Tubereuse Absolue

This is one that really needs to be worn together: EDP + Extrait is what makes it complete. I own quite a few tuberose fragrances, but these two are my personal favorites. They represent the most extreme and pure expression of tuberose. The EDP version is more transparent, with a stronger green character. The tuberose here feels like a newly opened flower, still carrying the rawness of stems and leaves, along with the floating sweetness of white florals and a faint coolness from lavender. The tuberose doesn’t appear immediately; instead, it slowly unfolds out of the green stems. It has structure and never feels cloying. What makes it special is that subtle green breath rising from deep within the bud, preserving the plant’s freshness and vitality. The Extrait version is fuller, with noticeably greater density and depth. The higher concentration doesn’t increase sweetness; it tightens the structure. It also begins with greenery, but very quickly the tuberose steps forward like a solo singer entering the stage, revealing the moist, slightly raw character of a flower just beginning to bloom. Here the tuberose feels richer and more humid, like a full bouquet freshly cut, still carrying the sap and vitality of the plant. In the middle stage, woods and musk appear, giving the tuberose more weight and a more fleshy presence. If the EDP is like a bud opening in daylight, the Extrait feels like a flower fully blooming at night, almost reaching the point of over-ripeness, with the floral intensity pressing downward. I usually layer the two together. It feels like experiencing the entire life of a tuberose blossom, and the longevity becomes stronger as well. Tuberose can easily become overly powdery or vulgar if it’s not handled well. That’s a common problem in many tuberose perfumes. A well-crafted tuberose keeps the lush floral richness while preserving the living green quality of the flower itself. Perris Monte Carlo manages to do exactly that. For anyone looking for a realistic white floral while avoiding the trap of excessive sweetness or powderiness, these two are well worth trying. You realize that true beauty often lies in a bloom that cannot be held back.

بچه هایی که منو میشناسند میدونند من خیلی فن بوی گل مریم تو عطر نیستم ولی به لطف گسترش علم شیمی طی چند سال گذشته مولکول های استخراج شده بیش از پیش به طبیعت بوی گل ها نزدیکتر شدند . بارها اشاره کردم که رو به سنتتیک شدن عطرها با گسترش علم شیمی برای هر ژانری بد بود جز ژانر فلورال .بشکل نفیسی ساخت عطرهای فلورال با غنا و کیفییت بالا توسط برندهای خوب رو به گسترش هست . کارنال فلاور دیگه یکه تاز دنیای عطرهای مریم محور نیست ‌. توبروز ابسلو حاصل همکاری موسسه روبرته و خانه عطر سازی پردیس می‌تونه یک مدعی قدرتمند و بینهایت با کیفییت باشه . استارت عطر انفجاری از گل‌های سفیده . یاس .مریم . گاردنییا . نرولی . بینهایت باطروات . قدرتمند با حس کنترل شده ایندولیک . تو نیم ساعت اول شمیم این عطر بوی فرا بهشتی داره . احساس میکنید تو ی گلخونه سرپوشیده از گل مریم رفتید . پیرو رایحه زیبای وایت فلورال حس سبز و تیز از بوی پتی گرین با گلها ادغام میشه . مثل اینکه شکوفه های نرولی رو با کاسبرگ سبزش توی دست له کنید و استشمام کنید و ی حس بوی عسل مانند که قطعا از اسپنیش بروم و نرولی هست در ادامه توبروز ابسولو مثل اکثر عطرهای پریس مونته کارلو بسیار پرمایه و غنی فرمول شده و بازی نت ها تمومی ندارم تو قلب عطر با حفظ ماهییت آکورد بویایی وایت فلورال که در شروع شاهد بودیم حس بوی ایندولیک مشهود تر میشه .و عطر بوی واکسی و جیری بخودش میگیره و گل مریم تو قلب رایحه بیشتر از هر زمان دیگه ای به نمایش در میاد . بنظر من این عطر ی شاهکاره از کیفییت و زیبایی هیچ ربطی به دنیای دمده و کهنه بوی گل‌های مریم تو عطرهای قدیمی نداره توبروز ابسولو بعد از یکساعت مثل پر . سبک بال فرود میاد رو بستری چوبی اسپایسی با غلبه بوی هل سبز که نمایش رو تموم کنه . نکته بسیار مهم تو این عطر کیفیت خارق العاده بدون تخریب رایحه هست . نکته دوم حضور 100% نت گل مریم از شروع تا پایان نکته سوم حفظ طراوت بوی سبز که ابدا نه فید میشه نه تخریب نه ضایع .بعد از چند ساعت انگار هنوز داری شکوفه نرولی با کاسبرگ سبزش که تو دستت له کردی رو بو می‌کنی . نکته آخر پرفورمنس بی نظیر و جانانه این عطره. عطر یونیسکس معرفی شده ولی آقایون قید مصرفش رو باید بزنند بشدت فمینن هست . از نظر شباهت فقط تو درای داون اندکی به فضای فلوغ د اورنج از سرج نزدیک میشه . . This is a gorgeous photo-realistic and approachable tuberose, especially for those who find bolder interpretations of the flower intimidating or affronting. The opening is crisp and green, as though you cut the night blooming tuberose yourself to enjoy indoors for the evening. This green vegetal quality is fleeting (in case that worries you) and quickly gives way to the delicate and soft tuberose of this composition in an exchange which I find magnetic. The green stage ensures the fragrance doesn't feel linear or too simplistic, I find myself craving the freshly cut opening and re-applying to experience the flower develop again on the skin. Perris Monte Carlo is acclaimed for their use of raw materials and as such, the sillage of this fragrance is definitely more personal. That is often not a bad thing for white florals, given the portion of the population who remain resistant to this note family. However, to their credit, I can still smell the lush but fresh tuberose on my sleepwear the following morning. I had tried this in the discovery set, couldn't put the sample down and immediately after unfortunately shattering the spritzer with just a third remaining, ordered a full bottle to ensure I won't be without this beautiful tuberose for long. If you've had trouble with tuberose in the past and want to appreciate the essence of the flower itself before revisiting the juiced up tuberose powerhouse fragrances we all know, I recommend you try Tubereuse Absolue in at least a sample size and be prepared to be won over!

