The dry down envelopes you in soft musk, the golden warmth of amber, and just a whisper of patchouli. The black tea note really helps to enhance the matcha tea note here, and to keep this centered on being a creamy matcha latte. This is super cozy, comforting, yummy, sweet, and creamy - a sweet and creamy matcha latte with vanilla and touches of macadamia! I’m obsessed with Phlur’s mists, and I own a bunch of them! My top 5 faves are Heavy Cream, Vanilla Nectar, Beach Skin, Cashmere Skin, and Vanilla Skin. Matcha Milk does somewhat slightly remind me of Heavy Cream and Cashmere Skin. I also own a couple of Phlur’s perfumes, Afterglow (which is nice enough) and Honey Moon (which I absolutely love!). I don’t have a ton of matcha, or tea fragrances, although I do own Kilian Princess, and it happens to be one of my very top favorites! I get great performance with Matcha Milk, especially considering it’s a mist. The longevity is between moderate and strong as it lasts around 7 hours on my skin. The projection is moderate, it radiates out about an arm’s length from me. For a body mist, as a gourmand enthusiast, this is one of my favorites. For $40, It's perfect if you're just getting into layering scents and starting your fragrance journey. For it's price, this isn't very surprising, but it opens up with a slight rubbing alcohol smell, but quickly dissipates after a second or two. The scent is very delicate afterwards. The bergamot and black tea is subtle and I don't think I'd notice it if I didn't read the notes. It starts off mildly lactonic with a stronger vanilla and earthy matcha note. Once it fully dries down I don't get much of the patchouli. It has a creamy, musky, amber finish and the slight hint of patchouli perfectly compliments it. Overall, if you're looking for a step up from B&BW body mists, love earthy vanilla scents, or just need a light spring gourmand, Matcha Milk is 100% the way to go. Once I inevitably run through this bottle, I will be buying another.

The ultimate layering mist! I replaced what was left of my Heavy Cream with this, which had gone dark brown and somewhat sour. I have no idea where we're getting the "matcha" branding of it all, but to me this is a better version of Heavy Cream. I suppose it's Light Cream! Slightly less full-on dairy milky and therefore more wearable. *Just* enough tea/fresh notes to brighten it up a touch. Lactonic, heavy on the vanilla as it dries down. So cozy and yummy! I will echo other reviews and warn that it is whisper-light. I like that because heavy frags give me a headache and I feel like I can never get through them (lol), but yeah you'll need a heavy hand with this one.

It's a body spray so of course it's not going to perform like a EDP, but regardless, this is a gorgeous fragrance. First of all, I hate matcha. I think it tastes like drinking a bag of liquified lawn clippings. But the smell of this is stunning. It isn't like matcha to me. It's a sweet, creamy, milky scent with green notes that keep it from being too heavy or cloying. I normally hate layering fragrances, but I really like this way this smells with Paris Corner Lactea Divina. It enhances it just like hot sauce enhances food without ruining the fragrance profile.

Bought this on a whim about a month ago because I had heard good things about Vanilla Skin and Heavy Cream by Phlur as a duo. Since matcha is all the rave atm, I decided to give it a shot (alongside the others). I'm so glad I did because I actually love this more than the other two. It really is what it says it is. It's one of the best creamy matcha fragrances out there and smells akin to a vanilla matcha latte. If Phlur made this into an EDP, I'd be first in line to purchase it.

Uhhhhhhh why didn’t they make this one stronger! It’s very subtle but soooo good! An inoffensive, slightly sweet matcha, creamy, slightly nutty vanilla, and musk. The citrus notes keep it airy and stop it from being overly sweet. It’s creamy but not lactonic! It’s not on the level of heavy cream or commodity milk for example but the notes give it a nice creamy touch like matcha foam versus a deep earthy matcha. You can’t detect the patchouli so don’t be afraid of that note.

The matcha is barely-there, so no grassy nuances, but that aside, this is still very nice. Milky, nutty (the macadamia is the most apparent to me) without being too sweet or too savory. Just a hint of vanilla and black tea. Not picking up on any bergamot. Has a little more complexity than Heavy Cream. Fresh, light, wearable, cozy. Edit: tons of compliments on this, though people describe it as "vanilla," "vanilla cupcake," etc.

I pretty dislike the opening because we can smell the patchouli so I thought about selling it but once it settles it smells like a beautifully blended matcha latte with macadamia milk. The dry down is very sweet, nutty decadent and beaitiful. Unlike anything I have ever smelled before. I wish they would release a edp and body oil/lotion. The patchoulis hater please give it a try because it is absolutely beautiful.

