La Nymphe & Le Poete 13.1

If you are looking for a light, non-offensive fragrance, this is it. Airy, delicate, blissfully laying on the skin. This is probably what the author meant and it succeeded perfectly. Slightly fresh, slightly citrus with flowers at the bottom. The rose is present, but as unobvious as in Isparta 26. Violets are completely non-powdery, these are violet flowers, slightly sweet and very comfortable - you could even say angelic. Sometimes a candy-like scent shines through the perfume, but I make a reservation right away - this is not a moronic scent for teenagers from a supermarket or mainstream perfumery, it is more like an association with sweets that we liked as children and always make us think fantastic and bring a smile on our face. I like this fragrance very much, although I expected more rose in the rose. Nevertheless, I rate the fragrance very highly, and it will certainly be in my collection. The fragrance is not monstrous, it is not a killer, and therefore I do not know for what time it can be recommended. It would work beautifully in winter. Although in winter we like warmer fragrances. In turn, summer, in my opinion, will not be favorable for LN&LP - it will simply disappear from our body in several dozen minutes. Probably the best will be early spring, because then it is cool but not freezing anymore. This is another very successful composition from the master's stable.

Beginning is very sharp and spicy; this could be the rose-tea leaves. Interestingly, on the official website, it never says tea rose, but Rose-Tea, so I assume this means these are dried chopped leaves to be used as tea. This might also explain why it feels spicy at the beginning. I also get something fruity (I could have sworn there was something apricot-y). Not sure what causes that. So, in effect, more like an infusion. It then develops to a beautiful accord that kinda brings together the rose-tea and orangewood. In fact the orange feels stronger to my nose and this accord is something I haven't encountered before. Drydown is more of that but mellow, but performance is rather average.

The violet and rose compete with each other in a way that spoils them both. Not a very harmonious fragrance overall. But definitely not as bad some of the other stuff from this house!

This is one the first violet scents I've tried out that actually made me feel 'meh'. I didn't like it, I didn't really hate it, but it sat comfortably there right in the creamy middle. It's the kinda disappointment you clearly describe to your year 10 students whenever they do something they shouldn't've done. You know, like squirting vinegar on another student in the canteen queue or something like that... I'm not sure if this is a rose scent, or a violet scent. Not that it MUST be one of the other, but, well, you know, seriously... Both the rose and the violet feel like co-stars to a movie the lead actor forgot to perform in. It's hard to describe it. It's a nope.

Smells like feminine leaning cologne. Huge citrus mix on top. There may be some rose, violet, wood and labdanum in the base, but they are not prominent at all. It is like D&G Light Blue of niche quality.

Green and fresh, like a landscape where grass and water take the foreground. Really simple, but the imagination will be able to create a beautiful story thanks to the name of the perfume.
