Rishikesh

If there is one fragnance in my collection that reminds me of the feeling of being inside a temple, it is Rishikesh. I have the Version 2 (or V2), which is allegedly saffron heavy, I wish I had a chance to sniff V1 & V3 as well to compare, V1 specially as it has beautiful natural ambergris as I have learnt from other reviews. I smell beautiful and captivating blend of saffron and sandalwood, mixed with beautiful lavender & tuberose, and the amber playing like a cornerstone in the background to elevate the holiness of this fragnance. The Neroli in my nose felt more prominently at the drydown, where the sandlewood with the right amount of amber sweetness is the main players. I say this is wearable in all seasons, though more suitable in autumn & spring, or any religious festival per se. Longevity is 4 - 5 hours, good projection for the first hour or two, then becomes mostly a skin scent, but as I wear this totally for myself so that was never an issue. This should be inoffensive to most, but if saffron and sandalwood is not your cup of tea, you should reconsider your buying decision. Mostly a people pleaser, as per my recommendation, for this price, this is totally blind by worthy (also good luck with a decant, because people who keeps this never decants any of this beautiful juice because this is harder to find, specially older variants, and who don't like it sells the whole bottle itself). Speaking of quality and exclusivity, nothing about the fragnance feels synthetic or cheap. It is amazing for what price this is being offered. An original creation by Project Perfumery's talented perfumer Mohit Khatri, this is not only a gem of Indian perfumery, but I dare to say in the whole world of perfumery (though my knowledge is still very limited about niche perfumery & almost none about exclusive releases at ultra expensive prices, yet I had my share of experience in years of being in the hobby). Smell - 9/10 Uniqueness - 7/10 Longivity - 5/10 Sillage - 4/10 This fragnance is so soothing that it calms me down when I'm stressed and instantly reminds me of the holiness of an Indian religious festival or a pilgrimage. This is pure joy and bliss in a bottle and an absolute keeper in my collection no matter how many super expensive & exclusive niches I get in future. I also wish to collect all the variants of this.

Rishikesh, a small town near Haridwar, one of the holiest city of India. A place where every devotee once in a life has to visit. Whatttt a beautiful creation by perfumologist . 😍 My favourite from all of his creations so far.❤️ Though it named as RISHIKESH but it reminds me of another holy city of india - VRINDAVAN. ⛩️ Same floral sandalwood vibes you get in this Perfume which u get when u enter any Indian temple. 💐 Its a must buy fragrance . If u dont want to buy a bottle . Just grab a sample of it 👍 you wont regret. Sillage : Its a siage bomb. This creates a scent bubble which can be identified from a distance of 4-5 feet. Performance : I would say that you get a really nice performance from this of around 7hrs. Fragrance : 10/10 Sillage : 9/10 Performance : 8/10

This is the best niche juice you can get in natural perfumery. It smells like the ghats of the temple as well as the inside garbha of the temple where incense is burned. This is one of the best creations from the house of Perfumologist. This takes me immediately to the Indian Hindu temple. Its Unisex and a must have to calm your senses. Longitivity is not an issue with this. Sillage is moderate but not bad. Surely, your best ones would love to sniff this on you

it is a tuberose intense white floral boutique which gives you a very uplifting mood especially during early mornings after bath. It has some soothing properties and reminds you of a calm , pure , bright place. At least on a decant , this is a must have scent in every perfume lover closet.

The most favourite from MK creation is Rishikesh. Its very authentic and natural smelling. Instantly creates a divine ambience. What an experience.! Never been to Rishikesh. This scent take me instantly to Madurai meenakshi ammaan temple

This is one of calming fragrances. Gives vibe of Indian Temple. Amber, spices, woody, burning Incense and Saffron makes it really special. One of unique fragrance in my collection. Longevity- 10/10 Projection- 9/10 Quality- 10/10 ❤️

My favorite in the line of perfumologist. Literally smells like you are in some 500yrs old temple. Its so soothing, relaxing and calms you with its beast mode silage

They say body is temple, spray this and you will feel like your are sitting right inside a temple..very blissful.

Full of floral with saffron vibes. Found a good match for occasional functions. The current version is much better than previous versions. Earlier it used to give impression as blends of attar but now it is well rounded. The saffron presence is very noticable. Projection is at arms length but creates a good floral aura around. Longevity is roughly 4 hours with 5-7 sprayes in a given time. A unique scent in a way that we haven't seen anything similar to this which is more Indic in flavour.

This fragrance will remind you how temples and religious places in India smell like. The magic happens due to the sandalwood & Rose in it. You have to try this to experience this. Best bang for the buck if you need a very unique fragrance in your collection.

