Charismatic

Just an FYI - I believe the notes listed here are wrong - at least I pick up none of them,and the notes listed by the manufacturer are tarragon, lime, and musk. I would agree with the manufacturer's list with the exception of musk, which, if it's there must be a subtle white musk. What I do pick up in addition to the tarragon/anise note is a distinctly bitter and sharp artemisia note (and perhaps a peppery freesia note as well). Combined, the effect is not unlike black licorice. Overall, this has a bitter, Mediterranean vibe to me. I like it, but, then again, I tend to like fragrances with bitter edges on them.

Noce spicy oriental. Hints of dior homme sport here but its in its own class. Very inexpensive! A very solid 3.9/5 its almost a 4 . Good for a fast reach

Super strong cheapie, I got it for $5-7 US. Exactly what the bottle says: Lime, Tarragon, and Musk. Notes here are totally incorrect. I actually finished a whole bottle of this. The bottles suck and are usually leaking or broken at the rack stores, haha. I had to put it into a decant to continue using it. I used to layer it with Givenchy Pi and that was absolutely amazing. I didn't collect fragrances at all back then, I just happened to be looking for cheap perfumes and gravitated toward older Cartier and Givenchy scents. If I picked it up Charismatic now, I'd probably use it as a spray to freshen up my sneakers, honestly. That's mostly due to having dozens of designer fragrances after becoming a fragrance fiend. It's honestly a like, but it's strong, synthetic, and not very complex.

Citrus Herby cheapy. Reminds me of a moschino scent. But for £4. I'm not going to mind. Can dab it on clothes or a face covering to freshen it up. Or can use to layer another scent, as it's quite a sharp one that would suit something formulaic and bland like sauvage. I'm quite happy with this tbh

A friend I had dinner with last week messaged me asking what fragrance I'd been wearing. I felt embarrassed because I had to admit to her that, less that a week later, I couldn't actually remember. But, I've found that there's a little cluster of things I keep wearing when it's hot and humid. I know that this wasn't one that I would have been wearing at dinner, but it's one I've been using a lot this year. In truth, it's not a brand that I encounter a lot. I always think of it as one of those 80s brands trying to pass themselves off as a British heritage brand, which probably explains how I came to have it. It was an impulse buy on an impromptu weekend coastal break in a town catering to tourists with little choice. But, in all fairness, it really does the job when you need something fresh and unobtrusive that you don't necessarily want to last too long. Oddly, the notes of tarragon, lime and musk listed on the bottle are not listed here. Who knows. The thing it most reminds me of this the childhood aroma of cream soda and there is something herbal and citrus about it that has an almost fizziness to it. Though they don't smell alike, this kinda herbal cream soda bright mood that isn't too sweet, something that it shares with Mugler Cologne. But, since I've run out of that, this year, it seems to have become a go-to spritz for low-key activities, like when you have to dash to the supermarket after gardening in the heat and don't have time to shower, that kinda thing

My wife picked up Pecksniff's charismatic & classic at TJ Maxx for a couple bucks. I've wore both fragrances like twice,but l tend to like classic more. There is something about charismatic that just doesn't sit right. I am going to continue wearing these fragrances when spring/summer rolls back around and l will update this review. Update: Threw this in the trash..It just didn't do it for me..performance and scent was just blah..

I wouldn't call this an oriental spicy fragrance. It's citrusy-fresh with a strong French tarragon note (similar to black licorice).The notes are wrong here--or at least incomplete. From Basenotes: 'bergamot, tarragon, geranium, lime, lily, freesia, musk'. That seems closer. From Pecksniff's website: 'An oriental fragrance where tarragon and lime trail through the sumptuous base of alluring musk, vanilla and tonka'. Maybe there is some vanilla and tonka in the base, but I'm not picking up on it. The bottle lists tarragon, lime and musk. That's pretty much what I get. It's a fresh, day-time fragrance.

Bought this one when I was new fragrance. I liked the packaging, it was cheap, and the notes seemed interesting. I passed this one off to a friend pretty quickly. Very herbaceous as I recall, with an cloyingly sweet note that never sat right with me, and I like sweet fragrances.

Like the other reviewers, I'm sure the notes listed here on Fragrantica are incorrect. I'm not getting ANY of the notes listed on this site (except maybe Geranium?). The bottle indicates the notes tarragon, lime and musk. This one is interesting.... that Tarragon is STRONG! I don't think I've ever had a fragrance with that note, although I have cooked with it on several occasions. It's unusual, if you want an herbal fragrance this one is not like any I've ever tried. Tarragon and lime are the main players for me, and I do detect a floral but I can't place it. At first I thought it was lavender but I don't think that is correct. It is so faint it's hard to place. I don't get any musk, although it is listed on the bottle. If you are familiar with the spice blend "Herbs de Provence" this is a little reminiscent of that. Excellent projection and longevity, I used two sprays to my chest before putting on my shirt and can still detect it quite well 6 hours later. If you are in the US you can get this at TJ Maxx very cheap... I paid $5 for a 50 mL bottle! They have had it at the TJ Maxx stores near me (Tampa Bay FL) for the last several months (late 2020 / early-mid 2021). Recommended if you like Tarragon or herbal fragrances in general. I don't wear it often, but like it when I'm in the mood for something different. UPDATE: After wearing this a few more times, I'm pretty certain that floral note is geranium. It had been a long time since I smelled geranium, so I wasn't sure, but I recently saw one in bloom and got a good whiff... that's the floral note here. Be careful of overspraying! I put 4 sprays to my body and it was TOO much! The tarragon was overpowering!

This EDT is a hidden gem and is my go-to scent for day to day wear. Chip as chips to buy as they regularly dump a load to people that sell on ebay. Made in a small factory in the UK so it is pretty exclusive stuff too. I have tried quite a few fragrances from this company but this is the one that stands head and shoulders above everything they do. It will not set the world alight and is a safe scent but I have not come across anyone who has not liked it.

Maybe I got a bad batch, but this scent holds for like 30 seconds then it's gone. I have to put my nose to where I sprayed to really smell anything. The scent itself is nice, but the performance is incredibly weak. My other Pecksniff's don't have the same issue.

Unfortunately, it doesn't take long before it smells like WD40 to me.
