Sea of Stars

A blind buy for me... I saw it in a perfume site classed as a niche perfume... Very cheap to buy (under £15 in the UK for 100 ml) It has a feminine sweet feel, I smell the lavender and apple. It is a skin scent, which on me lasts around 60 minutes ... I do love (perhaps even absolutely adore) the smell but the performance is poor so I would be hesitating to buy again. Scent 9/10 Performance 2/10 EDIT: Compliment received at work on 30/03/18 !! EDIT: Compliment received in a restaurant on 31/08/18 !!

Smells amazing but it's so weak.

Very soft powdery lavender, nothing else really. Inoffensive but only about 3 hours longevity. Very calming clean scent.

This one was maybe $16 and the performance is poor, as you should expect from something in this price range. No surprises here. You're going to have to spray a whole lot of this stuff to smell it. My nose isn't good enough to tell you the notes in a fragrance, but Fragrantica lists "Apple, Lavender, and Vanilla", and the Pascal Morabito site says "This citrusy fragrance opens on fresh notes of bergamot rosemary and small grain. In heart, a modern accord blending geranium flowers and the powdery cinnamon leaves path, in the base to sensual wake of cedar wood, sandal wood and vetiver." I don't know what to tell you about what the notes really are. Smells pretty decent, though. Recommended buy in this price range.

Apples and lavender gently embrace a vanilla blanket. This fragrance is linear, sweet and oddly satisfying. It is a bit sharp for the first minute or two but after that it settles into a very wonderful scent that is playful and not super masculine. I find it refreshing, bright and uplifting. It reminds me of thallium but a little more sweet. Sillage and projection are below average but acceptable at this price point. Longevity on my skin is also below average 3 hours,4 on fabric but acceptable. This is not a powerhouse but will garner compliments. Very safe for spring and summer night or day.

First review I'm ever writing, fair warning. I honestly like this scent. Sprayed and let the sun touch it on my skin and I get that lavender vanilla. But in all honesty it's not the best performance. With that being said I think its a great value for the price. I can see this as a quick reach for stepping out for 3 hours, its easy to pull off and wont offend! So overall great price, great scent, short performance. I'd give it a solid 6.5/10
