Platinum Rush

This is a delicious fragrance; it's beautiful. I mostly get the apple, mango, watery notes, a bit of the cashmere musk, and the amber. I get a lot of amber, and it adds a lot to the fruitiness and supposed aquatic accords. I was hoping to get more out of this because I am in love with this fragrance. Don't let the notes fool you -- it isn't super fresh, it's actually so sexy. The thing is, it doesn't last at all... in the heat, at least. It was almost 90 today and I walked outside for a while. I have high hopes for the longevity in the colder months, though. It doesn't feel like a summery or wintery fragrance to me; it'll work year-round. I don't think I can even smell it on my dress anymore.😢I sprayed some on around 10:30 AM and it's 3 PM as I'm writing this. I haven't really been able to smell it all day. I layered it with a body butter that tends to last all day long on me (Narcissist from Buff City Soap), so maybe the butter simply overpowered it; but from the bottles, Platinum Rush seems stronger. I'm not sure. Still in love with this scent though! Hopefully I'll remember to update this review when I wear it later on. 😎

It took fragrantica long enough to add this to their data base lol. But I'm so pleased with the composition of this fragrance. Upon the first spray i can detect the apple and then some floral notes and it dries down to this nice soft musky scent which must be the cashmere musk. I received this fragrance about a week or so prior to it being released because there was a few listings on eBay, which i didnt know at the time was a stolen bottle from where ever it was being stored, until i posted the bottle on Instagram and was contacted by someone from Paris's team inquiring where i got it from since it wasn't officially out yet. We conversated but there were no hard feelings and i purchased another from Perfumania when it came officially not out of guilt( maybe just a little lol), but i wanted a brand new factory sealed bottle because the fragrance is just that great. Overall, the scent has moderate longevity and silage. I get about a good 5 hours on my skin. I'll rate this fragrance a 9/10 only because Gold Rush is my first favorite out of this line.

"Platinum Rush" is a bright, musky and fresh fragrance that is worthy of being in my perfume wardrobe. Some years ago when I first tested this, it smelled like a lush, musky bright red apple. A few years later and a more mature palate, I was enveloped by a natural dewy pear with a lovely mango/apple note that dances merrily with the floral, orchid and green undertones. As a well blended fragrance "Platinum Rush" works well in Caribbean climate where you go from the hot streets to the coolness of air-conditioning. With a tad bit of soapiness and sharpness, "Platinum Rush" lasts a good nine hours on my skin. Its not that sweet, therefore there is a bit more sophistication. There is nothing to dislike about this gorgeous glitzy bottle, so made for a feminine boudoir. This fragrance is good for a business lunch or a date and I see "Platinum Rush" as a worthy addition to ones beauty routine.

This is different than any perfume she has done up to this release. I am very impressed. This is Unisex to me. I think her perfumes as a Celebrity, is the only Celebrity Perfume line worth the $60 per bottle at retail. Most of her perfumes you can buy for $30 and under online. I also love most of her bottles designs, very elegant. This scent lasts at least 6 hours on skin. Longevity is moderate, just right not too heavy. I took a break buying her perfumes, and I am glad that, I took the chance, and bought this perfume. I think her perfumes could sell well at Macy's if she was given the chance, it's really sad you can't find many Celebrity perfumes at big department stores. I am very grateful for the celebrity perfumes we still do get on a yearly basis, because it's not even half of what we once had 5 years ago in 2015, it's changed that much, and it's very unfortunate.

This freshie has a fantastic pear note. It’s blazes hot outside so I’m wearing this today. Awesome, clean, fruity, aquatic. I see this resembles Bombshell, and I have Loveswept by Philosophy which is also compared to it. This is like a pear version, Loveswept is the passion fruit version but I love them both. Platinum Rush projects much better and lasts 4-5 hrs, and has a clean, fresh-showered vibe which is definitely appreciated right now! P.S. I hate the bottle with a passion. I think I subconsciously reach for it less so I don’t have to touch the rough sparkly stuff. So tacky. Sorry if you like it; to eachvtheir own!

