Nirmohee

One of the phrases I have become wary of in the modern perfumery lexicon is, “this fragrance takes you on an olfactory journey.” This is usually code for a fifty-ingredient car crash of discordant accords. Excessive layering and complexity for its own sake usually leads to a muddled mess. It seems that the modern perfumer wishes to grab you by the lapels and shake you into submission with the first sniff. All sizzle and no steak. This fragrance is the antithesis to that approach to modern perfumery. The ingredient list, at first glance, seems modest. Mint, Moss (Evernyl), Magnolia and Musk. The mint here is not the often-harsh blast of toothpaste mint. This is more a spearmint. It doesn’t overpower and feels airy and evanescent. It settles in waves but also remains persistent. The use of Evernyl here is instructive because Oakmoss can have an arresting iodine minerality but would be too bossy in such a construction as this. The Evernyl does have a minerality here but it is more reminiscent of a wet ochre, providing a savoury, moist clay aroma. The magnolia is the bridge to the musk, which, unusually is restrained, refined and never overbearing. The musk is the last to recede, but it is refreshing that a subtle hand is involved here that puts the primacy on musk as a structural component and is a more discrete olfactory presence. It succeeds because it is subtle but persistent.

I was sent a tester about a month ago but I've been holding off reviewing Nirmohee because I wanted to see it's scent profile and longevity in different weather. Currently its cold and dry, but I recently wore it on a tropical holiday as well. In the cold this perfume smells like a treck through a mossy forest after just brushing your teeth when your the inhale feels fresh. As it dries down over the next hour the magnolia and musk turn it into a soft warm hug that lingers for days. Serious longevity. In the heat, the longevity was not as great, probably because I sweat it off but the scent didnt change. The mint, moss and magnolia kept it from smelling too warm with the musk and humidity. Projection isnt loud, and I'd say although unusual, this is a crowd pleaser. Office friendly, headache/sensitive friend friendly. This smell reminds me of making it to the top of a mountain trek, so I associate it with success. It would work very well for an intimate night out, but it's not immediatley what I'd consider sexy. Still, I love it.

found this when I was watching Petsolais YouTube channel. he said that it's a very good spring perfume from Australia, while I never heard of it. bought a travel size out of curiosity and it's a wow to me I would say, it's best purchase of this year ( another one is Le Lion of Chanel) it's a unique floral scent. sorry for unable to describe it in a precise manner, but what I can say us that it's fresh, elegant, airy, while the airy woody dry down is the best part of this perfume it should have more attention from the world, especially. Australia. Summer is coming and this is highly recommended for the coming hot summer. I give 10 out of 10 for this. definitely will purchase the original size when I finish this travel one.

PEOSYM Nirmohee is a wonderfull scent with a nice mint opening which lasts throughout the scent profile . It is a very green fresh scent like being in a Forrest smelling the fresh green air . Lasting 7+hrs . I'd be happy to wear this everyday .

The first aquatic adjacent scent I liked. Elegant and fresh, the evolution of this perfume was a pleasant journey. It reminds me of being by a stream in the forest as a teen. The moss sticks around the most and provides comfort but never pulls off swampy.

I was offered a sample to review, and wore this on skin. It opens with a bright, slightly sharp, accord which is probably the combination of mint and moss. This slightly sharp brightness mellows as it heads into the mid. The scent becomes more creamy but not quite vanilla... it acquires a tinge of greenness. There is a bit of sweetness to the scent but only a bit. As it evolves into the mid, the aromatics become increasingly stronger... sitting on a bed of creaminess. The sharpness returns, which may be coming from the white floral note (magnolia) in combination with the moss... It has an invigorating character. As it progresses into the dry down, this becomes a slightly creamy white floral, which is quite beautiful.

Just a tad too green for my liking. Not bad, just okay. Not full bottle worthy in my opinion.
