Prismé Rouge

I really like this fragrance a lot. On its own legs, it’s a well made fragrance. It has some stark resemblance to BR540, but with some slight differences. This leans a bit more into the woods, paired with the saffron and sweetness. Like another review said, this fragrance feels a bit softer and I feel that is the point. The scent is very pleasing, but not pungent. If anything, the softness and the sillage is really the magic. Compared with BR540, you get a softer, touch more woodsy fragrance that wafts up and gives you subtle whiffs. It lingers in the air like a light cloud. The performance isn’t anything to write home about on this one at least not for me. I have worse, but it doesn’t last that long. I see it as about 4 hours. This can either be great for situations where I don’t want to overbear anyone or if I want longevity, I spray my clothes and hair. I still very much like Rouge a lot and I may need to test longevity a bit more. I bought the Rouge Intense version of this fragrance and it delivers a stronger fragrance with much better longevity. For the price, it’s not terrible at retail considering how much BR540 is. It’s still expensive at retail, but you get something that smells very high quality and so much better than any BR540 clone I’ve encountered (I have all the big ones). In some ways Rouge is different enough as well that I enjoy it on its own. This can be had at Perfumania on sale prices and there are some on eBay and other retailers for cheaper. If you can get one for $90-110, I think it’s a fantastic fragrance with great presentation. I need to test longevity more, but nothing remarkable. If you want something stronger, richer, and lasts longer, go with Rouge Intense. Update: So after not wearing any fragrance for about 12 hours, I had left my shirt hanging in my bedroom that had Rouge on it. When I walked in I could smell a subtle bit of the sweetness in the air and could clearly smell it on my shirt when I got less than a foot away. I think it’s safe for me to say that some of my thoughts on mediocre performance are at least somewhat related to me going nose blind.

Absolutely love the smell, it is very potent. It smells closer to Bond No.9 Tribeca than BR540 to my nose. The scent is strong enough that you will probably go nose blind to it in the first few minutes, it starts to come back as it dries down. I believe this is what other reviews are experiencing when describing it dying after only a few minutes. I wore 9 sprays of it to work (5 initial sprays, 4 because I couldn’t smell it anymore and thought it had died after 30 minutes) and my coworkers said the smell was strong and lingering at their desk even though I myself could barely smell it. I should’ve known it was strong when I could no longer smell it on the atomizer after spraying myself. It still only projects around 4-5hours, and last as a skin scent for around 7-8 hours. I’d rate the scent an 8 out of 10.

BR540 vibes but I would hardly call it a clone. I’ve worn one on each wrist at the same time and they’re just not the same scent to me. I go 80% nose blind to BR540 and it’s clones but I smell this stuff all day when I wear it. It has more woods but also seems more candy-like. My #2 all time favorite, 2nd to LV Ombre Nomade. Don’t pay retail. Check discounter sites, join FB fragrance sell groups, or stop by a local Perfumania or Fragrance Outlet if you have one close by.

I really enjoy this fragrance. To me it is a fresher take on BR540. Lasts until I wash it off and projection is strong. My wife smelled this and immediately bought it because she wanted to smell it on me all the time. In the immortal words of Marshall Field, “Give the lady what she wants!” This an expensive scent but the quality and longevity are very nice and the compliment factor of every scent from this house is high.

It’s nice but really not worth the high price point. You’re better off actually getting baccarat or Ariana’s cloud. It smells nice on the initial spray but becomes almost undetectable soon after. I’ve had it macerating for months but nothing has really changed. It’s best to look on discounted perfume sites if you simply must have it!

Reminiscing Baccarat Rouge but softer and nicer. I do not like the Baccarat Rouge. There’s something in it that nauseating to me, but not this one. Huge silage, but not in your face kind.

Good clone of MFK 540. Too overpriced considering all the other 540 clones.

Smells very similar to BR540 but doesnt last longer than 30min on my skin. Im very disappointed because I paid for it $150 I bought if from Perfumania.

Cockroach motel all the way, so sintetic ans stinky, bottle and the box are so pretty.
