Ivymoss

When you first spray it, it smells really strongly of mint, eucalyptus, and something spicy. Once it dries down it stays spicy but the mint fades away and it’s this really pleasant woody smell. The moss smells very much alive and fresh. It’s not exactly sweet, but there is some warmth and sweetness (kinda smells like a bit of honey) to it. The lime starts to kind of exist a while after it dries down. It doesn’t smell heavily citrusy and there’s not a lot of it but it smells EXACTLY like the peel of a lime. The pine note also takes a while to be noticeable but it’s really good. You can definitely smell the tea but I wish there was more of it. I didn’t think I would love the ivy note itself but it actually smells really nice. I can’t really describe what it is but it smells like theres literal sunlight in it. Super fresh, a bit warm and spicy, but no soap-ish smells!! 9/10 I love this one, so glad I got a full size.

Thought about in one way, this is a massively fresh, green hit of lime, lemon verbena, and mint over a mossy base--just as it says on the tin. Thought about in another way, this is the impression of sitting on a bench next to a moss and ivy-covered wall in a garden in an English estate, on a warm, wet, overcast day. Like several Pineward fragrances, it manages to be both light and dark at the same time, extraordinarily fresh but also grounded and comforting. I love it. I find that most of Pineward's herbaceous fragrances are relatively (and regrettably) short-lived on me. (The spice-focused blends are a completely different story.) In that context, Ivymoss's longevity is a bit better than average.

The name doesn't lie - Ivymoss is very mossy with a clear Ivy. It also opens with a superb lime - zesty and sparkling. I think the world of Pineward and their use of naturals and especially their lack of fear about the thing that's missing from most modern perfumery - the moss! Here you get a nice lime opening, lime and ivy. Then a very nice tea pokes through. I'm not a big tea guy but it's very nice here. It all rests comfortably on a generous and hefty bed of mosses. It really is surprising how fresh this is considering the heroic dosing of mosses (cedarmoss and oakmoss). Pineward points this out themselves but it's not ballyhoo. "Mossy fresh" has just been perfected!

this one is a pretty straightforward moss scent, with fresh green ivy, loose leaf green tea, and bright citrusy lime. There’s a floral accord here from the water lily and it’s fresh and airy. There’s not much to this scent as it’s pretty self explanatory from the notes, but I think the simplicity is done really well here. A perfectly fresh, earthy, green and citrusy scent for spring.

Holy smite this is fresh. I agree with Isabel below regarding the realistic notes. I suppose this is due to the true natural essential oils. This can be said to all pinewards I would presume. I've been struggling to find a fresh and natural scent. The probably best greeen, aromatic and forest centered summerscent. Got a 52ml bottle!

• Very good. • One of the better from this house, but also a departure from their pine specialty into a very moss-forward but creamy/moody scent. • Could I wear it every day? Nope. Too distinct, too much of one thing. But the first and only time I've worn it, compliments galore. • Certainly smells "expensive".

There was this concentrated oil a best friend gave to me for my birthday when I was 18. It was called Melissa oil like my name. Anyway it had this smell, almost exactly like this perfume. It’s a very clean fresh lemongrass, mint smell.

I don’t think I expected for it to be as zesty! The whole room will know you sprayed it, though. Very green and lime-forward at first, then it goes into a softer, lemon balm tea. The dry down of this is much mossier, forest-floor like on my husband than it is on me which is a shame, as I was expecting more notes to come out of it. I do see what people mean about the mint quality, this perfume is trying to be a very photorealistic open-air verbana field that it creates this sharp, air-cutting mint likeness. Not for me, but still a strong contender for Pineward. I am selling a decant of this for whoever’s interested (EU only; if you’re in the UK, even better) 🕺

The opening is very minty, it reminds me of Lush's Dirty fragrance. The citrus comes in shortly after, almost leaning bugspray-esque for a few minutes. Once it dries down, the mint goes away and the citrus dies down, and the moss comes through. It is very earthy, and to me it leans masculine which is not really my style. Still a very nice scent, quite good sillage and very long lasting, almost to a fault (I don't like smelling fragrances on my clothes for days afterwards)

I get a very minty, citrusy scent off of this. When I move my nose really close, I definitely get an earthiness - almost like mildew. Overall I would say that the citrus/lemon scent is what comes through the most. Some tinges of grass/moss as well. Edit: the longevity on this stuff is insane. I had it on for about 18 hours, took a shower and could still faintly smell it.

My 5th Pineward sample!! MOSS MOSS MOSS MOSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this so dang mossy, the mossyness kinda fades after a bit to let the lime, pine shine through. this is super clean and definetly wearable af, wish there was more tea though. 7/10, longevity is a solid 8 hours and projection is like 30 mins haha

This is like sucking a menthol sweet and then rubbing it all over you. Really disappointed by the lack of anything coming through apart from the menthol. Also - warning, this WILL stain your clothes! I put it on a tshirt by accident - its got a big oil stain now. Livid. Maybe wear at Xmas or something - I cannot figure out why people are saying wear in Spring or Summer - nope

Jesus that’s a lot of lime lmao. At first it smelled like straight up lime juice squeezed on a pile or herbs then it mellowed out to the rind of a lime sitting in a cup of hot herbal tea. Idk why but I’m think more of an Asian herbal tea probably because it kinda reminds me of Thai Basil if it was deeeep in the background. I don’t get much water lily (thank god). If you like lime this is for you, if not maybe skip out on this.

For fans of Fernet Branca Menta. So minty, limey, and herbaceous that I was thinking of absinthe, anise. I couldn't shake the image of a shot of it being placed in front of me. The dry down reminded me of store-bought mojito mixer. This is not for me, but if you're a fan of minty freshness and frequently order Fernet, here's your vibe!

this smells EXACTLY like something very specific and every time i get a whiff it's on the tip of my tongue for like a split second and before i can figure out what it is, it's gone. i've had it on for an hour and it's driving me nuts closest thing i can come up with is some sort of rootbeer candy, licorice, or maybe a lime flavored cola but i know for sure that none of those are it this is going to bother me forever

This one reminds me of if a forest fairy was also a librarian or decided to become a harvard student. It's definitely become a favorite of mine.
