Cedro di Diamante

When I got my sample I knew I must have a full bottle. Normally I am not a big fun of citrus fragrances even I do live in hot Mexican climate but this one is super well done. It’s very fresh and has just a right amount of spices to make the fragrance a bit warm and more masculine leaning. It’s all about freshly squeezed sour / slightly sweet lemons, bit of bitterness coming from lemon zest & ginger soften by small touch of iris with musk. Second most prominent note of this fragrance after citruses is spices (particularly it’s Sichuan pepper with pink pepper (similar to the one used in Amouage Journey Man , just not so overpowering. Surprisingly it is in category of longer lasting fragrances which with citrus fragrances is unique. Another great piece from Perris House!

I generally dislike citrus scents, so I tend to skip these citrus openings perfume like these. But gosh, this is gorgeous. It feels exactly like when you squeeze the lemon peel in the sunlight, the tiny lemon essential oil rays sparkle in the sunlight. The citrus scent is very fresh, like sparkling lemon juice, which feels very natural. I tested this perfume during the winter so the performance is pretty bad (?), and also, I just tried it from a decant so the spray must not be as good as the full bottle. I layered this with Royal Oud from French Avenue and got a really bright and vibrant citrus opening & musky skin-scent dry-down.

Citrus, light spices and wood notes, I love the scent. I enjoy many fragrances from Perris Monte Carlo and this beautiful lemon is no exception. From the Italian line, I still love Arancia di Sicilia just a wee bit more, but both lack the oomph to take them past the 2 hour mark. For a natural scent swoon worthy scent, that is rarely a complaint from me, but I’d be remiss not to mention it. Still, would love to wear Cedro di Diamante more often. Preferably in a warm, sunny, Mediterranean location.

I’ve been hearing that this scent on others lasts 20 seconds. Well on me it lasts between 11-12 hours! Imagine you’re sitting in a cafè at a southern European country in a heatwave. The waiter arrives with your drink: an ICECOLD glass of sparkling fresh lemon water. It’s fizzy, bright and smells EXACTLY like sparkling water. It is SO gorgeous! The citron and lemon together with the peppers makes this fizzing/popping and fresh scent trail and the dry down gets complimented by cardamom. Amazing!

Cedro di Diamante feels like a beautifully done limoncello interpretation. Bright, zesty, and effortlessly refreshing, with that unmistakable Italian elegance. It leans classic in spirit, but the generous use of ambroxan and Iso E Super gives it a more modern, airy lift. The result is clean, luminous, and very easy to wear in warm weather. Performance isn't its strong suit, I get around 3 to 4 hours, but it's so pleasant that I don't mind reapplying at all. A great pick for summer.

Bright sunny limoncello lemons with lime zest. Inevitably not long lasting — a couple of hours on my skin — but really one of the most delightful citruses I know. A lovely musk and oakmoss drydown at the end dodges the white floral that so many lapse into. Highly recommended

10/10 scent 1/10 performance EDIT: (In fairness I will add that this is the best citrus scent I have ever experienced. But it unfortunately does not last very long. This still has not deterred me from just ordering my 2nd bottle..)

A lovely burst of lemon with an underbelly of spice all tied together in a soft musky bow. Super! Minimal longevity and holds close to the skin...your own personal dip in a lemoncello grove.

I shouldn’t reveal my secret love but this is it!!! I ve got it for me and my boyfriend wears it more than me we are both crazy with it and people compliment all the time

A good, stiff fresh sweet lemonade. Not weighted down with woods. Unfortunately even less longevity than most citrus fragrances. Highly enjoyable for summer.

Fizzy citrus, like concentrated sprite without the sugar, peppery and mossy on drydown, uplifting and imo the best frag in the collection

Understated lemon with musk, beautiful and alluring, however fleeting and needs to be reapplied regularly