A gourmand lovers dream! I know it’s in the name, but this is genuinely milky - so many fragrances claim to have lactonic notes and you can’t really detect them. But this is beautifully lactonic. Admittedly I can’t detect any matcha or tea notes but a strong vanilla does come through once this starts to dry down. I also get a nice nuttiness. It’s a beautiful bodyspray if you love an ultra sweet scent!

A thick vanilla milkshake. Very creamy and sweet. What Heavy Cream should have been. That said if you are looking for a tea scent this is not it. Nothing green or fresh about it to my nose on paper, skin or clothes. Ok performance for a body mist but nowhere near the longevity of other Phlur mists like Vanilla and Peach Skin or the eternal Vanilla Smoke

I thought I was going to hate this, as I hate matcha and fresh green scents, but holy cow I am in love. It smells like a sweet milk tea. Not cloying, not gross earthy matcha, just green tea and sweet milk that mix beautifully. As a gourmond lover who feels phlur's other gourmond scents didn't quite hit the mark, this one executed it perfectly.

This is very sweet, I don't get any of the tea note but I do love it. It lasts so well on clothes and a spritz in your hair has you catching wafts of it all day. It is very useful for layering and I think if this came as an EDP I would be straight in there to get it. I does not scream matcha to me but I still really enjoy it.

In the opening you get this earthy green smell , not sure if it’s the matcha or the black tea but it’s some type of tea. Then one the dry down it’s like yum boujee marshmallow without the strawberry had a baby with cheirosa 71 but just took the nuttiness from it and added milk

I love it and I don’t care what it says about me! Matcha is an afterthought in this fragrance BUT it smells like sweet bergamot tea with a lot of vanilla oat milk foam and a slice of citrus for garnish. I wouldn’t drink it yet the smell is uplifting and special

OMG this is amazing for the sweet matcha latte lovers out there! It smells just like a sweet, creamy, matcha latte. If you're into a less sweet matcha this probably wont be your thing. But I am obsessed. I bought it immediately after smelling it!

i think this might just be one of the best matcha scents out there! it's milky but not in a bad way and the tea notes work well together its great with berry cream but i can imagine matcha soft serve by d'annam works really well too for layering

gurllll this is so damn good. Like not heavy on the matcha, more like a vanilla starbucks matcha. very good! the green tea note definitely makes this easier to wear as a young adult woman. Love love love love

I don't get any matcha ☕ 🌿 or bergamot 🍋 For me sweet creamy vanilla 🤍 black tea musk. Pairs really well with Kayali Pistachio. I'm not a pistachio scent fan so it makes my bottle wearable and enjoyable.

Delicious & cozy, but no longevity as sadly most of Phlur’s body mists tend to be. Don’t get much matcha at all, just lactonic notes, which I still like. I enjoy it as a bedtime scent!

Sprayed this on my clothes, and the dry down smells exactly like La Vie Est Belle. Prefer it on my skin where it fades away before turning into La Vie Est Belle....

This is gorgeous and idc if it doesn’t actually smell like matcha because matcha may as well actually smell like grass. I need this in edp form, Phlur. Thankyaaa

doesn’t smell very prominently of matcha - BUT it is the most delicious, cozy, sweet milky candy scent. would love to have this if it werent a body mist!

Far exceeded my expectations! Im so glad I got the full size instead of the travel size. It’s so green , sweet, and creamy. Perfect for spring!

i get so many compliments on this! mixed with milk+ from commodity and some wood and sea salt from jo malone to balance all the sweetness

I really like this one. It smells like sweet earl grey tea to me. I enjoy anything with bergamot in it. I don’t get any matcha tho.

Is this a super green smelling matcha? No. Do I want to bathe myself in this? Well YESSSS!

headline: completely misses the mark on branding, but a yummy, easygoing scent. If you’re into niche perfumes like I am, Phlur is a great place to go to find those cheapie night fragrances that do nothing but wrap you in a warm hug of sugar so you don’t go to bed smelling like antique furniture or wet soil. While I have zero plans to wear this out and about, Matcha Milk is a noseful of amiability. It is quite literally white sugar and bergamot. You will get no tea. I don’t even really get milk; certainly no nuttiness. There is, however, this gorgeous blast of candy-sweetness at the top that gives way to a vanilla powder skin scent. The only thing I could compare it to are those pastel multi-colored flavored Jet-Puffed mini marshmallows. Fruity, sweet, powder-coated, and the absolute lightest touch of fatty-sour. I can’t stop smelling it, honestly. It is a perfect pairing for my current favorite hair-and-skin routine, the full set of Vanilla Vibezzz. Soft and sweet skin, easy to wear and below-average longevity. Spring, for sure. Appropriate for the transition into and out of winter as well. Clearly people are heavily divided on this (like most Phlurs) but I tend to think that it wears close enough to the skin that you won’t offend anyone. Finally, to reiterate: night fragrance!

