Casual for Men

Sharp citrus zest and spices make up the opening of Casual for Men, and it is joined right away by a floral accord of Jasmine and light Rose. It's fresh and clean with a light soapiness after the first 10 minutes. A very well mixed floral accord brings mostly Jasmine but the Rose does come through. The fresh Rose is very light, it doesn't dominate the scent. To me it is very similar to Oscar for Men, but the peppery background isn't as strong as Oscar's. A light soapiness smooths over the peppery note in Casual and makes it seem slightly sweet, almost fruity, but still sharp. A Mossy note softens the base and at the same time the overall sharpness is aided by a light conifer note that surrounds the fragrance. Well balanced. The base is primarily woods. I like it, it's very elegant. In 4 hours I need to re-apply. It's a Cologne Spray, longevity is average for this type of scent.

It's loud and got muscle for a fresh floral/citrus, I'll give it that. And it's not even bad if used lightly. I see this stuff either getting panned or no attention. It's a shame as it does have merit for what it is. The jasmine, rose and citrus are predominantly what stand out and they work together with a light musk to make what is, in fact, a rather nice smelling cologne. The florals do smell synthetic but the rose in particular isn't half bad. Casual is rather loud. A little goes a long way. 1 or 2 spray at most I'd say and you're good to go. If you don't overapply, Casual is a pretty nice cologne. It's bright and warm. Not boring but not doesn't hold any surprises either. Worth trying.

It is a pity that this fragrance has been discontinued from the PS lineup. I have always enjoyed it, as well as receiving many compliments when i wore it. I really slowed down on my use of what I had left after realizing it was discontinued, and that it is now selling for about 100 dollars a bottle and maybe more as time goes on. If you love this fragrance and are missing it because of affordability... try Ungaro Pour Homme III. It is as close to PS Casual as I can find and it is still reasonably priced. I am telling you... it is a very very close match and I think you would be happy with the Ungaro.

I read the reviews and much people love it. I bought this perfume because of this in a webshop. And when I got and tried.. I was very-very surprised.. It' s terrible.. :( The beginning was a nightmare with so many very sour citrus (this part is like a fly-killer spray) and then came the very synthetic flowers (perhaps a big dose of jasmine and very synthetic rose..worse than a 1 $ airfreshener!) And at this point I began to sneeze from this only 1 spritz.. but I've decided to wait for the drydown...which is a semi-sweet-sour something remembering me my grandfather's cheapest cologne from the '70s..so, after these I took this all with its box to throw it into the dumpster. I don't believe that anybody wants to smell like this horrific mosquito-killer kinda "perfume". Absolutely the worst! I don't recommend anyone!

Just as the name implies - a casual fragrance. Casual for Men is essentially an aromatic citrus fragrance, with a bright, bubbly, and long-lasting (albeit synthetic) citrus/lemon accord with a very subtle funky/animalic note (which smells like indoles, so I'm going to assume the jasmine in this has indolic properties). Really nothing special. I'd say I get about 5 hours out of this, tops, but that's good longevity for a citrus fragrance. I got a bottle of Casual for $12, so I really didn't expect much. It's certainly cheap and it works, but why settle for this when you could save your money to spend a little more on something much more satisfying and natural-smelling like Eau de Rochas Homme or Monsieur Balmain?

Bobby H.I have worn this colonge for years.I get more compliments on this one more than any I have every worn.I have always tried to stock when tjmax would have it.It is a shame one that sells so good and gets the best remarks have been discontinued.