This is a beautiful happy fragrance, very easy to wear, smells like fresh fruits and flowers of summer! Very feminine and elegant. I was looking for a good affordable summer fragrance that doesn ́t smell like lemons or oranges, I sprayed many perfumes on test strips and this one was just standing out. Wearing it makes me feel feminine and pretty. I will wear this to work this summer, there is something very uplifting and positive about this scent that makes me want to be productive :)

This is just a beautiful clean,aquatic,fruity floral perfume....a very safe blind buy too. You truly can’t go wrong with this perfume and the bottle just like all the bottles in the Rush line are so pretty. Longevity and sillage are moderate on me, This one is wearable year round too!

Very good perfume, not just smells good (fresh and zesty), but also lasts 10+ hours on skin, can feel it on myself all the time. Reminds me Bombshell by VS, which is one of my favorites too. Closer to unisex fragrance side to me.

The red apple is more prominent around 60 degrees spring day. It’s usually masculine smelling in all other season and weather but warm spring it’s more juicy and fresh. It does smell wet.

One of the few Paris Hilton scents that I would describe as "typical." I wouldn't go as far as to say it's a disappointment...but I will say that it's probably the least interesting scent she's released in a while or possibly of her collection. And i'll also say right out of the gate that both "Gold Rush" and "Rosé Rush" are MUCH better than this one. So this scent? It's an aquatic-musky-floral with a definite fruity tone, mostly the apple coming out in that department. It's good. It's clean. It's pretty. It's BEEN DONE BEFORE. I agree with those who voted for this being similar to "Pitbull Woman" in the white bottle. It smells VERY similar to that one. Not bad. Actually, it's pleasant. But it's not "Paris-Hilton-Collection-Worthy." She's done so much better than this. Best indications for this scent? If you want a "dumb-reach" scent to avoid using your expensive or designer perfumes on days you're just running to the grocery store. I can also see this being a refreshing scent in the spring / summer. It's got a nice-for-warm-weather feel to it. Also a safe gift option for a younger woman and a great option for a young teenager's first perfume. Longevity - 4 hours or so. 5 If oversprayed. Sillage - 2-3 feet. Overall Score - 7/10 I use it rarely but I voted above with a like because it is a pretty perfume. Just not amazing or unique. Bottle is beautiful though for those of you who care about that. Really beautiful actually.

I received Platinum Rush body mist, as a birthday gift, recently. I wore it as my Christmas Eve scent. I really enjoyed it as I worked around my home, preparing for Christmas. It is fruity, musky—and crowd-pleasing. Paris Hilton’s products are great—one of my favorite houses—to date—for cosmetics and fragrance. Very feminine, floral, and clean...with great projection! I believe this to be a safe blind buy. Edit: I recently purchased the perfume to go along with the body mist, and I really am enjoying it. I layered both the perfume and body mist together. What I ended up with is a long-lasting, sharp, leathery, aquatic fragrance--with a touch of red apple and pear. The cashmere musk and amber help to elevate the maturity of the perfume--and its lasting power. Platinum Rush wraps you in a lovely scent bubble that lasts and lasts. Spray freely on skin and clothing. You will be smelled wearing Platinum Rush. This fragrance has a very elegant touch to it. The elegance makes it appropriate to wear this fragrance on special occasions during the day, along with some special nighttime activities. It is, also, casual enough to wear to get the car washed or run to the grocery store. This is for the glamorous and sophisticated woman--ready to tackle the world and smell good while doing it! Scentmojis: 🧊🌺🦢 Just when I begin to think my love of perfume is misplaced—when I’ve been wearing perfumes that give me headaches or make me sick, or ones where the notes just becomes too much after a while . . . just when I’m at that point of giving up on perfume, I find a scent like this. Paris Hilton perfumes are just consistently good. 🙌 They punch way above their weight for their price points and are much easier to wear than more expensive, luxury scents. Platinum Rush is a lovely addition to the lineup. This perfume is on the cool side, though not quite as icy-fresh as the original Paris Hilton perfume (which I also love). This one is a sweeter, less floral, and more watery. A nice scent for warm weather but I’m wearing it in winter and still loving it. VS Bombshell and Ralph Lauren Ralph are in the same neighborhood as this but this is not a dupe of those scents—Platinum Rush is its own beautiful creation.

