Radiant Grace

Excuse me, but where is the dedicated page for the intense version of this scent?? I, amongst the other citizens of Fragrantica, seek justice and we demand a page for Radiant Grace eau de parfum intense!! Get cracking!!! Anyway, so this regular version is pretty good. I normally HATE cherry top notes in perfume because it smells like someone that had their last moments at the nursing home and you find them maybe 8 hours later, if you know you know... But this cherry... Smells realistic and enjoyable. Picture yourself standing at the fridge for a pre dinner snack, you grab the cherries you got from the market yesterday. They're nicely chilled, droplets formed on their skin, they have been washed and nicely placed in a bowl. Each juicy deep red flavoursome bites fill the air with its luscious sweet fragrance.... Well, sorta... Cos you also smell something else... You totally forgot about the nag champa incense and a vanilla candle that you lit half an hour ago as a little treat for yourself. You're slightly overwhelmed but you get used to it quickly because the scent is pretty linear and consistent until the smoke goes out and the bowl is full of pits. Yep. It's a pretty ordinary event, but that translates into being safe for every day wear. If you want it to make it a bit classier and more sophisticated I suggest putting emphasis on the sandalwood note, layer it with a smoky sandalwood oud for a sumptuous winter/autumn aura.

Schoolhouse Rock was right, 3 IS a magic number! I found most of the Philosophy's line just ok-pleasant but nothing special or remarkable. However, Radiant Grace stands apart. The simplicity of the construction, cherry, jasmine and sandalwood make this very singular and impactful. A lot of scents are busy, busy, busy with a list of notes like an IHOP menu and sometimes like 5th Avenue or Shalimar, they hit the mark, but most are middling at best, an olfactory mishegoss at worse. But there are some lines that do realize less is more: Tokyo Milk and Jo Malone are great examples. The cherry is tart and not overwhelming or cloying, giving the scent an inviting first note bite. The jasmine tempers with a low key floral presence and mingles with the sandalwood to give it warmth and depth. This is definitely a late fall or winter offering; the cherry although subtle can still be too much in warmer months, especially with the sandalwood giving it structure and longevity. This reminds me of an afternoon of holiday baking, its warm and sweet, cozy and comforting.

Underrated Cherry. Lasts all day and has a bit of development. It's related to Burberry Brit and I Want Choo Forever in scent profile. Let's remember the "reminds me of" section is not a dupe listing... In comparison, RG is more straightforward and has the Philosophy dna of softness. Soft straightforward cherry opening, mild white floral mid. The dry down is well blended, sweet vanillic cherry and quiet woods. Throughout the day, I got delicious wafts that surprised me. First of all, this lasted, close to skin, but nevertheless it lasted 10 hours. Not normal for Philosophy in my experience. Hubby also complimented me in this and that is saying something. These days I find myself admiring scents that sit close and warm up on my skin, providing a pleasant personal experience that only those close to me share in. This is one of those scents and I'm glad to have it in my collection.

Honestly my favorite scent I’ve gotten this year. Before buying the 2 oz, I got a travel size and it smelled so different to the full size I have now. (100% positive it was not the intense as I’ve smelled both and prefer the original) Either way, the perfume itself just smells so fresh and airy yet juicy and fruity. It opens with this creamy sweet blend of jasmine and almond, and as it develops on my skin it turns into a very airy, juicy mix of black cherries and ,oddly enough , pineapple. It’s not listed but this really does remind me of pineapple without being overly sweet like in other perfumes. I’ve gotten dozens of compliments wearing radiant grace to work and out to dinner. Safe to say it’s in my permanent rotation from now on.

I tried it at ulta without thinking much but suprisingly I loved it! I love fcwc from philosophy but I hadn't really heard of radiant grace before I tried it yesterday. I left the store thinking it was pleasant but then ended up returning to the store few hours later because I couldn't stop sniffing my wrist lol. I find ALMOST ALL cherry perfumes to be medicinal but this one is an exception. In fact, I didn't even realize it was cherry before I saw the notes. Its a pleasant fruity floral perfume that I think would be mass appealing. Nothing too special or ground breaking but its just really nice. Definitely worth having it in a collection. Would be nice for all 4 seasons too! It's light, sweet, but also has warmth to it. 9/10

The cherry reads more raspberry to me (not tart or juicy, softer and more floral than I expect from cherries), sugary almost marshmallow-y, a little bit powdery. Lasts decently on the skin, on par with Pure Grace Pop of Sun. There's also something a little similar to that one in the dry down, but only just. No groundbreaking complexity here but its simplicity makes it very, very wearable. I have a love/hate relationship with Philosophy fragrances, pretty much the entire Amazing Grace line is a hard pass from me but I love this.

