So for $7, this is a Great scent. I haven't seen it at the discounter I found it at again along with all the other Pecksniffs that I purchased (I also got Classic and Business)... I figured it would be difficult to pass up at the price since I liked the accord description. I do smell grapefruit off the top very strongly. I do not get very much lime or bergamot. The opening is fresh and clean and invigorating, which you would expect by the name of the cologne, Active. I do not get any vetiver, but it could be that it is more Moss that I'm selling. I pick up the Sandalwood and musk in the base quite a bit. For the money, this is as good as it gets... The projection is arm's-length in the last 3 to 4 hours. You can douse yourself in this bottle and make it go further, for the price. I really do enjoy the scent at the opening. I do not believe that this is a very complex fragrance but for what it is it is very well made. I'm surprised I don't see this out more often in retailers. This is definitely a daytime scent for summer weather. Opening 4/5 longevity 2/5 sillage 3/5 The atomizer might be the worst I've ever seen. It is just leaking all over me now when I spray it. The grapefruit really is invigorating.

Great mandarin, cedarwood and a tiny bit of bubblegum in the scent. Very refreshing, perfect for summer. Originally, I thought it's the weakest performing fragrance I've ever had, but after owning it for a month and trying it again recently, I realised its longevity might've increased by the maceration process as it's actually performing much better now. I think projection has been bad anyways from the beginning but the scent remains much longer on my clothes now than before. So, I'd say wait a little bit with this and check it out again after a couple of months. Great cheapie, but it doesn't smell cheap to me as it has a very realistic, refreshing and juicy mandarin smell, so I think it's definitely worth it. Ladies also love it by the way, but probably won't smell it unless they're close. 9/10

Picked this up a few days ago at T.j. Maxx. Smells about 95% like banana republic classic.

I don't get why the bottle says Mandarin but this says bergamot, grapefruit and lime for the top notes. This is a pleasant citrusy scent and I only got it for 8 dollars at TJ Maxx. This is perfect if you're looking for something simple and pleasant. A great warm weather fragrance. This smells just like Mandarin orange and it's fresh and zesty. I do get a little bit of woods as well. This is a nice easy fresh fragrance. Go for it! I give this a 8.4/10

This is ok. A nice cheapie but good performance. It's very similar to boss bottled but the sandlewood makes it more woodier. I don't think the scent itself is amazing but decent for the day. Opening was a bit zesty but then it dries down into an average scent.

My go to gym fragrance. Mandarin, white musk, cedar. Aptly named sports fragrance. Fresh, cool, clean. Mild sillage but pretty good longevity. Perfect for the summer. Good option for the gym. Would buy again, especially at the price paid at Marshalls.

Very pleasant fragrance. Excellent for a mild but warm day. This makes me want drink a citrus punch like Five Alive. I could use this when I want to kick back. Not bad for $6 at T.J.MAXX.

Nothing special but a delightful summer, daytime fragrance...quality ingredients but unfortunately for me, short lived...

Mehhhh. I grabbed this along with "Classic" and Charismatic" at TJ Maxx discounted to like $5-$6 each. Normally I steer clear of super cheap fragrances at rack stores but the packaging on these caught my eye. It's got this book-style box with a (weak) magnetic lid and a spot for holding the bottle - it's a flimsy cardboard cutout rather than a nice foam cutout like you get in a Banana Republic Icon box. The boxes weren't sealed on the shelf, so I was able to try the frags before buying. They smelled... Interesting, not quite like anything in my collection. Not the most amazing things, but I thought, what the heck, I'll scoop them up. I probably shouldn't have wasted my money. I've had them for weeks now and not once have I actually felt like wearing them. They just... Don't smell good quality. I'd most directly compare them to Cremo fragrances, since Pecksniff's also appears to be a men's personal care brand with a line of fragrances, and their regular retail price seems to be around $20 like Cremo. And for me, there's just no comparison. Cremo smells much higher quality and more appealing. Also, despite the kind of nice box, the actual bottle feels really cheap, especially the cap and atomizer. The atomizer works ok, but it just feels like really cheap throwaway plastic. I love rocking Cremo; no interest in wearing these. So basically, I tried some of the frags that sell for pennies at TJ Maxx, and got what I paid for. Oh well, I can hardly complain.

Not particularly unique, but a good scent nonetheless. It's well blended because no one note stands out from the rest. I am surprised there are no floral notes listed, because I swear I detect a geranium and neroli note in this. "Citrus Aromatic" describes this well. It starts off very citrusy, drying down to a soft aromatic scent with a hint of geranium and neroli. Quality of the ingredients seems good, with no blatantly synthetic smells. Overall a good, soft, quiet scent that is subtle, but has excellent staying power on my skin (about 8 hours). Good for summer or spring. My rating: 7.5/10