I blind bought this because it was a very good price at Ross. The reviews here made me wonder if I had made a mistake, but on trying it I'm okay with it. With one spray, it starts off just like Victoria's Secret Bombshell, but softer. To me, because I do like Bombshell type scents, there's nothing intrusive or unpleasant for me. I can't pick out individual notes. It quickly goes to the dry down stage where it is different than Bombshell, it's soft, pretty, and reminds me of something I can't place, maybe a shampoo or something. But I like it! I think the dry down is the best part. For the bottle, I'm not the biggest fan because it's covered in glued on sparkles and a few came off on my hand, and I just don't like spreading sparkles around. If the sparkles were embedded in the glass perhaps it would be better. So overall, even though I thought I didn't like aquatic fragrances, it is a like from me.

I was curious about this scent after seeing Paris promote it on Patrick Starr's YouTube video. I could only find it on eBay so it had to be a blind buy. It was worth the risk. This is the first I've enjoyed a Paris Hilton scent in quite a few years. It's soft and sweet but not too sweet and little fruity and a little powdery. It's not stomach ache inducing like CanCan. Its office safe. I wore it in early fall while the weather was still fairly warm then going into winter. Its a good cold weather scent too. I don't know if I'd like it as much in summer heat. Longevity is decent for this type of scent. It last most of the day. I thought the bottle was weird but I grew to like it. It almost looks like an academy award. And thankfully the glitter doesn't fall off.

For me this was a moderately succesful blind buy. Watery fruits, green white florals and a bunch of musk with a touch of amber to sweeten it up🫧 it has something sexy about it and I find it leans more femenine but I agree on the unisex vibe, win win for me; it's pretty soft on my skin, not much sillage and it also lasts about 4 hrs but you can definitely smell it, it's pretty affordable and somedays a soft and short living perfume is just what you need y'know? I like to wear it to sleep, was planning to give it away but it has been growing on me quite a bit. I'm on the fence about these bottles, it's definitely cuter in person but some days I don't really care about how it looks whilst other days it really catches my eye 👀

La botella de este perfume es muy bonita, evidentemente me recuerda a las botellas de perfume de JPG, me parece que podría ser una fragancia unisex. En cada salida las notas son diferentes y en mi piel el perfume no dura mucho. Compré la edición que trae el body mist y ambos huelen diferente en sus notas de salida. A mi la verdad me gusto y lo uso a veces para dormir. La mezcla entre la pera y la manzana verde con los tonos acuáticos hacen de esta fragancia algo ligero, delicioso, fresco y limpio, pero repito su duración no es la mejor, quizás por el precio, aun así habiendo otros perfumes de Paris que si tienen mas longevidad.

I got this scent for Christmas. It's not what I was expecting at all! It is bright and crisp and has a masculine note to it. It reminds me of some scent from the 90's but I just can't remember what! I'm not sure if it was a shampoo, body spray, perfume, cologne, air freshener, etc... Either way it feels a bit nostalgic to me which I like! This scent doesn't seem to last too long. To be fair though I haven't found any perfume that lasts a long time. My skin seems to devour scents. On me this lasts about 3 hours. Overall this is a pleasant, happy scent. I would recommend. Gold rush is still my favorite out of the Rush scents.

a very nice clean and fresh scent! definitely nothing groundbreaking but i wouldn't expect it to be for $20 - although i should add i think the bottle is gorgeous for that price! looks much more expensive than it is. a very light green freshness with fruity (mainly get the red apple and mango) flourishes. i think it'd make a lovely and inoffensive office or everyday scent. unfortunately it doesn't last long, but at the price point you can afford to spray throughout the day if you'd like. also for those who don't enjoy patchouli, i don't smell it at all in this despite it being listed as a note, so don't let that deter you.