Radiant Grace is a beautifully fresh, fruity-floral scent. It leads with a delightful ambery black cherry note that stays soft and close to the skin rather than overpowering a room. While it carries a lovely, comforting warmth, it manages to remain completely weightless. This was an absolute blind buy, and I'm thrilled I trusted my instincts—it has easily earned its spot as one of the standout offerings in their entire collection. This one is great for the warmer months of the year.

Long lasting for Philosophy and finally a perfume giving me cherry without smoke. Soft and sweet - makes me wish Narciso would do a cherry perfume , as it might be a little more sophisticated than this . Until then , this is the one, and it will be hard to beat unless there is a little more musk or some amber to increase the sexiness. For now the pretty factor outweighs anything that MAYBE is lacking in sex appeal. So lovely!

Got it for $22 cad. Steal deal in my opinion. I hate cherry note in most of the perfumes because its too artificial and synthetic but OMG, this cherry note is too good, and now i have an urge to discover more perfumes which have cherry in it. That scent profile reminds me of every expensive makeup stores where my wife go for shopping. Just want that this perfume lasts little longer and project longer.

i absolutely LOVE this perfume. i prefer to wear it in the summer due to memories but i always get compliments when i wear this and i love love love cherry perfumes. reminds me of such wonderful memories

OK... I have to respond to @pinkRocket81 because that comparison is CRAZY to me!!! I'm not coming for you at all I swear! I am just genuinely confused and need help understanding. I also have both and both were blind buys (pretty much the only way I buy perfumes) and I think that La Petite Robe Noire might be the worst one I have bought to date (I have over 100 blind buys)... which sucks because it's not a cheap one like this! I buy from live auctions and do my research so I bought it based and all the raving reviews. As I am sitting here doing another sniff test on Radiant Grace, I am getting a lot of sweetness (I'm not getting cherry, but more lychee/Litchi), a little floral and not much of anything else. It's decently enjoyable... It's what I thought/hoping Delina or Delina Ex would smell like (I was wrong about those too). However, it is giving a me headache. It reminds me of much sweeter MJ Honey or Dot actually. (UPDATE 5/26/26: I'm wearing again today and I like it MUCH more and it's not giving me any headache. I also decided to layer with pure grace for more powder/musk and it's lovely and comforting) But with La Petite Robe Noire all I get is a floral, grandma musk BOMB. It's overpoweringly strong and after only 2 sprays made me gag. I could smell it where I sprayed it for 2 days! My husband asked me why I sprayed something so gross, LOL. I had such high hopes too because I've been wanting to find a floral that I don't hate. To me, Radiant Grace is not a 'floral'

This is the less sassy, more polite sister to Guerlain’s La Petite Robe Noire. It is the closest and most comparable perfume I can relate this one to, but we’re comparing this to a titan, so hear me out. Radiant Grace surprised me. Longevity isn’t bad and it projects well with an impressive silage. It’s sweet and of course leans gourmand, but isn’t too cloying and smells high end. The black cherry smells sophisticated and a little less syrupy than Guerlain’s “..Noire”, ultimately making it a little more wearable, but with the trade-off of the character and complexity which it lacks in comparison. We’ll forgive it of that though, as it’s hard to beat one of the oldest iconic French houses out there in scent (and also given Guerlain still uses a lot of raw materials rather than just synthetics). Given Radiant Grace is sold cheaply at drugstores, I’d give this a solid 8. It does the old world-glam cosmetic vibe well, (which I suspect is mostly due to the orris note), but it’s not powdery, and that’s impressive. Overall, since I own La Petite Robe Noir, and am more of a niche wearer/collector, I probably won’t reach for this too much, but I would confidently gift this to the person who is just starting their perfume collection and loves smelling romantic and glamorous, without smelling sour or powdery - which is where a lot of the iconic, older romantic perfumes eventually go.

Yay! A cherry scent that doesn't have that artificial cough medicine smell to it! The initial spray is wonderful, a beautiful burst of white floral and sweet (but not overly so) cherries. Warm and feminine. The scent dries down nice and doesn't really change much, albeit it is a tad bit sweeter. (kind of reminds me of the smell of a scented lip gloss or lipstick(?)). I agree with the person who said it's a mall scent. It's nothing particularly groundbreaking, but I like this fragrance a lot.

This is nice, simple but nice. The cherry in this fragrance is dark like Fendi L'Acquarossa Elixir. Without truly looking at notes this smells like pink flowers that been watered with a black cherry juice/almost milk. In my mind, someone who wears this is always perfectly pink, preppy, neat or cutesy. I don't find this mature, nor do I find it powdery but without a doubt it is FLORAL - This could be a Chloe or Miu Miu flanker. Rated Look at Me, Im Sandra Dee..

