.😢I sprayed some on around 10:30 AM and it's 3 PM as I'm writing this. I haven't really been able to smell it all day. I layered it with a body butter that tends to last all day long on me (Narcissist from Buff City Soap), so maybe the butter simply overpowered it; but from the bottles, Platinum Rush seems stronger. I'm not sure. Still in love with this scent though! Hopefully I'll remember to update this review when I wear it later on. 😎

It took fragrantica long enough to add this to their data base lol. But I'm so pleased with the composition of this fragrance. Upon the first spray i can detect the apple and then some floral notes and it dries down to this nice soft musky scent which must be the cashmere musk. I received this fragrance about a week or so prior to it being released because there was a few listings on eBay, which i didnt know at the time was a stolen bottle from where ever it was being stored, until i posted the bottle on Instagram and was contacted by someone from Paris's team inquiring where i got it from since it wasn't officially out yet. We conversated but there were no hard feelings and i purchased another from Perfumania when it came officially not out of guilt( maybe just a little lol), but i wanted a brand new factory sealed bottle because the fragrance is just that great. Overall, the scent has moderate longevity and silage. I get about a good 5 hours on my skin. I'll rate this fragrance a 9/10 only because Gold Rush is my first favorite out of this line.

"Platinum Rush" is a bright, musky and fresh fragrance that is worthy of being in my perfume wardrobe. Some years ago when I first tested this, it smelled like a lush, musky bright red apple. A few years later and a more mature palate, I was enveloped by a natural dewy pear with a lovely mango/apple note that dances merrily with the floral, orchid and green undertones. As a well blended fragrance "Platinum Rush" works well in Caribbean climate where you go from the hot streets to the coolness of air-conditioning. With a tad bit of soapiness and sharpness, "Platinum Rush" lasts a good nine hours on my skin. Its not that sweet, therefore there is a bit more sophistication. There is nothing to dislike about this gorgeous glitzy bottle, so made for a feminine boudoir. This fragrance is good for a business lunch or a date and I see "Platinum Rush" as a worthy addition to ones beauty routine.

This is different than any perfume she has done up to this release. I am very impressed. This is Unisex to me. I think her perfumes as a Celebrity, is the only Celebrity Perfume line worth the $60 per bottle at retail. Most of her perfumes you can buy for $30 and under online. I also love most of her bottles designs, very elegant. This scent lasts at least 6 hours on skin. Longevity is moderate, just right not too heavy. I took a break buying her perfumes, and I am glad that, I took the chance, and bought this perfume. I think her perfumes could sell well at Macy's if she was given the chance, it's really sad you can't find many Celebrity perfumes at big department stores. I am very grateful for the celebrity perfumes we still do get on a yearly basis, because it's not even half of what we once had 5 years ago in 2015, it's changed that much, and it's very unfortunate.

This freshie has a fantastic pear note. It’s blazes hot outside so I’m wearing this today. Awesome, clean, fruity, aquatic. I see this resembles Bombshell, and I have Loveswept by Philosophy which is also compared to it. This is like a pear version, Loveswept is the passion fruit version but I love them both. Platinum Rush projects much better and lasts 4-5 hrs, and has a clean, fresh-showered vibe which is definitely appreciated right now! P.S. I hate the bottle with a passion. I think I subconsciously reach for it less so I don’t have to touch the rough sparkly stuff. So tacky. Sorry if you like it; to eachvtheir own!