This is a nice fresh, fruity, watery, sweet fragrance. Not a dupe at all of DKNY Be Delicious but would be in that same family of fruity freshies. It’s very safe and inoffensive and pleasant. It would be a good “no brainer” scent to reach for when you’re not sure what to wear. My only gripe with it is that the gorgeous mango is only present when I sniff it from the bottle, but when sprayed completely nonexistent. It smells a lot fruitier and sweeter in the bottle, a bit of a soapy quality after it’s sprayed. This one is very hard for me to distinguish the notes from one another- they kind of all jumble together.

Again, the bottle is gorgeous. The pear, apple make a very present appearance and make it seem clean and adult. It's a bit of a copy of Selena Gomez's "Vivamore". Again my frustration with Paris' perfumes, nothing is unique with her. Always a copy of another celeb perfume, or a major "popular" brand. This is a bit more unique with the pear being less heavy and the apple mixture in with a floral undertone, "Vivamore" can be a tad bit heavy on the "cleaner" aspect and make your head hurt. But this also made me sick/get a migraine. I won't be keeping this one either.

This is a nice, fresh, fruity, musky scent. It is reminiscent of VS Bombshell from what I recall, and I think if you like that you will probably like this too. I prefer the Gold Rush version, but that one is better suited for winter. This is a great summer one, or year-round if you are in a warm climate. I am not a huge fan of musk, but I like to layer this with another fruity musky scent that adds just a bit of sweetness that this one is lacking for me, as it can be kind of 'hairspray'-like on my skin when I overspray.

The accords of fruity, aquatic and sweet are accurate. Lots of apple and pear. I wore this to work one day and a coworker of mine thought I was wearing D&G Light Blue. If you like Light Blue, Toy 2, or Bombshell you will enjoy this fragrance as well. Platinum rush shares the same sweet, freshness that all of these perfumes have in common. Lasts around 4 hours on me, arms length projection and does the best in spring and summer.

Platinum Rush is a fun fruity fragrance! It definitely smells likes something out of Victoria's Secret, but better quality and longer lasting. I love the top notes, I get a lot of floral from this which surprised me that I like it. I was expecting the fragrance to be a little fruiter than it is but I'm pleasantly surprised by it. It has an average of 4 hours on my skin, I don't overspray it as it can be cloying.

First: The bottle looks amazing. It is heavy and beautiful, does not feel cheap. The fragrance itself is a very fresh fragrance. It has hints of being fruity but it is more about the aquatic/fresh notes. The longevity is good and the price is right. Would recommend if you like fresh fragrances. Smells like clean, pears, and freshness.

Call me basic idgaf but I absolutely ADORE pear scents.... so delicious! Unfortunately, as amazing as this is, it has almost zero lasting power. Very sad as I would wear the absolute heck out of it otherwise. I find myself reaching for longer lasting pear scents instead, such as Burberry Her (green).

another pretty perfume from Paris Hilton! its the twin sister of VS Bombshell the original.. this lasts 3-4 hours on me in a somewhat cool weather in the middle of January.. this can be a very summery happy scent. I get a lot of the apple & lily of the valley here. simply a 4.5 out of a 5. Nice!!

Lovely scent. Fruity, fresh, light, joyful.Suitable for spring and summer. Not sweet, not air freshener vibes, but clean and fruity. Reminds me of VS Bombshell, but with much better performance. Never thought I would like this one so much. Now I want to buy a set with shower gel and cream too.

The mango note in this smells peachy to me, a bit like Taylor Swift's eponymous perfume. Like others have noted, this is light, white, and sparkling. Gorgeous presentation and a pleasant scent that, while not unique or spectacular, can fill a void in a fragrance collection.

Okay this is probably my favorite of Paris Hilton's (that I've smelled/reviewed). I definitely smell the pear, apple, and mango...it's like fruity yet grown up I think? Very fresh and in my opinion worth the price. I'd rate this an 8/10.

Magnolia, pear, aquatic and pretty. I like this one. I've had it on for 4 hours and can still smell it. I saw a few reviews saying it is masculine. I can see why some would think this, but to me it is more feminine. Rate 6/10

So clean and fruity I adore it. The pear, mango, and apple notes are prominent, reminding me of the scent of a freshly cleaned house, but even better. This perfume is light yet has a mature touch to it.