Very fresh and transparent citrus scent There are few perfumes that can create an atmosphere with this power of the real scent of lemons, lemon peels and citrus fruits, inviting you to a real, mojito and lemonade. All the top notes and the beginning of the perfume spend about half to an hour in this space until you enter the middle note of the perfume and with the second hit of the perfume, it shocks you, that there is no second notes and of course you don't have a dry down, the perfume starts and ends in The topnotes. It's like you are dreaming of paradise and suddenly you fall from a height and jump out of sleep In perfumes, citrus scents are usually placed on the main column of the perfume, which are the middle and final notes scents, but here the perfume getting established on citrus scents, and the rest of the notes are in the background, so don't be cheated by musk, oakmoss, ginger, and spicy scents. They exist, but not obviously. If you want to look at it as a perfume, you will probably be disappointed, but if you are just looking for a good quality scent that will hit your heart and change your mood when you are bored or tired in summer heat, it is a good choice. رایحه ای مرکباتی بسیار فرش تازه و شفاف بجرات کمتری عطری هست بتونه با این قدرت رایحه واقعی از لیمو و پوست لیمو و مرکبات رو فضای سازی کنه، شما رو به یه لیموناد، موهیتو و فالوده ابلیمویی واقعی دعوت میکنه. تمام تاپ نوت و شروع عطر در حدور نیم تا یک ساعت در این فضا سپری میشه تا اینکه وارد نوت میانی عطر میشید و با دومین ضربه عطر به شما شوکه تون میکنه، این که نوت دومی وجود نداره و بلطبع درای داونی هم ندارید، عطر در همون تاپ نت شروع میشه و تمام. مثل اینکه درحال خواب دیدن بهشت باشید و یکدفعه از یه بلندی سقوط کنید و از خواب بپرید در عطرها معمولا روایح مرکباتی روی ستونی اصلی عطر که روایح نت میانی و پایانی هستن قرار میگیرند ولی اینجا ستون عطر روایح مرکباتی است که بقیه نت ها در پس زمینه اون قرار دارند پس گول مشک، خزه بلوط زنجبیل و روایح اسپایسی رو نخورید. وجود دارند ولی نه در حد سلول های بویایی انسان. اگه بعنوان یه عطر بخواین بهش نگاه کنید احتمالا ناامید میشید ولی اگه صرفا دنبال یه رایحه حال خوب کن و باکیفیت باشید که برای دل خودتون بزنید و روحیه تون رو در بعضی ساعات بیحوصله یا خسته از کار و گرمای تابستان عوض کنه انتخاب خوبیه کاملا یونی سکس و پخش و ماندگاری در حد یک ساعت البته اگه از موندگاری ضعیف چسبیده به پوست صرفه نظر کنید *همیشه معطر و شادباشید*

Perris Monte Carlo Cedro di Diamante is part of the Italy collection and is inspired by the diamante citron fruit. The fragrance is a lovely woody fresh lemon mix, featuring a bit of a lime/verbena sharpness, some spices in ginger/cardamom/pepper, and a pleasant dry down of iris, oakmoss, and musk. The verbena isn’t screechy, nor is the spice blend particularly spicy, so the mix retains a lemon dominance and smells curiously sweet, perhaps via the particular mix, as there are not any overly sweet notes per the note breakdown. Cedro di Diamante lacks the bite of the powerhouse lemon scent of Profumum Roma Acqua Viva, but has some sweetness, so it might be a better option for those who do not want something overpowering or sharply woody but rather a sweet/tart mix with just a touch of creaminess. It’s interesting but easily enjoyable, the lemon staying centered but no other aspect taking over complete. It feels balanced, well conceived. Overall, though, it’s not quite as interesting as Arancia di Sicilia (which I previously tried / also from the Italy collection) but it’s still a very nice lemon scent and could really be an enjoyable frequent wear, particularly in warmer months, so this is a nice option that I’ll have to give some more thought, though upon first wear, it’s slightly more a “like” than a “love”—still, I’d recommend sampling it. Priced at $190 for 100ml like the rest of the Italy collection, Cedro di Diamante is available at Indigo Perfumery (from whom I’d recommend buying it) as well as department stores like Neiman Marcus and Bloomingdale’s. 7 out of 10

The perfume counterpart of a 25-euro sparkling lemon water served on the terrace of a very very upscale bar with an amazing view over one of the pricier stretches of the Italian Riviera: expensive, beautiful, exhilarating, shortlived. Was it really worth it in the end? It's sparklingly effervescent, full of lovely lemon and neroli zest, smells absolutely beautifully and naturally clean, fresh and restorative. The little hints of spice are perceptible but not overbearing. Will make you feel classy, crisp and reinvigorated. True unisex and without a hint of the unlovely shades of house-cleaners or cheap white musk which often get thrown into summer citrus scents. Sadly it's also very expensive and just doesn't last on me much past 2h in total on either skin or fabric, with the initial, gorgeously detailed effect only really lasting for under half an hour. So it's extremely pleasant but hideously overpriced at full RRP in my view. A fleeting luxury indulgence, then, but not a workable proposition unless money's no object and you don't mind carting it around in your (probably very expensive designer exclusive) handbag all day.