این عطر برای من از اون عطراست که در وصفش می گویم: هرچه خوبان همه دارند تو یکجا داری😊 برای شخص من عطری که طبع معتدلی داشته باشه و قابل استفاده در چهارفصل و تمامی ساعات شبانه روز باشه و در کنارش پخش خوب و ماندگاری طولانی داشته باشه خودش مستحق یک لایک طلایی جانانه است. چه برسد به اینکه خوش رایحه و پر بازخورد هم باشد. این خوشبوی ماندگار در اپنینگ باترکیبی از آرامش و تمیزی لوندر - گرما و شیرینی هل در کنار تلخیِ اندک برگاموت و صمغ گالبانیوم شروع میشود.وجود صمغ گالبانیوم در کنار روایح گلی در اینکار ، باعث متفاوت و خاص شدنش در میانِ عطرهای گلی دیگر می شود. البته خیلی زود( حدود ده دقیقه) این ترکیب جای خود را به ترکیب روایح گلی که پرچم دارشان مریم است می‌دهد.در نت میانی ، و در میان گل‌های دیگر ، بیشتر یاسمن احساس میشود. ولی همچنان قلب تپنده ی کار ، همان مریم تازه و سرحال است که گویا تازه چیده شده است و روایح سبز هم به همراه دارد.و این مریم ی خوشبو ،تازه ،سبز و شهوانی؛ تا انتهای درای داون چنان دلبری می‌کند که محال است ، عشاق مریم را به وجد نیاورد. نت پایه ی عطر که رایحه را برای ساعات زیادی ماندگار می‌کند از همکاری شکوفه ی پرتقال- خس خس و سدر و مشک به وجود آمده است. با اینکه در کل یکمقدار رایحه ساختار خطی دارد و زیاد شاهد تغییر و بازی نتها نیستیم ولی همین خطی بودن هم روح نواز و بازخورد گیرنده است.در کل برای من عطری جذاب ، همه کاره ، بالانس، معتدل ، شیرینِ متعادل، کمی سبز، شهوانی ،دارای پخش خیلی خوب- ماندگاری خیلی عالی و کاملا زنانه بود❣

