Campfire Rebel

It's like a campfire without the smoke and the wood, if that makes any sense. The "incense" aspect lacks the nose-burning smokiness. There is a boozy vanilla that reminds me of the ever-popular Tobacco Vanille, but with less of the sharpness of alcohol and more of the depth of the vanilla. I am most disappointed by the lack of woodsy scent, which I believe could probably be provided by something as simple as the ubiquitous sandalwood. All in all, I've decided to hang on to this one because it fills a niche in my perfume wardrobe. It doesn't project, but is a skin scent with an interesting personality.

I'm surprised by how much I actually like this (I didn't think I'd like anything from the line at all)! A little off-putting yet intriguing smokey scotch at first, then comes a masculine woodsy dry down; the combination of vetiver and oud here actually reminds me of Dignified by House of Silage a little

Dirty harsh smelling start. Give it little bit time to settle smells much more pleasant. I can actually smell little bit of raspberry once the stinky opening goes away, it's actually not bad at all.

This definitely smells of campfire, not much else. I imagine if I wore this out, people would think I had just come from a bonfire and was standing downwind the entire time. It actually doesn't smell like the smoke itself, but of the charred wood after the fire has burned out. Very bitter and unpleasant in my opinion. Not smelling the raspberry in the opening at all.

This smells like sweet, succulent BBQ babyback ribs.

Way too boozy and smoky to me. I only get whiskey, incense and oud and none of them are pleasant. I ended up scrubbing it off before it fully developed because it made me nauseous so I can't speak on the drydown. I really don't see how anyone could enjoy this

Got a sample of this and Cuddle Punk at Nordstroms the other day.(Cuddle Punk! Awesome name!) Anyway, Campfire could also be called LOLITA BY THE FIRE. Initial blast of oud on card is nice but quickly up come cherries (although pyramid reads raspberry) and smoky wood staying pretty linear thru the first hour. An intriguing and simple 3 chord song mixing men's and women's elements. Let me clarify by saying this doesn't strike me as a mens-too/unisex scent. It strikes me as a smoky women's scent, and a young woman at that. It's the quality of sweetness in the cherry/rasberry for me, pushing dangerously close to lip balm territory. Only the woods in here saves it from becoming Candyland.

I was expecting to dislike this -and I really didn’t like the boozy, smokey opening - but an hour later the oud helps mellow it out and it turns into an interesting skin scent. Emphasis on skin. That’s too bad because there’s something promising here that just needed a little more stamina. Found this in the cheap discount rack at TJ max as the package had been opened prior to me finding it and taking the liberty of spraying once. And now I kinda wish I had picked it up. Im surprised the interesting turn this took. The opening is uber masculine and powerful. If given a chance, I’d try it again.

Wow, I don't catch any raspberry or floral in here at all! When I first applied it, all I was able to smell was burning firewood. Vetiver made it dry instead of green, and oud turned it nice and hot. This is SO wood intensive. I can finally smell the incense after about ten minutes, and that vanilla bourbon is very subtle. Much later on, it turns sour, salty, and more smokey and I think that's the oud right there. It kind of smells like a burned band-aid and a bit like christmas.

Too boozy and BBQ to start, then fades to just vanilla raspberry. I wish it landed somewhere in-between. Campfire fragrances always veer too close into liquid smoke territory, for me. They tend to have an artificial aspect. I wish something would capture the burnt embers without lighter fluid soaked charcoal.

I just sampled this today and WHOOOOWEE is this a beast! Smelled like I spilled some expensive scotch on myself on the initial spray then it dried down to a nice smoky oud and incense. This juice should be labeled as unisex because it definitely has a masculine vibe to it. Overall a nice surprise.

On first spray, I get a dirty burnt wood accord with a slight boozy note. On dry down, I get a lot of dirty vetiver. I would say very similar to Encre Noire. All in all, its not what I expected, but I will use it. I do like it better than Encre Noire.