Very nicely blended Citrus Aromatic with a very tart n' tangy Citrus opening, combining well with the mossy accord and perky spicy mid of ginger, sichuan and pink pepper and cardamom. All of these spices are rather subdued, but manifest within the skin scent as a slightly firey woodiness when sniffed directly. Maybe perky rather than firey. Really beautiful opening. I seem to do well with Citrus Aromatics with prominent Mossy accords, like Moss Cologne by Bornikoff and even To a Wild Rose by Avon, so no surprise I like Cedro di Diamante. The performance is bad, but a natural Citrus Aromatic is expected to do that. Just consider it a skin scent. I'd rather have the naturals than artificial performance boosts of screechy synthetics. The drydown turns a bit musky and woody due to a bit to the Sichuan Pepper and cardamom, but true to its name, Cedro di Diamante must have a cedarwood note. And there should be a "Woody" accord listed, and prominently positioned in the stack. This doesn't look expensive, so just spray a lot and reapply.

Cedro di Diamante by Perris Monte Carlo is truly a wonderful scent that could only be found in the mind of an Italian creative genius. With it's top notes of mandarin, lemon, and bergamot, it has a light and uplifting character. The heart is comprised of moodier notes of cedar and vetiver that somehow find harmony with the light topline. In the end, this fragrance is perfect for any occasion, but especially for someone who has a strong love for the culture and countryside of Italy and wants to express it through scent. As someone close to me recently passed away and loves everything about Italy, I can testify that Cedro di Diamante is the one fragrance that does justice to all the wonderful memories he had of the country. Its deep and powerful character is something that will never be forgotten.

This has a gorgeous, fresh lemon and lime opening which is just to die for! I so wish that stayed. It then dries down after a few minutes to a delicious zesty, almost sugary lime. This stage is also divine. Had this or the opening remained throughout, I’d have bought a full bottle in a heart beat! However within 15-30 minutes, this is a skin scent. After an hour I can barely smell it at all. UPDATE - I ended up buying a full bottle. While this performs poorly on skin (it is winter so may be why) I found the opening of this scent lasts a lot longer on fabrics! I can smell the lemon and lime still on my clothes for hours. I’ll look forward to trying this on my skin in summer, when it’s likely to perform at its best.

It somewhat reminds me of a high quality version of "Artisan Pure" by John Varvatos. That's Not a bad thing. It has a lot more going on then Artisan Pure, of course. But the same citrus scent (except the quality and whole niche thing). It's very fresh, very pleasant, doesn't smell like household cleaner and is absolutely perfect for hot summer days. Perfectly unisex, in my opinion. Hot days only, so mostly summer. But some late spring early fall could work in some places. Casual wear. Personal score: 8/10. If you're searching for a nice, high quality citrus fragrance, here you go. Try this and you might be done searching.

I tested at least 30-40 summer fragrances (both designer & niche) till I decided to stick to this one. It stands out as really naturally fresh and highly suitable when it is hot. That freshness is short lasting, but it is very uplifting. In that respect this fragrance really stands out from many freshies. After ~1 hour, the light pleasant scent stays close to the skin and I like it. I don't like intense long-lasting summer fragrances since they are overly cloying citrus scents that annoy me. I like the scents that are close to me and I can barely detect the aroma.

Cedro di Diamante opens with a burst of juicy lemon and bright fizzy lime. This one's a bit like Eau d’Hadrien but with a nice spicier twist. Ginger, cardamom, and pink pepper bring a gentle warmth that keeps it from feeling too clean. It recalls some of Atelier Cologne’s citrus scents, but here it’s smoother with some kinf od elegant vibe in it. The drydown turns musky and slightly woody, soft on skin yet still sparkling. Sunny, mood-lifting and almost effortless for easy-going days.

Smells damn good for about 1 to 1 1/2 hours, but that's what you get with very realistic smelling citrus fragrances. There are so many people that want these super zingy citrus scents to last 10 hours. Guess what? That isn't happening. You always have to add something that changes the scent profile to achieve that. If you want a very uplifting & unisex citrus fragrance this is a great option.

The opening is very nice, incredibly juicy citrus, imagine one of those lemon flavored Luigi italian ices, but add a little orange. But after about 15 minutes the magic wears off and your left with an aggressively decent citrus scent that is essentially gone by the 2 hour mark. Would recommend a small sample simply to enjoy the vibrant opening.

Ooh, this is such a warm, fresh and delightful little Spring/Summer fragrance number. The citrus in this instantly lifts up your spirits and the spices warm up your senses all the while cutting the edge off the blistering heat where I am at. My first Perris Monte Carlo and I am impressed!

Old school green citrus with a warm spicy twist. Citron and verbena immediately simulate that warm yet tart top note with a green herbal undercurrent. Pepper, cardamom and some ginger star in the dry down with what feels like some cedar in the base. Very nice!

The best citrus fragrance I have tried so far. This is very well balanced. A nice mix of orange and spices. It is somehow creamy. If this has any type of longevity it will be full bottle worthy. Alas, two hours in, fading away...

on my skin this is almost a bright,transparent lemon/bergamot with a sweet candy-ish like drydown, my perfect summer & gym scent.