I recently had the chance to sample Tubereuse Absolue by Perris Monte Carlo, when my friend showed up wearing it last Saturday night. This is an absolutely delightful scent that packs a punch of sophistication and masculine energy. At first, I was instantly hit with the prominent notes of tuberose and vanilla, which created a rather interesting and surprisingly pleasing, yet subtle accord. Tubereuse Absolue is definitely a romantic scent, as it is very inviting and comforting on the nose, but the main notes of tuberose and vanilla do not overshadow the other ingredients of this scent. The middle notes introduce the slightly sweet and tart scent of bergamot, which adds a slightly more “edgy” feel to the scent, while the base notes of patchouli, vetiver, and sandalwood create a deep, earthy, and woody finish. This scent is really a gorgeous combination that results in something truly unique and incredibly beautiful. I absolutely love this scent and can certainly recommend it to any man looking for a sophisticated and masculine scent to wear. Tubereuse Absolute by Perris Monte Carlo has the perfect balance of sweetness and darkness, making it a truly sophisticated scent that can be worn at any occasion!

this is like the twin brother of carnal flower. yes both are extremely unisex but carnal flower has more feminine touches from the coconut, and it smells creamier overall. tubereuse absolue smells masculine and more bitter. they smell extremely similar and im happy theres an alternative because i cant spray 305 euros every day. the performance is great i think? initial spray it smells very strong and green but after 5 minutes u get wafts of animalic white florals and its just really nice. i cant say much else because its just very true to its notes. if you know what tuberose and galbanum smells like, you will know what this smells like. the lavender is not noticeable. the cardamom is just slightly there to add a greenness. the broom adds a slight bit of honey and nectar to the rest of the florals, which are both heady and effervescent at the same time. the white florals uplift the tuberose without getting in its way. smells very high quality and ive gotten lots of compliments for it so definitely give it a try

Tuberéuse Absolue takes me to Southern Italy, to a straw fields in the summer. Galbanum and lavender surround you as the weather is hot, dry and the sun blinding. Tubereuse Absolue is positioned in the exact half of the axis between masculine and feminine. Where dry galbanum, herbaceous lavender and spicy cardamom move towards the masculine, pungent and dry side, tuberose and gardenia move towards the feminine, sensual, luminous, meaty side. In the dry down, you can smell the best of sweetness, not brought by vanilla or gourmand notes, but given by the bouquet of flowers that creates an olfactory sensation that makes me think of flowers covered with a few drops honey (I think it's the broom). The tuberose is always the main character, accompanied - in order - by gardenia, broom and jasmine. If you haven't tried this perfume yet and you love the note of tuberose, I highly recommend you try it because it is amazing.

The perfect meaty tuberose scent that I have been looking for a long time. Starts out with a green touch accompanying the tuberose and then after like 30 mins smoky and woody touches start to appear but pretty much at the background supporting the tuberose which becomes the true main character leaving behind all the green partners from the start. After some time I get the slightest touch of animalics which may be caused by the musk at the base plus some of the animalic aspects that tuberose can sometimes have when it's a bit indolic. It lasts a long time, sillage is quite big too. I cannot recommend this fragrance enough if you are looking for a realistic tuberose fragrance

An exquisite green, slightly camphorous tuberose. This falls in the category I like to define as "cooler tuberose scent", as contrast to warmer, creamier and soapier tuberoses (such as: Fracas, Giorgio, Amarige etc.). It indeed carries some similarities to the equally cooler Carnal Flower to the point that - even if it is not a dupe - Perris' Tuberose could be an excellent quality alternative at a minor price point. Compared to other Perris' creations, this has a bit lower longevity (6hrs), but a good diffusivity.

Freshest tuberose I've ever tried! All the other tuberose I've tried made me feel makeup-ish. I have the CF hair mist, and I can say that they are similar in that tuberose is dominant without much of other white floral, but the coconut in CF is quite obvious and can be "too sticky" for some. This one is simply green and juicy and flowy, something a young innocent girl can pull off. I can't detect the cedar and vetiver. Longevity is great but not eternal.

