Sultan Or

This is like a powder puff of sweet skin-like pastel yellow vanilla, almost like duckling down fluff. Although it doesn’t seem to project far on first thoughts it hangs beautifully in the air. When I sniff closer that’s when I get the alien-esque, slight bubble-gum tuberose. I’m not a big fan of any facet of tuberose but I think in this case the sum of this perfume is better than its parts and I still really like it. As it dries slightly it still maintains that translucent yet dense quality - like seeing through whisps of smoke/fog that I quite enjoy. It makes me feel like this would be difficult to overspray. All in all I do enjoy this - there are some similarities to opulent red but I prefer this 1000% more as I do detect that fuzzy warm benzoin, and orange blossom has been dialled all the way up. 7.5/10 Update: this is such a wearable, yellow floral, dandelion pollen powder puff kind of fragrance that is perfect in the sun. I reached for this a lot more than I thought and would and has been one of the perfumes that’s making me begin to reconsider my hatred of tuberose. I still dislike basically all iterations of tuberose however I am considering maybe I’m fine when it’s composed it a very specific way. I feel like if it finishes I might even replace it. 9/10

I blind bought this fragrance, I got it for a great price on sale and I liked the sound of the notes so I took a chance. I didn't even think of looking it up here on fragrantica - which I always do before I buy - I just bought it because the price couldn't be beat. I can't get over how much I love this fragrance! What thrilled me especially is its' likeness to Poeme (I see that I'm not the only one who thinks that!). It doesn't smell identical, it's definitely a fragrance in it's own right, not a knock-off. I don't find it similar to Classique (which is another one of my favorites, I'm a 90s fragrance girl at heart) although I would easily put it in the same fragrance family, and if you love Classique, you probably (at the very least) like Sultan Or. It's very tuberose and ylang ylang heavy on me, and I also get a lot of amber and vanilla. It's such a delicious, sweet floral! I wear this all year round, yes, even in summer. It manages to smell both cheerful and seductive at the same time and it always puts me in a great mood. It's a must try if you like like classic 90s fragrances like Poeme, Classique and Armani Giò!

This is SO LOVELY. Every notes is well balance, gentle, elegant and timeless. Non of the notes is running to the front top screaming "is vanilla" "is citrus". No such things. So hard to describe the perfume content. You need to get one on hand to smell it. You get some mild hidden spice, come with a unique mix of yellow and white flower. Definitely, no pink red flower involve. YOU CAN'T SMELL ANY ALCOHOL from the first spray for a moderate perfume like this! The base note vanilla and amber play a very mild soft role behind the yellow and white flower, some touch of mild spice is in here. Can't tell is ginger but I don't get any cinnamon at all. Is a great match and a touch of uniqueness with beautiful and elegant scent. When come to the dry down. Is a dry powdery but is elegant classic powdery. This is one of my TOP3 from now on! I want to praise the bottle design! Even thought I had Sultan Noir (black cap). But I love this series Sultan bottle. The bottle Cap design match the bottle and the sprayer is high quality. This perfume price is affordable for the scent and the bottle design.

Wow! Wow! Ok this starts off like a grape tuberose! I wish that lasted throughout but this was still a super successful blind buy!! Why? This is a combo of every fav tuberose perfume I’ve ever loved before with a lot of orange blossom. It’s first day wearing but for $20 I can’t complain! I smell good! This is a combo of: libre intense without lavender, my way, paradoxe, Valentino etc etc etc you get it! Yes it’s the typical crowd pleasing orange blossom tuberose maybe? Some vanilla scent..for a steal. Sometimes? That’s all I need! I also IMMEDIATELY thought of poison (my all time fav) but imagine that without the plum? the first thirty minutes lol anyway! My only issue is longevity. But this is just a good one to have around on the days you don’t want to use the good stuff. It’s also great for layering with scents that are super woody or spicy or scents that you feel may be too masculine it fems them up So I would rather buy this for $20 than all the basic perfumes I mentioned above for $100! Just get this instead honestly and save the good one for special ocsssions!

Really like this one. I bought three of Pascal Morabito scents . this by far is my favorite. I have the Rouge, Noir, and the Or .. I’m not sure when baccarat rouge 540 was produced, but the rouge is a dead ringer for it .. this Or is a Great Scent. i’m not sure what it reminds me of . something close to alien but quiet. I can smell Jasmine in this, but subdued. A bit of ginger. something slightly powdery, but not much of it. Citrus but not over bearing.. Smelled orange blossom in the opening and has continued throughout the dry down.. continues to be citrusy/floral on the dry down.. the orange blossom remains constant. definite white floral with citrus . Just very well blended. As for the longevity, I really don’t know yet. maybe have to come back and comment . Right now,this one’s a winner for me..