Think "Tales from Zanzibar" by M.O.A.P.C. without the overdone sweet and sour. Quite good and the longevity on fabric is fair.

Very close to Acqua di Parma Blu Mediterraneo Bergamotto di Calabria. It obviously smells good, but there is no added value.

This one is nice and fresh. Smells like orange peel in my opinion. Smells no cedar though.

This is distinctive. Nothing new, already heard, with a macho and mature, yet familiar, non-offensive outline. A nice juicy opening of citrus is the best part, kept alive by ambroxan and other tonic, refreshing synth notes. I have pepper, ginger, maybe wormwood, on a sweet, green, almost watery musky base. For attitude and more it reminded me of Absinth of nasomatto. This is less alcoholic and less wild. Cleaner and more tame. It adapts well to mature skin, gentle shaves and beautiful sunny days. A little boring in the drydown.

Smells "OK" - nothing special like people are making out. It's a wannabe Xerjoff 1861 Renaissance. The difference being, that is a beast that lasts all day and beyond. This however, disappears instantly. I got no cloud around me at all when I wore it out for test on a hot summers day - so what's the point? It was hard enough to smell it on my wirst, with my wrist pressed against my nose. Not an unpleasant smell but absolutely not worth buying. Try the Xerjoff - it will give you what you're after.

It is a surprisingly long lasting and strong citrus scent. Lasts well over 3 hours, and is relatively light, does not tend to change unpleasantly. The base is green lemon and verbena rather than lime, combined with pink sweet pomelo 60:40, to which mint, ginger and green fresh spices are gradually added very lightly over time. I did not register any unpleasant undertones evoking cleaning products. I would describe the perfume as green fresh slightly gourmet.

Wow this is just fabulous- absolutely energising, exhilarating joy in a bottle. It is a true lemon centred perfume that is long-lasting. It leaves a delicious, oily residue on the skin which lasts for ages. It undergoes a subtle journey beginning with zingy, freezing cold lemons with just the perfect amount of sweetness, and after a while, a spiciness comes through from the ginger and probably the pepper which add a warmer depth. I don’t detect much iris in the drydown, just very soft musk. It is a superb example of a lemon perfume. I am not familiar with Acqua Vitae but this is just great - unisex, excellent longevity and sillage. Bring on the heat!

Oh man this is gorgeous! It really does smell, at the opening, like the most delicious lemon sorbet, lemon drop cocktail (minus any alcohol) fusion. I could dive into a pool of this and swim forever. The dry-down settles down and isn’t AS scrumptious, but very lovely. It’s sugary lemon refreshment in a classy, grown-up way. Longevity is fleeting-a couple hours on my skin, but it’s one of those where it’s delicacy IS part of its charm, and if it was more heavy-handed, it just wouldn’t be the same. I’ll be looking for the biggest bottle on the best sale, for next spring and summer!

The city of Diamante, an ancient colony of Magna Graecia, owes its name to a crow that was spotted with a large diamond in its beak, found in the waters of the Corvino river. A city that has cedar as its typical product, a wonderful citrus fruit that is the absolute protagonist in this fragrance. A fresh, citrus and spicy composition, very balanced as it also has a slightly sugary side that softens everything. In spring or summer in my opinion it reaches its maximum splendor. Really nice and well made. “Melangoli, cedars and lemons” painted by Bartolomeo Bimbi.

Another Awesome Citrus Par-fum, if your into citruses. Intoxicating. Its more citrus but the spice is blended in perfect. Its really either or for a man or woman, both can pull it off. The citrus really make its vibrant. Smells very fresh and realistic. I have to go out and test the performance. Everyone that smells it loves it. This is one that the designer and niche nose will appreciate.

This is better than aqua viva. One of the most beautiful citrusy fragrances i ever tried. It is simple but just give it time and you will fall in an addictive love on this one. Very unisex. I most add that it's more feminine than aqva viva. One of my all times favorite.

it's about $67 here in Indonesia, soft, a little creamy, delicious mouthwatering natural lemon,sparkling and uplifting, i've been wearing this for a couple days, i love it but i wish it has better performance.

Smells like Molecule 01 and/or Molecule 02 with a nice dose of sweet and zesty lemon. I don't mean that in a bad way as I like the scent. That said, it's not worth the full retail price in my opinion.

Probably the worst performance I’ve ever got out of a fragrance. The initial spray is really good, smells like a lemon starburst, but I can’t smell it after 10 minutes.

Remember the old candy called Lemon Heads 🍋...this smells like that candy tastes. I Love This!!!