This is quite perfect: emanates a natural, fresh fragrance that is bit velvety like tuberose flowers in a vase on a sunny windowsill. It's also close to Creed's Iris Tubereuse but doesn't set some people's noses sneezing (that may be due to the age of my bottle). I would buy another bottle but perfume doesn't keep well in my home. I highly recommend this to all tuberose and 'white floral' enthusiasts, a really lovely creation.

This is my 3rd one from the collection and I am SO happy that I went ahead and pulled the trigger. This way a blind buy and is truly beautiful. It smells like a TRUE Fresh tuberose and is absolutely lovely. I have Love Tuberose from Amouage and this has similarities. I will update more once I have actually done a full day wear.

A Good tuberose with gardenia, green,with nuance of honey,musk,orange blossom and soft bergamot. Nothing of innovative . But a safe scent. Excellent performance. 8/10

This is a very nice tuberose, photorealistic and vegetal... This is a good substitute for carnal flower, though this one is a bit sweeter in the dry down...

شروعی سبز و به غایت یبا این عطر دقیقا مراتب آغاز و پایان رو رعایت می کنه و بازی رو خوب بلده،از همین رو با عطری پویا،غیر خطی و جذاب طرف هستیم در ابتدا سبز،اسپایسی،چوبی باز میشه و آکورد گُلی و در راس اون مریم،مثل سایر عطر های مریم محور به شدت چسبناک و شیرین نیست و انصافا زیبا کار شده ترکیب گُل ها،علاوه بر عدم تمرکز بر روی مریم،باعث ایجاد یک وایب سبز و گُلی شده که بینی رو به عادت وا نمی داره و هر لحظه بوی عطر رو داخل بینی حس می کنید میانه های عمر عطر اما کمی رو به شیرینی میره و انگار که گل ها تبدیل به یک عُصاره غلیظ و شَهد گون شده اند که شیرینی ای نباتی،کمی تصنعی و البته پرقدرت به اون اضافه میشه و این عطر رو از لیست چهار فصل بودن خارج می کنه در نهایت پایان بندی زیبا که شیرینی عطر کنترل میشه و آکورد فلورال مجدد رنگ سبز به خودش می گیره و حس پودری مشکی بیشتر دریافت میشه وجه ایندولیک گل ها به نظرم از چهارچوب خارج نمیشه و سرکش نیست . ********************** scent:8.5/10 longevity:9.5/10 sillage:9/10 purchase value:4/10 ******* overall:7.8/10

I agree with the review below this is a meaty tuberose. Straight away I knew it was different than many of the above fragrances I smelled. The lavender and the galbanum come strong for me in the opening, giving an almost eucalyptus vibe. But that tones down in like 5 minutes. I get a green tuberose in the first flush of bloom. A young bud just opening to the world. She is stem and grass green but upon further inspection her white petals are full of a bitter musk, soft spice and frothy cream. She is only slightly indolic since she is just a young girl and new to the world. If you want a very young tuberose that is not sweet or powdery in the slightest. A true representation of the actual flower this perfume is a good way to go.

Tuberose is a note i love but it also can make me feel quite sick if its too strong and overpowering. I love the tuberose candle by diptyque but even when burning i need to have a window open. Perris Monte Carlo Tuberose is a fantastic scent and the performance surprised me. Easily last 15+ hours with moderate sillage. The problem for me with the fragrance is its very strong for the first few hours and i found it quite overpowering but if your looking for a powerhouse tuberose fragrance look no further, this is the one. Overall its a fantastic fragrance but possibly slightly too strong for me personally but it is a fantastic tuberose.

To me, this is a more linear and less feminine version of Carnal Flower (my all time favorite fragrance). It doesn't have the coconut blast that CF has. I detect a leather accord here that makes this scent a bit less sexy and more gender neutral to me than CF, as well. It's definitely still feminine overall, but less aggressively so. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy this scent quite a bit, but I'll pass on a bottle because to me, this just doesn't compete with Carnal Flower. Even as someone who loves to collect fragrances, I don't feel you need both.

