Gardenia & Jasmine of Cashmere

I love flower fragrances, but here the flowers are just too screechy.

It's so whatever. Starts off smelling like a cup of jasmine tea, evolves into mushroomy gardenia on top of peachy but barely sweet vanilla. As much as I love jasmine tea, drinking it and smelling of it are two different things and the latter is not my jam especially given how herbal it feels (but it smells quite natural indeed, I'll give it that.) This is for someone very into realistic white florals mixed with fruit. For my taste there's no oomph here... At all. It's not alluring, not captivating, not tantalizing, not fun, not even quirky. This is the scent of boredom to me. The atomizer leaks, spritzes very liberally and seems very on budget. :/ UPD: The base is screechy and made up of synthetic junk which gets more prominent as the juice matures. If you're sensitive to that kind of stuff, this is a terrible pick. I'll be giving it away to someone less sensitive in that regard.

I love white and yellow florals, but the problem is that in certain combinations they can become quite unpleasant - the correct term is 'sweaty'. This is exactly what happens with Gardenia and Jasmine of Cashmere, because the flowers produce that sweaty effect; to make matters worse, they are doused in spices and resins, adding to the dense and challenging vibe. However, after a few hours, the scent becomes much softer and more pleasant, and continues to linger on my skin for another ten hours! So, if you're willing to endure the carnal opening, you will be rewarded with many hours of bliss.