Absolute Trash: Perfumologist AKA mohit khatri's Stench of a Scam Oh, where do I even start with this steaming pile of sh*t masquerading as a perfume seller? The self-proclaimed "Perfumologist" - because apparently, "ologist" means "expert in ripping off desperate suckers." This clown runs a so-called business that's less about fragrances and more about leaving a foul odor of betrayal in your wallet. You order what is promised as a premium scent, and what arrives? A bottle of what smells like an expired cat piss mixed with desperation. But wait, it gets better (or worse, depending on how much you enjoy being financially violated). Half the time, your order doesn't even ship! It's like he plays a sadistic game of "Perfume Roulette" - will you get the wrong item, like a dusty old sock instead of a Chanel? Or nothing at all, just radio silence and a lighter bank account? And refunds? Ha! This guy's refund policy is about as real as his "genuine" products. Cancel an order? He'll ghost you faster than a bad date after you pay the bill. Return something? Good luck – he'll stop responding on every platform, leaving you high and dry, smelling like regret. mohit preys on vulnerability like a vulture on roadkill. He lures you in with lucrative ads, then loots your cash and vanishes into the ether. This isn't entrepreneurship; it's low-rent thievery wrapped in a bow of bullshit. If scamming were an Olympic sport, this guy would win gold – but only because he'd cheat his way there by swapping the medals with tin foil fakes. Do yourself a favor: Avoid Perfumologist / Project Perfumery / perfumery[dot]co[dot]in / like the plague it is. mohit isn't a businessman; he's a bottom-feeding parasite who couldn't sell an honest scent if his life depended on it. His "empire" reeks of failure, and the only thing authentic about him is the scam. Burn your money instead; at least that'll smell better than dealing with this fraudster.

Holy smelling, white floral heavy, beautiful fragrance that has two sides to its story. Smells fresh with bergamot, lavender and other white florals. But it also has the smell of closed temple space with less ventilation, dampness, a lot of flowers and other holy ingredients. It is one of the most unique smelling perfumes in my collection. As much as white florals give me headache, this is very smooth and creamy, maybe because of the saffron, amber and sandalwood base. Juice is really high quality, and it only gets better with the time. Better performs on skin than on clothes. A must own from this house. Rishikesh will be remembered for years and years. The fragrance will easily remind you of the Holy places and Pilgrimage. The fragrance resembles the real flavor of India. It gives a blast of notes together starting from JASMINE / SANDALWOOD/ ROSE/ CHAMPA/ KESAR/ WOODAPPLE and the projection is more loud than AMOUAGE INTERLUDE but price wise is less than 1/4. We are proud of Mohit Khatri and may Projekt Perfumery India live long !!!

As the name is Rishikesh, it has been inspired from Rishikesh, a divine city in Uttarakhand state of India. Also known as Yoga capital of the world. The city has a distinct smell. At the very first spray, champaca hits you, very smooth and natural smelling. It smells divine and very subtle. Sweet Sandalwood base is alluring, Smells like temples. Good projection and longevity. It's not a versatile one though.

A very holistic fragrance captured and straight into the bottle from spiritual divineness of temples in india specially from north India, It reminds me very of calmness, peace around famous cities surrounding whr very old temples are situated like rishikesh, haridwar, banaras. If you want to feel north indian temples, ghats around ganga, Rishikesh is right choice than. Overall performance - 7/10

This is a divine perfume. Hrishikesh brings to life the smell of temples and religious ceremonies. I have used this perfume whenever I am feeling down and this instantly uplifts my mood. The perfume has a beautiful opening of florals and sandalwood and it gets richer over time.This is a must have I'm ones collection. Fragrance 10/10 Performance 7/10

Beautiful creation...smells like incense, magnolia flowers laid on a bed dark black flint stone with earthy touches and creamy sandalwood and saffron. A lot of the notes comprise of elements one would associate with the temples of Rishikesh and it does a really good job of transporting you there

This is nothing like you have smelt before. Perfect Holy smell of Indian Ghats. It`s a brilliant creation. Must try for the smell and creativity. Longevity: 6/10 (Moderate 5-6 hours) Silage: 8/10 (Heavy for half of its life) Value for money: 10/10 Smell: 10/10. Go grab it.

Rishikesh takes to an Olfactive Journey to the Temples of India. There's a beautiful note ambergris and sandalwood in the opening with a hint of smokey kewda and jasmine note. This fragrance creates a bubble of tranquility around me. Performance is humongous on this one

Perfumes from Perfumologist are pretty much average. More importantly services that you get from Perfumologist is really very poor. Delays in shipment, wrong products send, no response on made communication are few common experience that you can expect with them.

This is a brilliant scent and as name says, it definitely reminds you of an ancient temples of India. Saffron sandalwood and florals..what a beautiful blend this is. Surely one of the best from Project alternative. Must try. Projection and longevity is too good.

This is a divine juice. Floral, sandalwood, incense will take you to a different dimension and you feel calm and relaxed. Whenever my mood is off, I wear this, it lifts me up instantly. This is the best by MK (the perfumer), to my nose.

Avoid this business, if you don't want a terrible experience. I'm a customer that lost a lot of money to Mohit who promised me in WhatsApp chats that he would handle my order completely and take care of me. All lies. Beware.

Traditional temple smell with flowers, saffron, sandalwood and resinous Amber. Might be a bit bitter to begin with but you end up acquiring that taste.

Where can I get this? I spent some time in Rishikesh and they were some memoreable moments. Yes, of course, I was there for a lengthy yoga sabbatical.

This is very nice!!! To me it reads like a fougere but built on saffron (lots of saffron!) rather than moss & tonka.
