Wow! This is powerful! This is an amazing scent for the price! From the brazilian niche house of Phebo, which is the most creative fragrance brand from Brazil. While other brazilian fragrance houses copies from international designer brands, Phebo launches a amazing juices like this one for very cheap (200 BRL, about 40-50USD). This smells very niche, and also very very expansive. Starts out with a sage bomb, a bit reminiscent of Chanel Antaeus. The green notes compliment the sage, making it a tad fresher, a little more wearable on brazilian heat. The main note here is the Oud, or better put, the Oud+Sage combo. This combination of notes brings out a fresher nuance from Oud, while still retaining all of its richness. The apple gives it a bit of sweetness, but just barely. This smells just like a brand new, leather seat car, although it has no leather notes. Fresh, green herbal Oud. But my words do no justice to this juice, as it is very complex. It is dark and sensual to my nose. Very manly, and I really can't see women wearing this. Unfortunaly, it has been discontinued, but in all honesty I think it might be brought back, since Phebo is rebranding their collection. Smells similar to Mahogany Africa, another brazilian niche fragrance from the house of Mahogany, but this one is greener, while Mahogany Africa is spicier and warmer. Jacaranda is signature scent worthy. It smells like power, like a very powerful man. Again, similar in vibe to Antaeus. But while Antaeus has the animalic notes, making it a more sensual juice, this has not. The image Antaeus broadcasts is that of a powerful, yet vulnerable, hot-headed, irrational man. Jacaranda on the other hand paints an image of a equally as powerful, yet cold minded, rational man. This would be James Bond Cassino Royale's Le Chiffre's scent. Powerfull, cold, clever, and evil! Can be used in a cooler summer night in small doses, but this is a winter's day scent. Fresh, but deep. Use it formally, would go perfect on a suit, but a nice dark shirt, or specially a leather jacket works very well with this one Good longevity, about 10 hours on my skin due to it's heavy notes. Very high quality ingredients, smells at least 10 times it's price. If Tom Ford were to sell this exact juice as Bois de Sauge (Sage Wood) for 400+ USD, people would buy and rave it. This is TF quality! If you find it online, buy it! Blind buy it if Oud is your thing.