The opening is green, bright, stemmy. It turns slightly soapy and bitter as it develops on my skin, especially if I sniff right on my wrist, but it is quite pretty, if somewhat austere, when getting wafts of it from further away. I personally prefer more "flowery" florals - to my nose, this is mostly green and woody, cool and dry, rather than lush and petaly and heady. It's more intellectual than emotional. But the quality of the ingredients and the skill of the composition are obvious.

This is a wonderful daytime soft tuberose scent and would be office appropriate. It's soft and not at all screechy or soapy, and it's green, but not as fresh-green or as attention-grabbing as Carnal Flower. To my nose, it's closer to Dusita Melodie de L'Amour, but with more green. I like to save the Dusita for evenings and find this Tubereuse to be more appropriate for daytime wear. It's closest to DSH Tubereuse; a similar photorealistic daytime tuberose.

Beautiful creation of heady white florals. Tubereuse Absolue is smooth and as realistic as having fresh tuberose, gardenia and jasmine right under your nose. I couldn’t detect the top or bottom notes at all. High quality for the price point and one not to be overlooked for a test but I do much prefer PMC Ylang Ylang Nosy Be but that’s just because I’m a yellow floral kind of girl.

Starts out like carnal flower, that heady narcotic smell, but with a stronger sweet element that reads to me as grape juice. Nice sillage, a little soapier in the drydown and quite soapy when I stick my nose to my wrist, though not as overall clean as Diptyque do son. On me this would be a night/date scent, and for that I prefer carnal flower.

A very serious, stoic tuberose serving authority due to the green framing . She is cold and embodies institutional power. Usually tuberose is playful and seductive but not here. Here she represents polished, cold, pristine authority with a sensible gardenia emerging in the dry down to add diplomacy and a touch of softness.

It’s lovely. On me, a tuberose soliflore scent, beautiful, and light and tiny bit fruity, absolutely perfect for spring and summer. Good value too. Those who find this similar to Carnal Flower - no, this one is much lighter, brighter and fruitier. Charming rather than carnal.

Beautiful tuberose! It really does smell like a solifolore to me, but a very lovely one! Very smooth, kind of linear, it does one job and it does it perfectly: highlighting the beauty of tuberose.

A lovely take on tuberose--I don't like tuberose and avoid it wherever possible, but this is wearable for me and even office-friendly.

I've been looking for a unisex or men's perfume that smells like fresh flowers for a long time, and I finally found it in this one. But I must admit that smelling only like flowers can be a bit boring—not because the perfume is bad, but because I feel it's not entirely for me. It smells fantastic—the tuberose along with the gardenia and that greenish background is like smelling a bouquet of flowers. Unfortunately, I’ll have to keep searching. I’ll use this perfume for personal enjoyment or when I’m feeling romantic and want to hug and kiss someone. Still, I’m glad to have it in my collection.

There is a very green gardenia with tuberose as for my nose, I hear the roaring smell of white flowers after some time and it makes me ill. Very beautiful and too strong for me. I was looking for a middle variant between La chasse aux papillons lightness and Gucci Bloom sweetness and hardness and I was hoping that I would find some here, but it doesn't work. Great work for somebody, but not for me and I regret it.

I have an original sample from PMC and I really wonder what the fragranticians have for perfume: yes it is a nice take on green tuberose and I like it but with 3 sprays on each arm I barely smell anything but a light floral skin scent after half an hour. Thus nice scent, longevity very weak. Not worth the price.

The early phase is enjoyably spicy and fresh but the fragrance becomes increasingly bitter feeling as time goes on. At the same time, a clean musk starts appearing and together with the bitterness, it creates a wet concrete effect that ultimately throws the Tubereuse Absolue off balance.

Effectivement c'est une tubéreuse bien verte , la bergamote est bien présente et donne un vrai coté frais et légèrement piquant. Du coup c'est assez léger et aerien C'est meme un parfum de seconde peau sur moi la tenue et la projection sont faibles.

Most similar to Carnal Flower out of all the tuberoses I've tried. Longevity isn't great on my skin. Dries down a bit more herbal-green than Carnal flower.

It's a good perfume but not for me. There is too much gardenia for me and it's too tropical, too heady for me. It's like going into the humid greenhouse. I do not feel it is green because green means for me freshness and smell of leaves or grass - and here you have tropical white flowers in full bloom. This gives me vibes of Elizabeth Taylor Gardenia - it's not the same scent but the gardenia note is very similar here. Good parameters, good quality and if you love intoxicating white flowers then you should give it a try.

