ncense blast with film of beautiful citrus that will send you into a transcendental realm. The Franckincense here is just incredible. Slightly dry but that aromatic volume is something that encapsulates one completely in a gentle manner. The mid boasts a smooth and tame woody spicy accord. The clove cinnamon blend has been rounded by removing its peculiar nose piercing character. This is the perfect bridge between the top and a dense base. The base has lovely woody vanilla which is further thickened by oud. Benzoin adds a punch to the resinous character. Sweet nuances from sandalwood give that cherry on the icing feeling. A gorgeous resinous fragrance with a beautiful play of notes and good performance.

Heavy balsamic frankincense open provides an almost spiritual experience, harkening to a time in some religious ceremony of one's youth. As it fades the clove and cinnamon come forward; was this perhaps a ceremony around the Winter holidays? There's a warmth and friendliness to it. The base is the oak pews of an old church, kneeling to pray as a child, mostly trying to not fall asleep in the midnight mass, excited for being back home with family and presents. The musk and mixture of vanilla and caramel recalls to the perfumes worn by the women seated nearby in the cramped church. There is both a spiritual calmness, but also an air of excitement for what's to come.

Beautiful and addictive. Similar in some ways to many popular sandalwood fragrances but unique and complex, perhaps because of the olibanum? Longevity isn't the best but that just means I can reapply all day. Love it.

A closed dusty room being opened 2 days after people have meditated in it. The initial blast of frankincense paired with the dusty, stale, calm, meditative dry down. Great scent! I like the attar format better but great nevertheless.
