Centaure Cuir Blanc

it dosent pay to be snobbish when it comes to perfumes. sometimes all that cheapies have to rely on to sell is the fact that they smell good. This is one of those. straight up leather and tobacco fragrance from start to end. lasts a long time, smells wonderfully masculine and is dirt cheap. trust your nose, not the dent in your wallet. if this was labeled Hugo Boss or Calvin Klein you would have people forking over cash by the truckload....

My review is for the original Centaure, 1991. (the bottle pictured and the pyramid are correct, not the "cuir blanc" name). It starts with an heavenly piney/citrusy tobacco, and ends towards a mossy/ambery/tobacco-ish leather. Very classical, with some vibes of Aramis Havana and Montana Parfum d'Homme. I love the great tobacco opening, even if the drydown is more classical. I love it, and any fan of tobacco, oakmoss and 80's powerhouses should put their nose on that one. Fall/Winter days, 30+

I ordered this from Ebay and just got it today. At first, I get the citrus. Then, a few minutes after it settled, it reminded me so much of something. Couldn't figure out what it was. Later, it hit me a - Carolina Herrera for men. Not that it's a bad thing, but I already have CH for Men, and I was expecting something new and different.

Reading all the review -Good and thinking this MY type of perfume . . . I am just going to blind buy it from net in 26$ for 100mL EDT unboxed. Lets see . . . I absoltely love the smell. Only mishap was it being splash packing (absence of spray)! so I purchased an empty spray bottle and put in that.

i have used it for the first time, but just love the freshness of it, and because it stays for really long like over 10 hours! and thats Awesome!