1:45 - I sprayed this without checking anything about it in order to cover up another perfume. My first thought was tuberose and toothpaste. The "tang" of the tuberose was quickly softened by a super creamy orange blossom. Thirty minutes later, it's an unusually unisex but somehow still pretty white floral. I'm impressed. Vetiver and bergamot are my feminine Achilles Heel. Can't wear them without smelling like the manliest man that ever did man. This has *just* enough to keep the florals from getting too assertive in my sinuses. I'm going to try this again tomorrow, after a shower, so it's not competing with an amber/leather blech. edit: I've worn this sample a lot. I'm going back and forth on if I want a full bottle. It is a very well done perfume, and balances between white and green in a way I haven't encountered before. The price is right and it has good longevity. There are just too many stand-outs that are in the queue. This doesn't stand out, it is polite. Lovely, and I highly recommend it, but it doesn't get me excited and huffing my skin to smell more deeply. If I worked in an office where I was in close proximity to anyone else, this would be an easy choice, but I can get away with wearing whatever crazy nonsense I want. edit2: right after I wrote that last bit, I got an unusually exuberant compliment on "whatever it is that you're wearing today" from a coworker when we went to lunch, so yay. Also, now at midnight, I'm reminded of how great the dry down is on clothes. My shirt smells amazing. edit3: the first person to see me this morning stopped mid-sentence to tell me how great I smelled. This is getting a little ridiculous. The extended longevity and large sillage of Tubereuse Absolue would normally make something a "beast" but this is a mild mannered, chilled out beast.

A fragrance that places tuberose at the center in a full, direct, uncompromising way. On my skin, longevity is high—easily exceeding 7–8 hours—with a steady presence that gradually moves into a more intimate phase. The character is enveloping and radiant, with a very evident sensuality. It remains wearable in a unisex sense, but on feminine skin it finds a more natural, fluid expression, where all its nuances blend with greater harmony. It’s a fragrance that performs best in mild to warm seasons, especially in the evening, when its more enveloping side can fully emerge. A fragrance built with great quality. One of the most successful interpretations of tuberose. And when a note is crafted this well—you can tell immediately.

Tubéreuse Absolue. With a name like that, one must be fully prepared to sample the scent, ...Too late! ...I sprayed it, and we're off to the races. This tuberose/tubéreuse is amazing. Among the most full and BALANCED that I've smelled in awhile, This scent reminds me of an entire genre of white floral perfumes that were once common, but have now become rare. The note leans neither too sweet nor too indolic. There is no suggestion of either corn chips (no longer amusing) or bubblegum (more fun but still incomplete). This is likely a tuberose that I should use as a comparative reference for others that will come along. Of course, in truth, part of the secret here is that this is a tuberose-led mixed floral masquerading/marketed as a tubirose soliflore. Those other floral notes: gardenia, jasmine, orange blossom, likely even broom, are working upon tuberose the same way a make up artist works to hide the flaws of a face. The result is a remarkable act of aesthetic deception that presents nothing to the senses but an unsullied visage (or tubéreuse note) of sheer semi-perfection. Edit: I always try for honesty. This does get slightly 'corny' in the deeper drydown, but not exceptionally so.

Guys I will describe my impressions comparing PMCT TO FM’s Carnal Flower as they seem to me very similar: PMCT is a younger and kinder/more understanding sister of FM’s Carnal Flower. PMCT is the one easier to pull out as a scent during the day, a tad softer , developing carnal but softer appeal sooner on the skin, in a milder way than CF. As a tuberose fan I would wear PMCT as an everyday scent (it has a great projection and longevity 5-6 hrs), whereas CF - is an obliging fragrance for special occasions, say when I want to be irresistible and confidently sexy. These two fragrances are a must for tuberose fans. I should mention that for me personally it’s hard to find Robert Piguet’s Fracas that appealing, I can’t bring myself to buying a FB, although I live the brand and aknowledge the master and class of its creator: I guess here the tuberose fans split in 2 camps - green and carnal flower supporters vs soapy boozy tuberose. Being on a “green”/raw tuberose side - PMCT is a great addition to my collection that I can’t imagine being without any more.