This is a sophisticated cherry! So juicy! If Chloe Nomade was sweeter, a bit softer, with less citrus and a nice dose of cherry added to the mix this would probably be close to it.

This is the best cherry scent I've tried so far. This would fall in the category of "romantic" for me. Some may call it generic but I would call it broadly likeable.

Great everyday fragrance! I love the body cream and wish the perfume matched that scent exactly. If it did, it would be a 10/10 — as it is, I’d give it a solid 7.

i'm not sure if this is too specific an anecdote, but this smells exactly like walking through a boscov's in the wintertime.... oddly nostalgic for me, but not in a good way. very powdery, definitely to a "mature" point. on some whiffs i smell the cherry, other times it just smells like a generic "red fruit" accord. it's fine, i definitely wouldn't buy a full bottle of it. it also doesn't last at all, especially not in the heat. edit: a few hours after spraying it, most of the smell is gone but it has left an oddly bitter note. not sure if it's just my body chemistry, but it's evoking something like a burnt macaron. very odd.

The way they sneak sandalwood into every gourmand.... I always want these scents to be clean and sweet, similar to shower gel, but it never happens. Sandalwood is also trendy, and has been for the last few years, so of course they want to cash in.

Love the scent but it’s gone so fast. I use it as a booster at my desk during the day and as a bedtime fragrance. Won’t repurchase, though.

Nope. Not for me. I tried this not realizing it contained cherry, and I should've read Fragrantica before spritzing. I dislike cherry, despite trying very hard to come around to some semblance of enjoyment of it. I just cannot, and that's fine I suppose. If you like cherry though, you'll probably enjoy this (also, what a time for cherry lovers! It's trending like crazy). It isn't so much a strong, Benadryl type of cherry, but more of a black cherry soda type of scent. Something in here smells spiced, almost like cola. It feels like there's more going on than just the 3 notes listed, I smell a bit of something like nutmeg or anise. I will say, this has more strength than many Philosophy fragrances I've tried (shame I don't care for the fragrance itself, that figures...). I actually think that if you're into this one, it's worth the price tag (I often feel that the flimsy performance of these perfumes don't life up to the cost). It's really just that simple. It's a nice fragrance, but it's just not my thing. 🍒

somehow doesn't smell anything like cherry. oddly getting some pineapple smell from this. way too sweet. doesn't smell like any of the notes listed. smells great out of the bottle but on my skin becomes disgusting.

I bought a tiny .33 oz “perfume pen” of this at Ulta after blind buying the body wash and liking it. It’s by far the fruitiest fragrance I own.. it smells like cherry candy marshmallows layered on top of synthetic woods. I guess there’s supposed to be jasmine in there too but it must be well blended or disguised so that it doesn’t seem terribly floral. Overall it’s a pretty homogeneous scent that doesn’t change much. I agree with a previous reviewer who said that this is a generic mall scent. I wouldn’t go as far as to describe it as a girls locker room body spray kind of smell but it’s right on the edge. Not sophisticated or challenging at all. Seeing this featured on QVC one day confirmed this for me. However, I don’t care because it’s warm and cozy and it just smells good. I suppose it could be sexy on the right person to someone out there, but for me it’s a happy smell for the fall and winter when I’m feeling depressed.

I love this one for one specific reason. This smells exactly like the entire cosmetics department. It’s so nostalgic. You know when you put all the little tester strips in your pocket at Sephora and you get home and it’s the most satisfying blend of every perfume you tried? That’s the best way I can describe this. It’s a clean, bright, fresh floral that feels like it came out of the beauty department in the early 2000’s in the best way possible. I’ll always have this one in my collection if for anything else, to sniff something that makes me smile.

Lovely and clean! As an avid cherry perfume hater, when I read the notes after spraying it I was shocked to find cherry as the top note. Done very well, perfect for a causal day however I don’t think this is an “eventful” perfume.

Has anyone tried the Radiant Grace Intense that is on Philosophy's / Macy's website? I don't see a separate page for it on here, but it's out. Apparently they added a raspberry coulis accord & vanilla.

Just stopping by to highlight that we need Radiant Grace Intense in the database (I have submitted two requests in the forum). It’s one of my favorite fragrances ever and MILES beyond the original.

I’m waiting for Fragrantica to add Radiant Grace Intense. I bought it at Sephora full price in US 4oz eau de parfum for $99. Anyone else sniffed or purchased this flanker?

This is really nice! A light, fresh, simple cherry scent. Reminds me of a cherry flavored juice box 🧃. A little floral, a little woody, but ultimately all about the cherry

sampled at ulta! i'm not usually a cherry girl, but i'm a sucker for philosophy anything. brand loyalty aside, i think it's very nice. a good date night fragrance.

Opens with cherry candy and jasmine, dries to a pleasant but generic mall scent. I don't dislike it but it doesn't move me or anything
