Valentine

If at any point in your life you’ve ever wanted to smell like a hyper-realistic strawberry cheesecake, you NEED to get your nose on this. Like yesterday. I don't know how in the world Chavalia managed it, but this fragrance is unbelievably realistic and accurate without smelling fake or synthetic at all. Imagine a creamy slice of New York style cheesecake. Graham cracker crust and all. Top that with a sweet strawberry kind of compote and just a touch of fresh lemon zest as the finisher, and you have this fragrance. If you’re not into super realistic gourmands, there’s a good chance you might not jive with this one. But if you are? Please do yourself a favor and at least get a sample of this to try out. Jousset’s Creme de La Berry is what I was hoping would be a good strawberry cheesecake scent. I sampled it and liked it well enough to get a bottle, but honestly it smells much more like Crunch Berry cereal. I find that to be enjoyable and it satisfies my gourmand loving heart in its own way, but it’s definitely not strawberry cheesecake. And Valentine simply blows it out of the water when they’re put up against each other. Needless to say, I decluttered the Jousset immediately and replaced it with this. I get a solid 6-7 hours of wear out of this, but I’m a chronic oversprayer so do with that information what you must. I just adore this fragrance and while I haven’t smelled every single strawberry cheesecake scent on the market as of this very moment, I simply cannot imagine another fragrance of this specific scent profile being able to top it. Freaking fantastic.
