I love this fragrance straight out of the box, it's incredible. This was a blind buy for me and I only bought it because the notes sounded interesting. Well, it definitely paid off because this is gorgeous! It starts off smelling pretty musky, powdery and almost savoury, kind of like a creamy mochi. The dry down is a lot more floral, but still powdery and muksy. Overall, it's a very unique and feminine scent that would be perfect for both night and day.

It's more potent than the OG, gives you much more. I have no idea how poppy smells, but I adore this fragrance! I feel it sweet, but in a new kind of way, then something gourmandish, similar to the popcorn note in perfumes. It's floral. Then I also feel oat milk. I will always have it in my collection. It's different than all the other perfumes.

I have never smelled OG Joe Malone Poppy Intense and it was a blind buy for me, and something bothers me in this scent: maybe it’s poppy, maybe it’s dull heaviness of it so not a success on my skin. However, for me it does smell like a reception of brand new 5 star hotel, so I use it as a home scent/air freshner and honestly my house smells luxurious and fancy.

This was a no for me. It was a blind-buy and I can say with confidence that I just personally don’t like the smell of poppy. Otherwise it lasted a long time on skin and seemed to perform nicely. I returned mine