Very fresh and energetic. The notes I get the most are the white florals. Perfect for casual daytime.

Had been eyeing this scent for a while and blind bought it based on the notion that 6 people on here likened this to KKW Beauty's Hearts Silver, which is a gorgeous scent IMO. Y'all played me. LOL I do like this scent, as I believe it can be quite versatile, in a sense that the dry down is indeed unisex. It would smell great on anyone, but what I'm frustrated with about this scent is that it doesn't last more than 15 minutes on me. That's ok, I can spray all day but man. This is a really good scent. I will likely use it to layer with my body sprays from Bath & Body Works to sophisticate them. I will continue to use when it gets colder (I'll be waiting for a while in the SoCal heat) to see if it performs better, and it likely will. Pleasant scent for the office and healthcare workers!

I adore the scent profile, fresh and sweet but definitely MASCULINE. Typical masculine scent. So, not a good blind buy if you are a woman. The bottle is beautiful and as it’s my first Paris Hilton fragrance, I am now interested so I will purchase more. I wouldn’t wear this as I want to smell feminine and pretty and this smells more like a male aftershave. Too bad I can’t gift it to my dad, because of the bottle lol.

This beautiful but to my nose it's lacking something and doesn't last long. I layered this with my Lys Mediterranee by Frederic Malle and also before I spray my perfume combo I wear Fresh Cut Lilacs by Bath&Body Works. This way it gives it that "Zing" effect. Otherwise, I would not buy it again after I finish my last spray.

Platinum Rush=VS Bombshell. Not a bad thing by any means, it’s been a wildly popular fragrance for years, and I do find it pleasant on others most of the time. I personally find it cloying in warm weather, it ends up smelling like the girl’s locker room did in high school.

Unfortunately this smells so much like a room spray I had in college that I would spray after I smoked

💲 I purchased the body mist + perfume set for a great deal; $12 at Burlington. 👃 Took a gamble with the blind buy because all other París Hilton fragrances I’ve smelled before - both male & female - have been good. The body mist and perfume smell completely different from each other, idk what it is. I am wondering if I just got a perfume that was old or at some point sat there cooking in storage because it has this bitter, metallic smell to it like when a fragrance goes bad and the liquid starts oxidizing. The mist on the other hand, smells green & like freshly trimmed stems. I don’t detect any fruit nor sweetness, but I do notice the touch of aquatics lingering in there. There is a sharpness too that makes it borderline masculine, so I think this fragrance can be considered unisex. I am going to keep the perfume just for its decorative bottle, but I won’t be using it. I’ve already given it a few chances; layering it with a couple different perfume oils to tone down the bitterness but the weird metallic smell is just too pungent. I will keep using the body mist, which I have enjoyed layering with ocean breeze perfume oil. It turns into this delicious spa product type scent.

This surprised me because I was expecting a fresh feminine perfume, but according to my nose and experience, this should be listed as a male or unisex perfume. It smells like a typical light, fresh and aquatic perfume for men. It takes me back to my childhood, someone (a man) smelled exactly like this. The bottle is fabulous and I felt like I was 6 years old again opening a christmas present containing the winter-Barbie I had wished for. After smelling it, the bottle ought to be in the shape of Ken ;)

This is my first review, so apologies if I am not very detailed. This smells like a deodorant I used to have in India as a teenager( Engage splash, blue one). It's very aquatic, fresh and floral. I hardly smell any fruits or sweetness in this. Unfortunately, not a safe blind buy since I am a sweet lover in perfumes. Blind bought it from Burlington, so it was quite inexpensive, which is a good thing as I am going to be using this as a room freshener now :(

It’s super fresh and lemonish. Patchouli comes through big time , making it masculine. I was hoping for something different, fruity and not so citrusy. It was a blind buy, I should’ve gotten the body mist instead.

I blind bought this because of the notes, good reviews and the pretty bottle and it's so masculine! Wish I could return it but that's not possible in my country. If you like masculine scents this is for you.

Dislike. Smells cheap and it's not as fruity as I thought (or at all). I'd regret blind buying it if it wasn't for the design/bottle