I am hesitant about any new matcha fragrance releases, wondering whether it was just treated as another trend or genuinely was given some thought. Unfortunately Princess by Killian, while clearly done well, gives zero matcha to me and is a cloying marshmallow. So far Matcha Meditation by Replica is the only good matcha fragrance. I tried Matcha Milk in store today, and I walked back a few times to spray more. I don't really get the bergamot, I was surprised to see it as a note, but I generally like anything with that note so perhaps it's in there somewhere. It feels very warm, not very green or strong green tea-y, but like a very soft vanilla matcha latte. It's a cosy sweetness; I hate cloying and this is certainly not cloying. The lasting power on my skin doesn't encourage me to spend money on this, but I do think it's nice. Maybe if it becomes an EDP I'll reconsider :)

A very warm spicy and sweet scent. I am disappointed that the tea notes are not so prominent but now that think about it this IS meant to be (at least what I believe to be) kind of like a matcha version of Heavy Cream. This scent is like a sweet matcha cream cake, matcha with sweet vanilla foam and a matcha white hot chocolate. I like it, but I'm not obsessed with it. For now, this will be one of my rotations for the colder/crisp days in Spring, Autumn and Winter. Also, this does NOT smell like Matcha Meditation by Maison Martin (who is spreading this misinformation?). They have a better blend of tea/matcha notes and dry down of white chocolate that lingers just enough. For those under the influence that this is like Matcha Meditation, please, this ain't it. If you like a more sweet and marshmallow like scent, then by all means go for it. If not, save your money.

This is really, really good, but it's only a matcha latte for the first few minutes and then it just dries down to a really yummy sweet vanilla scent. I'm not mad at it bc the drydown is delectable, but I do wish the matcha effect lasted longer. I think Kayali's matcha scent nailed the brief better. Kayali's is a bit more earthy, while Phlur's is way more sweet and creamy. I could've sworn there was apple in the opening because it's SO bright and sparkly. It's definitely giving a starbucks vanilla-matcha iced latte moreso than like a genuine matcha latte from a more refined coffee shop. The performance is really good for a body mist, but Phlur is known to have great body mists. I'm definitely happy with my purchase and I love this for layering with my other matcha scents if nothing else!! Rating: 8/10

Preface to say I am not a fan of Phlur. To me they are repackaging mainstream/popular scents from other brands into their 'clean girl aesthetic' while massively toning down the performance & keeping the price high. 'Matcha Milk' is no exception. Such poor performance, but an uplifting/pleasant scent. There is no matcha earthiness, but this body mist smells like a sweet milky green tea chai latte without the turmeric & a generous shot of vanilla bean. The opening is harsh: smells medicinal...then quickly dries down to latte. Overall my favourite from the body & hair mist line & it's not sour like 'Heavy Cream'. 'Matcha Milk' also reminds me of matcha vanilla cream wafers you can buy from Korea/China/Japan, so if you like those you will definitely like this!

This is an uncomplicated, ultra sweet milk smell that doesn't give a lot other than that. It is pleasant, but as someone who blind buys basically any fragrance that has a tea note in it, I was absolutely looking for that in the scent. I get that phlur tends to make more massive appealing scents present day, but they used to make fragrances that excited me and had a bit of nuance to them. I'm afraid with this one, they made a replica of all of the ultra sweet gourmands that have come out this year without anything special to add. I really was looking forward to this launch, but I'm bummed, although I will say if you don't have any other ultra sweet gourmands, this is a nice "dumb reach" and lasts long for a body spray.

i’m not into matcha, i’m not into patchouli, i’m not into photorealistic scents. but MMMM i love this! if you are looking for those 3 qualities though, you might see this as a “miss” though, definitely test it. one of my fave scents for spring atm tho. milky, nutty, and though there is a lovely grassy tea in there, it’s not explicitly matcha. combos i’m loving: • fruity, bright, juicy, creamy. josie maran clementine crush body butter + matcha milk • green, fresh, soft. matcha milk + phlur father figure. edit: the grassiness is the first note to fade away, which is a shame coz it’s the best part for me. what’s leftover is still pretty pleasant though.

okay i did tell myself to stop bothering with phlur but as someone who has been getting into matcha fragrances as of recently... i just couldn't resist at least going to smell it in person first. very powdery yet sweet and creamy matcha. not getting a single bit of playdoh like others mentioned. it's soft and not punchy, and has no overwhelming grass note to it that can come with stronger matcha fragrances. i personally noticed it laster longer on me than the berry cream counterpart did. perfect release for the spring time imo. for a body mist i'm satisfied with it.

