Rose de Taif Extrait

Rose is one of most beautiful ingredient in perfumery to me and taif rose is finest example of rose. Taif rose is named after a city in Saudi Arabia called taif and taif rose is sub category of damask rose which is common in Bulgaria and turkey, Legend is the origin of these flowers was from India which makes me very happy! Perris monte carlo Rose de taif extrait has used finest quality of taif rose and as you spray this you smell citrus which is lemon with touch of geranium with beautiful Taif rose and the opening makes you feel like you have are having lemonade while lying over petals of taif rose , As it comes to dry down you can smell Damask rose along with cloves coming into the picture with little bit of patchouli and Musk, the whole perfume has got elegance abot it and it just so wonderful to wear . Taif note on its own does not last long much however when surrounded with notes like nutmeg, Cloves, Red Rose and patchouli and blended so beautifully by Luca maffie it last very long and giving good silage through 8-10 hours of its existence. I also think that rose and spices are made for each other in perfumery and we have got some very good perfume which have used these two notes like POAL, Pasteum rose and Rose 31 by Le labo. Rose with spices also makes it unisex as some folks find rose to be feminine which I don’t agree, it’s a cultural difference as rose can be easier to pull off for guys in eastern culture as compare to western culture where they associate rose as feminine. I sometime think why I love perfume so much? Then I get to smell and wear beautiful perfume like Rose de Taif By Perris monte carlo and it makes me reaffirms my faith in this hobby and art! This is compliment magnet as till now I have not met a single person male or female who has not appreciated this perfume. This perfume cost around 350$ for 50 ML so is that price justified? In this case I must say yes because for one tola (12 gram) of pure taif oil cost around 400$ so this being extrait version with over 30% oil concentration i think price is very much Justified! Glorious, intense, pure rose bomb! I had been searching for a realistic rose soliflore that had really great sillage and longevity. This is it! The gentle spices do add a boost but essentially this is the most intense pure rose perfume I have ever encountered. The quality is undeniable. Sillage is huge especially in the first few hours. Afterwards it sits closer to the skin, but still projects decently. This is wonderful and can be worn at any season, any time, anywhere.

This is one of the best Taif Rose based fragrances I have, although I do notice sometimes that I get the geranium a lot more than it should, but sometimes this perfume plays tricks on you and it changes and throws me off and I get wiffs of Lemon myrtle and sometimes I get Rose. This is such an amazing fragrance and I will cherish it for a very long time. I absolutely love this fragrance and it was one of my best purchases of 2021.

Easily my favorite rose frag, likely because it's both highly concentrated with great longevity as well as pushes masculine into rose geranium territory. The lemon just makes it brighter. It appears that the key was to grab this on FragranceBuy when you could get the 50ml extrait for around $140 US. Now you'll likely spend anywhere between $280 and $325 US for the same bottle.

It’s beautiful , but too overpowering . I would like it to wear when I will be in Dubai , and test , how it will feels in that climate . Didn’t see the point to wear it in European weather . I get a feeling , that this perfume is for Middle East only ☀️

Oh my this is a heavenly tea rose. Comes in good concentration that it actually forms a membrane of oil on your skin. Extremely long stay on skin and fabric.

Very potent rose scent. Despite the spices, I mostly pick up geranium, lemon and roses. It does have that spicy/muskiness in the background perhaps but I found it only develops to that kind of vibe when I spray it on my clothes. On my skin however, It's a completely different story. Very lemon-y geranium rose and I hate to say it but after some hours, it smells almost urine-like on my skin. To me the rose in this is quite green and realistic; almost like a garden. So picture a garden with tons of roses and leafy green plants with a lemon tree and geranium sprinkled in. That very realistic green rose just happens to smell a bit like urine on my skin after a while unfortunately. It's beautifully formulated but this is a scent that I definitely wouldn't wear on its own since it's so potent and garden-like; almost like an old lady smell. It's definitely a try before you buy because I feel as if the notes are a little bit misleading. It gives the image that this perfume is a spicy overdose of rose with a musky dry down but I personally disagree (at least on my skin).

The scent profile is not for me especially in the first 2 hours. Its a very deep taif rose that has been soaked into rose water for very long and then some spices and lemon were added to this. That kind of smell reminds me of old ladies. The opening was big and it might turn your stomach if you like ethereal fragrances. The drydown is the best thing about it. Its rosey, fresh, and alluring. I think the key to this one is to spray it 1-2 sprays on your clothes 2 hours before leaving the house. I made a mistake of spraying it twice on the same point in the back of my hand. I had to rub it off and it wouldn’t go. This is very very strong. A little goes a long way. It projects and fills the room around you. The longevity is also phenomenal. The price is around 300$ which is high for a 50ml but if you like that dna and you want something that will perform beastly for just 1-2 sprays I think you will like it.

I'm so happy that I've tried before buying- it's too masculine for me. Becouse of the lemon and the huge dose geranium...And it's very realistic, green something. I seeking the perfect rose scent for women and after several test now the result is Royal Crown Al Kimiya...That is taif rose too. Unfortunately the same price like this. It's ok, but IMHO for MAN. EDIT: After one Year I tested again and today I love it very much...I'm older or I tested several scents...I don't know but I think this will be a FB buying.

Thanks to the splendid review of FoxySardar I took the plunge and bought it. It was a blind buy. Foxysardar is spot on. This should be called Taif the ripper. :) It rips the nose with genuine and the finest taif rose with nose tingling goodness. Compliments will galore if you wear this to a party or this will help you meditate silently at home. This is my first wearing (sprayed just 20 minutes back) and its perfectly spiced and lemony heavenly roses all the way.

This is a SUPREME red rose with hints of taif rose. Oh how this is an EXTREME sharp on my nose as it almost rips my nose up. This is all about the Arabian style roses, with that sharpness, and super Arabie style rose that made it impossible to sniff any other note. If you love the red roses, and the Arabian style fragrances then this is definitely for you.

I somehow felt that this is different from the EDP version (which in my view is proper lemony Taif Rose). This one is kind of heavy and reminds me little bit of black aoud and Royal Crown Al Kimiya.

Rose de taif is very good. Reminds me of frederic malle Une Rose. Very close to real rose scent although Une Rose smells more authentic. This one is stronger.
