Bu parfüme ilk yorumu yapan kişinin bu konudan anlamadigi ortada. Dezenfektan yada hastane koridoru kokusuna benzetmiş ve tabiki "halt etmis". Çok başarılı bir "fresh" parfüm bu. Bu tarzda parfümleri tasarlamanın çok zor olduğunu düşünüyorum. Bir amatör bile "agir" diyebileceğimiz bir kokuyu harmanlayabilir. Bu parfüm, en beğendiğiniz kolonyanın "premium" hali diyebilirim. Ilk 5 dakikada çok fresh sonra ise biraz odunsu bir hava arkadan yükseliyor ve sizi kolonya ferahlığı ile karşıladıktan sonraki aşamaya geçiyor. Sade ve ağırbaşlı. Her yaşa uygun ama daha çok erkeklere yakın. Bence çok başarılı bir parfüm olmuş. Notalara bakıldığında belkide bu markanın koleksiyonu içinde en zayıfı olduğu düşünülebilir. Ancak öyle değil. Zaten koleksiyonda zayıf bir çalışma yok. Sadece etrafınızı memnun edemeyecek olan parfümler var. Ancak iyi bir parfüm meraklısı önce kendini düşünür. Tebrikler Pekji...

Opens with the notes of salty candied citrus - lime, the emphasis is on the rind and not the flesh as much The salt is accenuating it very delicious way, leaning the fragrance as a whole a bit to the masculine side The lime is accompanied by anise which is giving it depth and spicy qualities and just very little hints of cinnamon As it dries down, the fragranceis less citrusy, focusing more on the woody base and vetiver, still keeping some of the aromatic qualities

Full bodied aromatic anise-jasmin-amber fragrance. A creamy anise is dominant with a little bit of jasmine and mastique. Beautifully blended... Definitely more male than unisex. Overall a very good perfumery!

Smells like a minty industrial disinfectant. Not unpleasant, but more like a hospital floor than a seaside to me.

Eau Mer (a clever wordplay on the perfumer’s own name, Ömer, combining eau = water and mer = sea) is a fresh yet quietly mysterious composition. The first thing that reaches my nose is a mix of herbal notes and a hint of animalic gray ambergris. This slightly salty ambergris feels like the main vein of the fragrance, but it’s so well-blended that it never fully leans into the marine category. Everything else sits in perfect harmony. Compared to my other anise-heavy perfumes, the anise here is very soft, and the lavender never stands out too much which I appreciate. Whenever lavender becomes dominant, it tends to push a scent into a “typical fougère” direction for me, but that’s not the case here. I love mastic, but despite trying hard I could barely detect it here. In this style, mastic usually lends a slightly dark, herbal undertone; yet it’s only faint at best in this composition. It’s definitely the softest and most gentle scent in the discovery set. My only minor issue is the overly citrusy opening, which feels a bit too sharp at first but it disappears quickly and probably contributes to the pleasant smoothness of the drydown. Sampling Pekji Eaumer, a fittingly nautical-adjacent blend, with elements that remind me of the sea and marine communities, albeit without any heavily marine notes. It’s a green, vegetal, fresh, floral blend with darker, spicier elements like vetiver and anise, but with a lovely blend of lavender, lime, jasine, musk, and just a hint of ambergris filling out the middle. It’s pleasant while still being a bit provocative, an unusual but fitting blend of notes that bring me from the earth to the sea in one whiff. As I’d expect, it’s a little sharper and fresher in the opening, with more focus on the citrus notes, especially, but then is a bit darker and moodier in the dry down, with a whole lot more of the vetiver. It’s not quite as dense or strong as Battaniye but still performs pretty well. It terms of concept, it reminds me a bit of Masque Milano Terralba in that it doesn’t smell like the sea, but it smells like being on land near the sea. Like the rest of the line, Eaumer is priced at $165 for 50ml, in EDP concentration, sold at Luckyscent and a few other boutiques. I’m pleased with its performance and find it to be an interesting wear, one I’ll have to try some more. 7 out of 10

This errs on the side of being too astringent. It's green citrus and lavender, so more refreshing.

@numcks That resonates with me. Been testing this one for a while, I smell lemon juice, then as time pass by the anise takes place and turns this into licorice menthol scent. I can detect this accord in some of their other fragrances. In my humble opinion it is trying to be what 'Remarkable People'' by ELDO is, but at 4x the price.

If there's something I learned from Pekji's fragrances is that there aren't good notes and bad ones but only either a good use of them or a bad one. Eaumer opens with something I perceive as citrusy-green. I guess a mixture of green notes, petit-grain / neroli and other fizzy things. It immediately makes you think of an Eau De Cologne but, at the same time, it doesn't feel *retrò* or *old-fashioned*. Intstead, because of its gasoline-like undertones, it's reassuringly modern and even edgy if you want. There's also a jasmine component thrown in the mix that together with a chlorine-like kind of ozonic accord, enhances the overall airy character of this fragrance. It sounds challenging but, honestly, it's anything but. Compared to either Holy Shit or Cuir 6, this is definitely on the *easier* side of the spectrum. More versatile, easier to like and more *tradionally* perfumey especially during the amber / vetiver-driven drydown. It's basically a fresh fragrance with a twist but whereas most other similarly themed fragrances fall either on aquatic or flat white musky synth kind of stuff, Eaumer is vibrating, alive and extremely satisfying thourhout. Very Good! Rating: 7-5-8/10

Starts off nice and fresh, zesty and citrussy, little lavender. That anise note takes over after and goes full licorice, with a similar dna as Zeybek of the similar line. Powdery, chalky-feeling aquatic lemon. Remember Lik-M-Aid? Like that, sweet citric acid - dipped in the sea, with a waft of herbs.
