A little preface: I own Bare Sueded Vanilla and love it to bits. It is one of the 4 perfumes (out of almost 400 in my collection) I bought back up bottles of because I never want to run out of it. I also own Sawaar Vanilla (more powdery, woodier, fruitier, less sweet, no saffron), Vanilla Skin (oversimplified body spray with the same vibes), and I absolutely wanted to try Dusky Vanilla. The bottle resembles a giant onion with a crescent moon, I am not a fan, but the juice! The first 5 seconds I was a bit let down, there was an alcohol burst, but I had just received the bottle, travel shock is a thing, so I did not worry. I sprayed Bare Sueded Vanilla on the other arm and went about my day. Well, Dusky Vanilla is stronger, longer lasting, a bit sweeter and projects more than BSV. Otherwise they are basically identical. This one is a keeper: love, love love it! 10/10

To my nose it is a sweeter, better version of bare sueded vanilla. I was hesitant about the lemon note, but it is only present in the opening. It adds a nice brightness to the perfume before it dries down sweet and creamy. It's definitely not a gourmand, just a simple, sweet, skin scent type of vanilla. I think it can be worn year round. My bottle is still new so the scent is light. Hopefully when I let it sit it will get stronger and more long lasting. Highly recommend it if you like vanilla that is not overly gourmand and heavy.

Great, well blended vanilla. Super cozy, nothing is screechy, smells really good. Creamy. Unfortunately the lasting power is very weak as for now, the sillage is also weak, it's more of a skin scent. If it was better, it would be maybe my new best vanilla fragrance. Recommend!!

sweet airy vanilla with chocolate. I don't get much of the jasmine. I want to get a full bottle but I'm worried about longevity, so I will be testing my decant for a while. update: got a full bottle and it has been a favorite of mine. I spray mostly on my clothes to make it last longer. I really love the sweet subtle chocolate in this.