This is a gorgeous, watercolor tuberose. Realistic — leaf and stem — but rendered in a softer palette than, say, Carnal Flower, which to me is like a Dutch masters realer-than-real floral against a pitch black background. Tubereuse Absolue starts out gently herbal, leaning slightly sweeter as the tuberose begins to bloom. It never enters fully-tropical territory, despite the presence of gardenia and jasmine. I am struggling to find the words to describe this scent, but it is the gentlest, “green” tuberose I’ve encountered. If you’ve ever been turned off by a tuberose, just know that this one has no bubblegum, no banana, no harsh metallic effect. Does it smell like Carnal Flower? CF is way sweeter (due to the coconut and melon), more rotting/camphoraceous, metallic, and indolic — none of which are inherently bad qualities IMO. I love Carnal Flower but I have only tested it from a small splash vial; from an atomizer, I think it would just be too huge for me, I say as a lover of tuberose, even. I prefer Tubereuse Absolue right now!

If you've never tried Perris Monte Carlo, the are a house you must get your nose on. It's great for people who are sensitive to synthetics because all the fragrances I have from them are all very realistic smelling. Arancia di Sicilia is the most realistic, fresh orange scent. This is a very real, green, fresh tuberose that has elements of the leaves and stems in it-it's like your head is in the bush smelling the whole plant, blooms, stems, and all. The first couple of minutes are too green for my taste, but after that phase has passed, I'm left with a very realistic, fresh, sweet tuberose that's not excessively creamy, dry, or bubblegum. This is a perfume for those who want natural, real smelling oils in their perfumes. If they are synthetic, these are damn good ones. Honestly, if I close my eyes, it's literally like my head is in the shrub.

Tested this today and despite liking tuberose I have to say that here it just immediately made me think of air freshener. Too simple, no depths or nuances to work it out in something less uninspiring. It's just a basic tuberose, meaty and a tad green. None of the listed other notes assert themselves to bring spark and depth to this at any time. It remains linear and unimaginative all along. Feels like I've smelled same in candles and fresheners as mentioned. It's not a bad fragrance, but I'd never wear it as perfume as I believe many others would associate it as I did with less glamorous uses. Nope for me.

I like this better than CF as it is lacking the musk. Therefore I find it fresher, lighter, and greener. I want to add that I wore this once when my husband had friends over and as soon as I walked into the room they were all like you smell amazing. Then they stared at me like that scene in Seinfeld when Jerry, Kramer, and George all learn that it's Elaine leaving the dirty messages on Jerry's tape recorder. So FYI at least here among the middle aged in middle America, it seems to be quite a hit with the men.

An interesting take on tuberose. The hit of spice from the cardamom and the dusty green dryness of the galbanum really give it that 'je ne sais quoi'. In fact, I would say the addition of those two accords make this a slightly bitter tuberose that would work well on men. And that's not something you find very often!

Spicy green tuberose. The cardamom note makes it a little bit different. It doesn't feel coconutty like many tuberose scents tend to be. It actually feels a little bit airy. This is very similar to La Chasse Aux Papillons, petit Fracas, Carnal Flower...but slightly fresher. Very good!

Heady, bitter, green tuberose, there is no sweetness in it, no friendly attitude at all. Classy and austere, it could work as a cold n.19 for serious tuberose lovers. Stellar longevity. Beautiful but kind of intimidating.

Sorry to say this is just another nice & conventional tuberose (like many that came out this year)...at least it's a hundred dollars cheaper than all these other ones that's marketed as "luxury."

eh, transparent tuberose with a bit of green. I can't see how this leans male, but everyone has an opinion. High quality typical tuberose with an interesting mild smoky note when first applied.

The opening is beautiful but the drydown is a bit discordant, I think due to the broom as it's too sour and green. If you want to isolate only the white florals from this, get Gucci Bloom.

Quite a masculine tuberose. The combination of cardamom and acid smells a little like yellow mustard on the first spray. Now that I smell the mustard, I can't unsmell it. Sorry