I dunno why so many brands keep doing matcha releases that smell nothing like matcha. Ignoring the name it’s a less sweet more unisex version of heavy cream without the vomit/rotten milk thing that happens to it which is great. Macadamia is a nice addition. Definitely not green or grassy which I would have liked. I dunno how but when it’s mixed with strawberry berry cream it does kinda remind me more of matcha. Matcha mediation is the only true matcha iv smelt and they discontinued it :(

They could have called this pistachio latte and it would be more accurate because this definitely does not smell like matcha! (I know it says macadamia nuts in the notes - maybe it’s just because it’s green but I swear to god it smells like pistachio.) It is beautiful though. Very airy but cozy, perfect for hiding inside from the winter weather but I think it will also be nice in the spring and fall. I don’t necessarily want to wear milky fragrances in summertime but ymmv there.

I've smelled this fragrance twice in store. The first time was absolute perfection, I smelled deep tea-like matcha with fluffy vanilla-like sweetness, perfectly incapsulating a creamy, sweet matcha latte. The second time it smelled a lot different.. It was a lot more berry and sour-like..? All i have to say is if you plan on buying this, GO to a store that sells it and actually smell the bottles before you buy it. Never buy online.

It's good! Smells like what it is! Very straight forward. Not too sweet. Not too earthy. It what you'd expect and want from this! Too many matcha scents miss the mark, and while I love heavy cream it's not a 1:1 scent ya know? So I was worried this would be like this but no, just straight up matcha latte. Blind buy friendly, just friendly in general.

I’ve been looking for a bright tea fragrance for awhile. I had Elizabeth Arden Tea frags for awhile and they just weren’t doing it anymore. I was shocked by amazing this is. It’s bright, airy, with a touch of creaminess from the milk, but not a gourmand by any means. This is so amazingly done for a baby mist it’s a must have. Office safe as well.

definitely not a matcha smell, but what it does offer is a beautiful, subtle green tea with milk! does not wear for very long but i've noticed it clings to clothing decently. i layer this with green florals and it smells beautiful! alcohol-y on first spray, but this one tends to die down with time (unlike a lot of phlur sprays, i've noticed).

This smells like Lush's super milk hair primer to me and how I hoped the body mist would smell like. I find the super milk body mist to smell quite medicinal and harsh, at times borderline like citrus cleaning product. This however smells fresh, creamy and like a lemon matcha cupcake. I'm excited to wear it in spring!

i like this but it’s far too similar to extra whip by snif for me, just minus the aldehydes :( very milky, sweet with a touch of matcha but not nearly enough. i prefer extra whip, though for a matcha fragrance, i think decorte’s kimono mai or arielle shoshana’s sunday are more up my alley!

On me this is nearly identical to SDJ Cheirosa 71...they share a creamy-nutty-vanilla profile. What differentiates it from 71 are the subtle base notes, a reduced sweetness and the whiff of matcha. I can’t detect the bergamot. I like it. I can see its layering potential.

i tried this in store and it smelled like matcha ice cream. pretty sweet and milky, but you could still smell the matcha. personally it was too sweet smelling for me to spend money on it (i’m looking for a more true matcha smell), but i liked it.

i really like this! i expected something much more green or herbal but i was so pleasantly surprised. it’s sweet and very light, and for someone who doesn’t even like matcha this is beautiful. much more vanilla/lactonic leaning

I like this but there is no matcha to be found. This opens with an inkling of bergamot and tea, but then rapidly dries down to a scent similar to Yum Boujee Marshmallow (with a hint of nuttiness).

not super matcha, moreso milk...its like if you drank a starbucks matcha with half the drink being vanilla cold foam so if u want a matcha heavy scent dont bother tbh but still smells yummy

this smells like frozen yogurt, like a yogurtland. not to say i don't enjoy it but it's a sour sweet lactonic scent that smells so much like tart frozen yogurt to me

i really like it! its sweet/creamy/nutty a little fruity but overall i really enjoy it! im easy to please though lol. vanishes really quickly on me
